Alex's POV

"I'm sorry I'm not going to be here when you wake up. I'll see you around Lex." Jack whispered softly and kissed the top of my head and I felt him move from my bed and walked towards the window.
After that there was silence.
I opened my eyes and looked at my arm.
"How the fuck will I explain this to Brooke." I said quietly and just lead in bed until my alarm went off.

I spent all day avoiding everyone including Brooke and Noah which wasn't like me but I needed some space.
"Alex?" I heard Brooke say from behind me as I was at my locker getting some books for my next lesson.
I stopped what I was doing and looked at her.
"Lex, talk to me please." She pretty much begged.
"I've hurt myself." I said quietly so only she heard me.
"What! Alex why didn't you come and get me?" She whispered at me.
"Because I dunno, I wanted to feel something." I said.
"Alex you know what happened the last time you did that." She said seriously.
"I was fine Brooke. Anyway for some reason Jack came and helped." I said.
"Jack? Who is Jack?" Brooke asked really confused.
"He's a wolf." I said.
"I'm not even going to ask Lex." She said and rolled her eyes at me.
"Anyway, I'll see you later." She said and hugged me which I returned.
She went her way and I went mine.

I was walking to lesson with my head down when I walked into someone.
"My God, I'm so sorry." I said and looked up and saw it was Jack which made me smile.
Jack chuckled.
"Its okay princess." He said which made me frown at him.
If anything that was one thing I kept quiet was in fact I was a royal and the only person who knew was the head and Brooke and probably Noah since Brooke tells him everything.
"Anyway, since I have you can we talk about last night?" I asked.
"Sure." Jack said and I walked over to a wall and Jack lent against it while I just stood there and hugged my books.

"Look last night, I'm really sorry I'm all over the place at the moment." I explain briefly.
"Its fine Lex. I was just happy I could help you." He said.
"Please don't tell anyone. Everyone thinks I'm a freak already, I don't need them to add more reason to add to the long list everyone has off me." I said.
"Your secret is safe with me." Jack said and I smiled.
"Jack you have lessons." Some big buff wolf said.
"Anyway, thanks Jack, I owe you." I said and walked off to my lessons.

Jacks POV

"Jack who was that?" Seth asked.
"That was Alex." I said and turned myself round and looked at him still leaning against the wall.
"Was that the person whom you sneaked out to and never came back to this morning." Seth said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes at me, I'm not your mother." Seth growled.
"Okay, yes he was the person who I sneaked out to see. Because he needed a friend." I said.
"Well I have my answer, now you need to get to lesson." Seth said.
I just groaned which made Seth chuckle.
"Do you need me to walk you to your class?" Seth asked.
"Nope, I'm good and gone." I said and walked off.
"Don't go bunking off Jack. I'll know." Seth said after me.
"Bloody wolf sense." I muttered and got to my lesson.

I was sat in the common room doing some homework because I was bored while everyone else was busy with some other crap.
"Hey Jacko." Someone called Luna said.
"Hey Luna." I said and frowned at this work.
"What you stuck on?" She asked and sat next to me.
"Transformation." I said.
"I never wrapped my head round that. In my eyes as long as you can do it it doesn't need that much studying." She said.
"Agreed." I said.
Luna sniffed.
"There's a vampire in the area." She said and got up.
I got up as well and we both shifted into wolf.

We walked round and I saw Alex.
"He's okay." I said as I knew more of the pack was hiding in the shadows.
"How do you know?" Seth growled.
I shifted back to human and walked over to Alex.
"Lex what you doing here?" I asked and touched his arm and he jumped and looked at me.
"I came looking for you." He said.
"You almost got yourself ripped to bits." Seth said as he walked over to us.
I growled and pushed Alex behind me.
"He didn't know, he was looking for me." I growled.
"Still, vampires know the rules. Their not allowed near our dorm just like we're not allowed near theirs." Seth said and glared at me.
"He didn't know Seth." I said seriously trying not to shift but it wasn't working well and I knew Seth was having the same battle.
"Alex you need to go. I'll come later to see you." I said seriously.
"But I need to talk to you." He said his voice small.
"You need to leave." Some wolf said and pushed Alex which made me shift quicker than anything.
I growled loudly at them showing my teeth as a warning.

"Jack?" Alex said quietly.
I turned round and looked at him still as a wolf.
Seth seemed to come to his senses and told everyone to leave so me and Alex was alone.
I waited until everyone was gone and I walked over to Alex who was shocked and looked like he could shit himself.
I put my head in his hand and nuzzled it.
"Your so soft. But you really do smell though Jack." He said quietly.
I just wagged my tail.
Alex smiled and I shifted back to being human.
"You wanted to talk?" I asked and Alex nodded.
"Follow me." I said and took him to my room.
