@Nanook yeah, I definitely noticed the typos but I also wrote this around 3am and was super sleep deprived. I was going to make a point to go back and fix them, but I've been so busy planning vacations and such that I never really got around to it yet.
I love, love, love Raise Your Voice. It's been one of my favorite movies for as long as I can remember. That's loosely what the Underwood parents are based off of, actually. So good job ;)
As far as her dad noticing everything, don't worry. I know it seems like I forgot about that detail but I didn't. It has a big part of what's coming up next.

I'm not sure if you go through and make corrections or not, so sorry if you find this annoying, but just two things I saw:

^ At this part, medal should be spelled meddle. lol. Because meddle would be in place of the word interfering; medal is like, an award. lol.
And here:

You missed the beginning quote. Honest mistake really.

Again, idk if you go back and bother with little things like that, but just thought I would point them out. If you don't, let me know and I won't bother you with them. As I start commenting stories update to update, I tend to do this, just point out things I find off with typing.
But anyway, awww... I'm wondering what's going to happen. I have this feeling of regret inside me just waiting for it. lol. If that makes sense. Sadness maybe? I don't want it to happen. :(
On another note, something I forgot to say with my initial comment... her parents have me picturing the parents from Raise Your Voice. Have you seen that movie? Hilary Duff is the main character, but in this case, Stella would be her place in this story. But for her parents, I'm just picturing Hilary Duff's parents in that movie, lol, the uptight father and then her mother was more easygoing. So it's like exactly like Stella's. And I'm not entirely sure who I should be picturing appearance wise for their characters, so I just thought I'd share that, lol. And maybe ask if you were picturing other people appearance wise? Just wondering. :)
Another thing I meant to point out (and I'm thinking you probably have this planned at some point) is that I'm surprised her father hasn't found out about her relationship yet. Seeing as he seems very observant otherwise since the beginning (the house not being spotless, what Stella was doing before she met Alex), I'm surprised he hasn't found any of her excuses, off. Or for that matter, like actually didn't go as far as to following her or something (sounds very stalker-ish, but I mean, if he's that overprotective). Just some thoughts I wanted to put here, lol. Again, not sure what you have planned, so you may have something up your sleeve regarding some of my thoughts, who knows.
Great job with the update, though! Found it entertaining how her cousins had a fascination with All Time Low, lol. Maybe they may be involved with her relationship exposure. :O
Can't wait for more! :D

Kate can you at the least tell me how much I need to emotionally prepeare myself for the ending like on a scale from 1-10. 1 being you don't really have to and 10 being I hope you have tissues

While you hate writing filler chapters, it seems like it's the only thing I can do. I wish I could actually get on with my stories... Can we share and level out our abilities? :P

lol OMG. Yeah that concept is exactly why I avoid those. XD Plus I just don't see how people see Jalex as a thing; they're really good friends but not romantic with each other. XD

@Nanook omg I don't read Jalex fics either. the concept of Jalex kinda freaks me out and I have no idea why.. I tried to read one once, and it was an mpreg fic and that about did me in. I'm scarred for life.

And aww, haha, that comment probably wasn't even the best I can do either. lol. Just wait until like I'm fully awake and typing a comment. XD lol. I've been working a lot this summer so it's been difficult, but I'm glad my comment meant that much, I really try my best to leave honest feedback and try to express how I'm feeling with a story. This story is definitely one of my favs right now because again, like I said before, no one does ATL teen stories anymore and it makes me sad. But you are and that's awesome! :D Or well, with original characters anyway, there's probably plenty of Jalex ones and what not but I don't read those. lol.
But yeah, no rush, really, lol, since I've been working it may take me a minute to get to reading the new update. But I will be here. So apologies ahead of time if you update and it hits at a time when I can't get to it for a few days, but I will eventually comment again. lol.

@Nanook I've been working on chapter 26 throughout the week, so it should be up soon. I have today off from work, so hopefully I have time to work on it and get it posted. Your comments are seriously the best. I just about started crying at all the positive feedback you gave me. Thank you so much.
