Sorry about that, I've just had a lot of time off last week and have vacation this week. Also, I really want to get to another story as soon as this one ends (you probably won't like the story, so that sucks though). I promise updates will be a little slower since I do still have to read two full novels by next Monday for school.
Rian had to come back in some way. That chapter wasn't just full of hints towards Alex's feelings. It all came full circle now. I also do believe Alex may have mentioned something to Rian especially since Alex doesn't freak out about it at all. However, he probably also never mentioned the affair directly. More like he spoke about Paisley a lot and never mentioned Jack, making the possibility of their relationship not as controversial.
We've still got four chapters for more drama if needed. I can't just suddenly make them break up with seven or so chapters to go! This needed to be civil.
I do feel a little bad for Alex as well. He didn't really do much other than falling in love... and thinking the entire relationship revolves around him. So, on one hand he is sort of the victim, but on the other he's also an asshole. Simple as that.
You can't feel awkward writing about that if the entire story is about Paisley discovering her sexuality! Anyway, I believe the awkwardness is always essential, especially if one of them doesn't have any experience or hasn't had much.
As for the birth control... ummm... shhhhh. You see, usually I do mention it in my stories to make it more realistic... but maybe I forgot this time??? Oops??? Or maybe I didn't? Umm... yeah...
Who said that Paisley will tell Alex about her and Jack? He doesn't need to know.
I was expecting a long list of my typos xD Three chapters and only one that had significant typos that you noticed? Now, that's an achievement. But then again, all the typos are in the super long chapter and not in the shorter ones. Just goes to prove that it's easier to find them all myself if a chapter is short.

You can't just disappear for a minute and then post 3 updates within a week. XD I cannot. XD
So I found some time to get on and catch up. Hoping to read your other story's new chapter too, but know I'm kind of pressed for time at the moment, so... that may have to wait a bit. But just so you know if I don't get to WATRY quite yet.
Anyway, okay, three updates... whoa, a lot has happened.
Dammit, Rian is one smart cookie! XD Although I guess it wasn't too subtle. Have a feeling Alex told him something too, after getting through that whole chapter, since Rian didn't seem to realize her and Jack were still together.
Oddly enough though, was happy with the way things played out in that chapter. For some reason, I was expecting MORE drama, like a fight to break out or something, LMAO. But I'm glad it didn't and things kind of went a bit more civilly.
I'm feeling bad for Alex now. XD Just me? But yeah, after what Rian said about him loving her, and then her pushing him off at the end of that update and then kind of avoiding him now, just... aw. :( lol. I feel bad for him. Although he kind of did need the reality check, personality-wise. So I definitely understand why she pushed him off, and to kind of get that realization through him that not everything revolves around him. Please. That was the petty part where I was like, "Okay, maybe I don't feel that bad for him..." lol.
Okay, then the other two updates... hmm... so Jack and Paisley were finally together. Very awkward. XD But that was to be expected. Huge writing kudos for portraying that awkwardness, and not just easily going into the making in sensual/romantic aspect. Because your approach definitely made it more realistic and believable.
Hmm... I'm wondering if I missed something, also. Or maybe this is in the plans and I'm predicting... is Paisley on birth control? With the pregnancy inquiry in the latest chapter, it just made me wonder, since it seemed like Jack didn't take any precautions... :O When you've mentioned her times with Alex, he always pulled out, lol, but now I'm wondering if they manage that every time too. But Jack didn't, so... maybe I'm forgetting something you mentioned about protection at the beginning of all this, idk. XD lol. I feel awkward talking about this, haha, but it's just something I'm wondering now and if she actually will be pregnant. :O
Hmm... I'm looking forward to her telling Alex about her and Jack. XD lol, if that's in the plans. He's gonna be pissed. Love when he's jealous. XD
Okay, so quite a few things within chapter 21:

To find to find to find... I guess I can see how it's tempting to put it more than once. XD lol, I'm thinking maybe this was just coming back after a break in thought, though, lol.
I got to take a seat at the piano without feeling too much pressure and I didn’t have to look into the crowd as face Rian any longer.
When I saw "as face" I immediately thought of "ass face" XD But I'm thinking you probably meant to put "and face" instead. However, with the way she was feeling after the confrontation with Rian, "ass face" could fit into this somehow. XD
The attention wasn’t fixated on my just yet. I was still background music.

But yeah, the latest two updates didn't actually have any, I don't think. Not that I saw anyway.
lol, this comment is also why I'm not sure I'll have time to read your other one right now. You'll see if you get the notification I guess. XD lol. I just have a lot to say on this, though, okay, especially since a lot has happened. XD Apologies if I repeated any feedback that was similar to what others said; usually I try to read through and make sure I don't repeat anything that's already been said unless I have something else to offer on it. But along with a few updates to catch up on, there were also quite a few comments, so... I'm feeling too lazy to do so lol.
Great job with the updates, though. :) Interesting in seeing when the full shoe will drop for all of them. Hmm... this is definitely a different direction though compared to where we initially started with these characters. I've enjoyed seeing how Paisley has adapted as a character. :)

I'd fully understand if he does get super mad, he has all the right to. Maybe he'll never find out... I mean, Paisley could just break things off with one of them without giving the actual reason.

I honestly have no idea. I feel like Paisley will choose Jack, but if she tells him, I highly doubt he'll forgive her. Honestly wouldn't blame him.

I can't imagine Jack being all mad with how sweet he was... He'd have to be furious and it would be so scary. Maybe it will still happen?

No, no! Never rooting for him to get heartbroken. I wanted him to find out and be mad. But I know that’s not going to be the way it goes.

Well, there is a 'right' one using my interpretation of the word 'right' in this case, hence the quotation marks. You just don't know what I mean with 'right'. It could be as drastic as the person Paisley ends up with (if she ends up with anybody), but it could also be the person she chooses (although that doesn't mean they end up together), or it could be the person who can forgive her (which is like, nearly impossible, let's be honest here), or it could be the guy that's better at having sex with her (I think we all know who that is), however there are so many other interpretations. I know which I mean, but you're going to have to guess it until I make it known. Which one do you think it is?

Paisley doesn't seem to be making any of the right choices. You, however, get to decide whatever team you want to be on. I won't tell you which one's 'right' and which one isn't. That's for you to find out in the next five chapters.

Urgh. I'm starting to love Jack.
Not more than I love Alex, but Paisley is way more aware of Jack and what he's doing and it makes him look really sweet.
Can I still be Team Alex? Is that the right choice? Is there even a right choice?

Rian had the possibility to tell anybody ever since it happened. Do you really think he'll tell now? Maybe finding out about Paisley's doubts will, though. She certainly doesn't seem to like Alex right now. If Rian finds out, he might want to protect his friend even further.

Yeah... I had a feeling Rian didn't buy their story after he found them in the movie room. He promises not to say anything... But I wonder how long that will last... And Alex is in love with Paisley? Hmm.... That information has to be a lot for her to process, especially if she doesn't feel that way at all about him. Poor guy!

Her brother knows Zack, not Rian. But maybe that is going to be the root of all the problems? (If there are any problems, that is)

I don't really know what it's like though... I just have an older brother and am not close to him at all.
I like keeping things open. I did end my one shot (which I was actually meaning to write for but completely forgot) on a cliffhanger.
