Fire in the sky.

Alex's POV

I was sat outside away from everyone and just made the most of the wind on my face and through my hair.
A crow came over and started to peck round me.
I smiled and went back to being lost in my own thoughts.

"You'll freeze out here." Someone said and I looked at the person and I had no idea who they was but by the smell of things he was a wolf.
"Don't exactly care right now." I said quietly and rolled my sleeves down.
"Well you will if you get ill." He said and sat next to me.
"Vampires don't get ill. Until you wolfs, which by the way you fucking stink." I said and the person chuckled.
"I'm Jack." He said and offered me his hand.
"Guess you know my name already, everyone knows my name." I said and looked away from him.
"Alexander am I right?" He asked.
"Alex, only my family can call me that." I said and got up.
"Where you going?" Jack asked.
"Since I went AWOL for the last 6 months I have now got house arrest for the next 2 months." I said.
"How incredibly boring for you." Jack chuckled.
"Tell me about it, and the worst thing is there's no TV. I was literally just getting into what humans watch and then the fuckers found me." I said which made Jack laugh a little.
"Who knew a vampire would like his TV soaps." He said.
"You seriously have no what you are missing." I said.
"Gaskarth!" A guard said loudly.
"Ugh." I said and rolled my eyes.
"Laters Jack." I said and turned round and went to my room.


I was sat in my room in just my pants since I refused to share a room with anyone and I was in my own company.
I was lost in thought when someone knocked on my door.
I got up and pulled a shirt on and walked towards the door and opened it.
"Figured you'd be hungry." Brooke said and I smiled and let her in.
"Thanks Brooke." I said quietly and sat back on my bed.
"How was your first day?" She asked and sat on my bed.
"Horrible. Everyone kept on looking at me and talking about me." I said and looked down.
"Your thinking about them aren't you?" Brooke asked quietly.
"How can I not, I'm on my own, I've been on my own for 6 months. " I said.
"Lex I know your finding it hard to cope with everything. You need to talk to someone about it otherwise you might hurt yourself and I can't let you do that." Brooke said.
"Well its a bit late for that. Help? I don't need fucking help, I just want my family back." I said.
Brooke sighed and moved so she was next to me and pulled me to her side.
"You can let it all out Lex. Everything is safe with me and you know it. Come on you know you want to." She said.
I just thought about all the memories and soon the tears fell.
"Its okay Lex, I've got you and I'm always here." Brooke said and kissed the side of my head and rocked herself side to side.
