I love it whenever there's a motivation boost, it always creates the best chapters (or so I've experienced).
I totally get what you mean. I had that in one of my stories at one point and can feel it happen soon to another. Still on team John for this one, though. Nothing will change my mind. If he does anything stupid right now, it would be so out of character that it would just seems like somebody else forced it upon him.

I'm feeling super motivated with this one, I don't even know why!
But, honestly, I haven't even decided who she's ending up with. Holly ran away from me and somehow I was writing her developing feelings for John when I hadn't even planned on that?! I'll keep you posted. :')

I love these frequent updates! Right now I'm rooting for Holly and John 100% not because Alex is being a dick but because John and Holly actually have the friendship for a perfect relationship which I never really thought she had with Alex.

Okay. Alex, you fool! You can’t go from making out with some girl at the party to make Holly jealous to drunkenly professing your love for her 2 seconds later. Obviously, I want them to get back together, but it can’t be that easy. Alex messed up and he needs to work a lot harder to prove he’s worth it. Stay strong, Holly!

SHIT IS GOING TO HIT THE FUCKING FAN

Oh damn. I feel like Holly’s about to go on a rampage after hearing that song. (I decided I can call her Holly since she doesn’t seem to relate to Jasey anymore.) I’m not sure I blame her though. Having the worst part of your life retold in a three and a half minute song can’t be enjoyable... Especially having just heard something similar from John. Poor girl, she’s got herself quite the pickle ahead of her. And poor John, I am very certain his feeling for Holly haven’t gone anywhere.

Also, Alex’s speech about the song Jasey Rae in this chapter... very relatable. “You guys would hate us if we didn’t play it...” I am definitely one of those fans on that list. Whenever I see them and they don’t play it (which I’ve come to accept the last few years since the song is sooo old now) I hate them for approximately 3 seconds before I get over it, lol. A few weeks ago, I saw them at the 2nd and 3rd SWIR anniversary shows and they played it the third night and I was soooooo pumped/cool story bro.

Alex and Jasey/Holly (I’m not sure which I’m supposed to refer to her as, lol) should just stop fighting and fast forward to the part where they love each other again. (Or admit that they love each other still...) But, there’s no fun in that, I guess... So carry on...

Damn! Not wasting any time here! I thought you might drag out the Alex reunion a little to keep us in suspense! I loveeee that Jack and Marissa were so happy to have her back that they didn’t even really bother to be mad at her. But it certainly doesn’t surprise me that’s Alex is pissedddddd. Can’t wait to see how she response to his little outburst!

Yayyyyy! So excited about this. I can’t wait to see how this new life has really changed Holly and how her relationships with the guys from the Maine will effect her relationships with her old friends. I predict some kind of love triangle between her, John and Alex.

Also, I hope Jack and Marissa are still together. However, if Marissa started dating Alex, that would be quite the plot twist!

So happy to see there's a sequel :D Can't wait to see what creative plotline you come up with ;)
Just one question... the people you called "the guys", is this The Maine we're talking about? After some research, I found out why the name "John O’Callaghan " sounded so familiar. Love their music, don't know anything else about them at all. Just giving you a heads up that some people might also be as dumb as me. Maybe you were going to directly reference it later? I dunno... But then again, other people probably got the reference immediately... Maybe it's just me.
