Trigger warning self harm.

Jacks POV

I had this urge to go and check on Alex.
So I quietly got out of bed and went out of my room and went to the vampire dorm.
I had no idea where Alex's room was so I used my wolf senses to see if I could hear anything out of the ordinary.
I heard someone sniffing loudly so I followed this and found a room with a guard outside of it who was asleep.
"Great guarding skills." I muttered to myself and went outside and looked up and saw a room with a light on.
I looked round and saw a tree and I climbed up it and got into the room.
I looked round and saw some tissue which had blood over it and the smell of it nearly made me want to be sick since my sense was a lot more sensitive than most.
I heard more sniffing coming from the bathroom so I walked over and opened the door to see Alex on the floor with blood over himself and his arm.

Alex looked up at me.
"W..W..What you doing here?" He sniffed and looked down.
"Something told me to check on you, I'm glad I reacted to it." I said and went and got a towel and walked back over to him and knelt in front of him.
"I don't need your help." Alex growled.
"Yes you do. You know why? Because you are about to pass put from the loss of blood." I said seriously.
Alex just looked away and I saw some tears roll down his cheek.
"Hey don't cry. Its going to be okay." I said and reached my hand out and wiped his tears away.
"Nothing is going to be okay, not now." He said quietly and looked down.
"Why do you say that?" I asked as I put the towel round his arm.
"I have no one. I'm sure you heard what's happened. Everyone knows what has happened." He whispered.
"Well whatever has happened its not in the wolf dorm." I said.
Alex didn't say anything so I took the towel off and started to sort his arm out.
"This might sting a little." I said.
Alex just nodded lost in his head.
I started to wipe his arm and his hissed a little.
"I'm sorry." I said quietly and put a pad and a bandage on it.
"There you go." I said quietly.
Alex smiled a small smile of thanks.
"Come on let's get you to bed." I said and picked him up.
"Your really warm." Alex mumbled and I put him into bed and pulled the covers over him.
"Can you stay? I don't want to be alone." Alex said and sat up and looked at me.
" Sure." I said and walked over and sat on his bed and took my shoes off and climbed into bed.

Alex moved and cuddled into my side.
"Tell me what you meant earlier?" I said and looked at him.
"Before I AWOL me and my family was involved in a accident. Everyone died and I was the only one who survived." He said quietly.
"Alex I'm so sorry." I said.
"Then while everyone is getting their powers, mine aren't coming or anything. Maybe I don't have anything, maybe I'm going to be that fucked up person who doesn't have anything." He said and started to cry again.
I pulled him to my side confused about this whole power things and why he was getting so upset about it.
"They'll come, maybe your a late bloomer." I said and Alex smiled.
"Hopefully." Alex sniffed and yawned.
"Go to sleep. I'll stay here and keep you safe." I said quietly and Alex nodded as he rested his head on my chest and his arm round my waist which made me smile and once I knew Alex was asleep I went to sleep as well.
