Maybe... I mean, give it a try??? Please. I love your comments so much. 10 chapters are already up. I've had it on hold for so long. I do have the sequel to Opposites and another Alex story planned, but I've been getting so many ideas for this story recently. I don't want to loose you :(
Alex is a poor ass. He's being played with, but he's just simply an ass. It's borderline abusive. (Based on a later thing you said) I did have more jealous Alex in the chapter with the shoes, but he started sounding emotionally abusive. I couldn't do that and I can't keep using the same comments over and over again. So, I deleted it all.
Let's just put it this way. She was a virgin when she met Alex, do you think she would be on birth control? I'm not saying that she isn't nor that she is. I never directly mentioned her using it for medical reasons already, but I can't tell you ;)
I would actually say that Paisley hasn't changed at all the past couple of chapters in regard of her relationship with Alex, although she most definitely has changed regarding her relationship with Jack. She always knew the affair was wrong, she knew that she had ruined something special. However, Alex has always had a way to seduce/intrigue her in a way even though she often took initiative as well. While she keeps saying she was always a step ahead of Alex, there must have been something that attracted her to him, and that's obviously still around. The whole 'bribes' thing (I'd actually use the word 'gift' because there isn't anything that directly states Alex is bribing her) has only changed slightly because of her relationship with Jack. She needs it for her wedding. I've gone so deep into this story and thought about everything so carefully I can literally write an entire in-depth analytical essay xD
That only proves that she still is hung up on Alex. As much as she wants to have it end, since she knows how he feels, she just can't do it. It consumes her so much that she even lets it show around Jack.
You already know how I feel about Alex. A poor ass who needs loving but a lecture as well.

And yes, I know it shouldn't be awkward, but... it just is for me. XD LMAO. And OMG, sooo... it's okay if you forgot. XD But I'm just wondering what we should be assuming now: that she does use it and it just wasn't mentioned or she isn't at all? XD Can you at least clarify that? XD Or does that spoil?

Now, getting into the latest chapters... great job with the updates! :D Oooh, so her and Alex reconnected, even though she didn't seem like she wanted it to happen. :/ Alex had to bribe her lol, and telling her about her opportunity... hmm... interesting to see how Paisley has changed in that regard.
Then her wearing practically everything Alex gave her while on the date with Jack, OMG. XD Girl. Girl. XD I cannot.
Like she definitely has guts. Not that I doubted her before, but this just solidifies it even more. XD
Reading through the comments, I'm agreeing a lot with what Kurrsteee; is saying. Feeling a bit bad for Alex still, lol. But you know I'm team Alex, so, this shouldn't be too surprising. XD
Okay, so, one thing I spotted in chapter 24:
The same confusing need and lust we controlling me yet again.
*were* I'm thinking instead of "we"
But that's the only thing, woot! XD
Again, great job with both updates! Interested in seeing more, although I am sad that this is coming to an end. :((

Our bean is too optimistic for this. He won't ever think anything bad about Paisley :( I can imagine him being in denial if he ever finds out

Had to look up those lyrics xD It would totally work... if Jack wasn't so nice. Alex is self-absorbed enough, though, to think Paisley would leave Jack in a heartbeat for him. So, very good from Alex's perspective, actually xD

What if? The shoes are fancy enough for a wedding, and Alex/Paisley already joked about having Alex be there as a guest. What if this affair doesn't end, but Alex can't take it? Maybe he'll blow up at the wedding and announce it to everybody just before Paisley and Jack can get married?

Definitely? Are you sure? I've already mentioned the possibility of her ending up with Jack without her saying anything about Alex, but what if it was the other way around? However, I'm totally sympathizing with him as well right now.
