Four years. It had been four years since Alex was taken from Jack. He was miserable, not a day went by where he didn't think about him. Every day was a new blow to the heart, when he woke up to find Alex not beside him. Now, Jack lives in a small town in Massachussets. He needed to get away from home, and forget about his past. His father leaving, his brother and sister ignoring him, and his mother hating him for most of his teenage years, but most of all, it reminded him too much of Alex. He just couldn't stand to be there anymore.

Alex, on the other hand, had forgotten about the younger boy. At first, he was a wreck, he didn't ever want to get out of bed. This went on for a few months, before the pain slowly started going away. Soon enough, he had bigger worries on his shoulders, and not enough time to worry about Jack. His foster home wasn't wasy, in fact, it was probably worse then his home with his real parents, and he fought to get emancipated. Luckily, it was accepted, and he happily moved out to Massachusetts, where he has been living for three years.
