Alex POV
I couldn’t believe my luck when Carlie asked me to kiss her again; I felt like such a douche when I kissed her the first time because I didn’t know how she felt and because obviously I had just met her.
After the second kiss she smiled at me and went to sit back down next to Cass and Vic. While the guys and I rehearsed I noticed Carlie laughing and talking to Cass, Vic and Tay and I felt really elated that they were getting along.
Five PM came around before we knew and Rian’s mom was coming down to let us know the time.
“Ok guys, how about instead of going for pizza and just pizza; how about we go ice skating and bowling and have the pizza there because it’s the first day of school and the first day of our blossoming friendship with one of the coolest people we have ever met Carlie. Welcome to the island of misfit toys. We never realized there was still cool people to meet until you came along. So shall we?” I suggested.
Everyone nodded at my suggestion and high fived except for Carlie.
“Carlie you ok, does that sound ok to you?” I asked her.
Everyone went quiet waiting for her answer; she looked down at her hands though and mumbled something no quite heard.
“What did you say?” I asked.
“I don’t know how to ice skate,” she replied embarrassed, a slight blush appearing in her cheeks.
“Neither does Jack, he’s like Bambi on ice,” I laughed.
Jack took a moment to realize what I had said before he turned to me and went, “HEY!”
“It’s true though,” I laughed before continuing, “I’ll help you.”
“Ok sounds fun,” Carlie smiled after a moment of thinking.
We all left Rian’s, Carlie and I in my car; I was at a loss for words so for the first couple of minutes I didn’t say anything at all, luckily Carlie broke the silence, “So that kiss earlier was something, I mean it was nice.”
“Yeah it was.... I’m sorry if I caught you off guard. I just …. I probably shouldn’t have done it, I mean I’m glad I did and I don’t regret it and ….” Carlie cut me off though from me babbling by kissing me for a third time good thing I had just stopped at a red light otherwise I would have crashed.
“Fuck it …. Go out with me Carlie and by that I mean be my girlfriend I know we have only known each other a day but, I feel like I have known you my whole life and that I can be myself around you. We can take things as fast or as slow as you want. I just feel like I have a deep connection with you. Now I’m rambling again. So will you be my girlfriend?” I rambled.
Carlie looked at me and laughed and at that moment I felt crushed until she said, “Of course I’ll be your girlfriend as long as that means I can kiss you whenever I want to.”
“Yes you can kiss me whenever you want and I can kiss you whenever I want to also,” I replied just as I parked my car at the ice rink and the bowling alley complex.
I got out of the car and walked around to Carlie, I held her hand as we walked over to our friends with a big smile on my face.
“Lex you look happy we only saw you like ten minutes ago …. OH …. Oh ok,” Cass was saying until she saw mine and Carlie’s hands interlocked.
“Ok missy you’re coming with me, Vic and Tay you’re coming too,” Cass demanded as she pulled Carlie away with Vic and Tay right behind them.
The rest of the guys just kept staring at me.
“Wow wasn’t expecting that, then again I wasn’t expecting you to kiss her either. What are you thinking Gaskarth, you said you didn’t want another relationship especially after the other one?” Rian stated.
“Carlie isn’t like Tia, she’s sweet and funny. I have a laugh with her, I’m not going to get hurt again,” I replied and then after thinking for a second I turned to the guys and said, “I don’t want her to find out about Tia either, I mean it and tell Vic, Cass and Tay the same.”
At the moment the girls and Vic who was part girl anyway came back. We were the only ones who could call Vic a girl if anyone else called him one they ended up with a busted Jaw or worse.
“Hey guys, let’s get this embarrassment over so I can whoop all your asses at bowling,” Carlie said happily.
“Bring it English girl!” Jack laughed back.
I knew how competitive he was at bowling, well this was going to be fun I thought as we all walked inside.

Aw, it's okay, take your time girl to recover. <3 Hope college is going okay, I know what it's like; currently trying to wrap up my senior year of it. But I'll still be here to read when you can write again. :)
