Perfect Boyfriend

Nyssa's POV:
"Here you go Nyssa," Alex puts my back up glasses on, I blink a few times and look up at him. "Thank you Alex," I cough a bit and he rubs my back. "Nyssa, I'm really sorry about what happened. I don't even know how my system changed, I'm set for you." "I know what happened, Claire kissed you and it reset you to her. It's all because I never kissed you or did it with you." As soon we got back, Alex wrapped my ankle, allowed me to change alone, and now we're laying in bed together. "I promise it won't happen again." "It's not all of your fault Alex... It's mainly mine." If I had just kissed Alex, none of this would have happened. "But, what made you leave Claire?" "I don't know... Before I was about go up with her to her room, I started seeing images of you from the past. And when the images went away, my ring was clear, but Claire was fine. So I knew it was for you." "What does clear mean?" Alex looks away from me, "Alex... What does clear mean.." "Clear means.. Death.." I stare at him in shock and he quickly looks at me and holds my face. "I-I-" "But I saved you Nyssa, I saved you just in time. What's important is that you're here." "And alive..."

His thumbs rubs over my bottom lip and I close my eyes. "Alex, what caused you to fully reset back to me." "I gave you CPR, but I guess my system read it as a kiss." A kiss. The second time we technically did and I wasn't conscious for it. But I can't help but wonder... And I mean.. To ensure that it will never happen again... "Alex, I'm ready," I whisper. "Are you sure?" "Yeah." "I'll count down so you're ready. Three... Two... One..." Right after he says one I feel his lips on mine. He slowly kisses me, keeping it slow and gentle, nothing crazy. Meanwhile me, I don't know what to do. I just lay here, with my mouth closed, as Alex does the work. God, why do I have to be so innocent? "You can open your eyes now Nyssa," he whispers against my lips. I open my eyes, his face is inches from mine. "I feel like a loser..." "I didn't expect you to say that, I wanted you to enjoy it. Since I'm your first." "You did a great job, but... Like you said, you're my first... I don't know anything..." "I know you're innocent Nyssa, I don't want to pressure you." "And I'm thankful for that, it's just, most people my age know how to do more than kissing."

He leans over me, one arm on one side and one of the other so that he was directly over me. "What are you saying Nyssa?" "I just kind of wish I knew more," I can feel my cheeks burning and he laughs. "Aw Nyssa, you don't need to be embarrassed." "I can't help it," I mumble. "You're so cute when you get embarrassed." I gently push on his chest and he laughs. "Well I'll be happy to teach you more." I feel my whole face get hot from that. "Alex stop," I mumble. He kisses me for real this time, not on the cheek, "well do you at least like it?" "Like what?" He kisses me slow again and slowly pulls away. "I can tell that you want more." "By the ring?" "No, you kept your lips puckered when I pulled away." I cover my face with my hands. "Do you like it Nyssa?" "Yes," I can't lie. I like it. I like how it feels and how I feel on the inside. He moves my hands and he's smiling. "We should get some sleep, you had a rough night."

Claire's POV:
Alex sits down in front of me and I glare at him. I knew he would go back to Nyssa. "What the fuck are you doing here?" "I came here to apologize. I made a promise to you and I broke it." "That's not good enough. You're just like all of the other guys from the past. You make a promise to me and then you leave me." I'm so tired of this. "I knew you would go back to Nyssa, you lied to me." "Nyssa was in danger, I had to go help her." "How did you know she was in danger?" "I left her skate boarding with a twisted ankle, part of me knew something was wrong." "She still did it with a twisted ankle?" I can't believe Nyssa would push herself that much... "Yes, and it's a good thing I got there because she was in the lake unconscious." Well... I should be thankful that he saved her... I never wanted Nyssa to die... As much I hate her, I would never wish that on her... "Well.... Good thing you left when you did then..." "How can I make it up to you Claire?" "Get up." He stands up and I get up to. I look over his body and my eyes land on his crotch. That should be a good area.

I knee his crotch hard and he automatically grabs it in pain. "Okay, now you can go." "I figured out why you come here a lot and why you go on dates. You don't want to be alone. I know you'll find someone Claire." I slowly walks out, I look out the window and I see Nyssa on crutches. Alex reaches her and she smiles up at him. I quickly look away, that's what I want. For a guy to make me smile like that. A real relationship, not a hook up. I just didn't realize it until Nyssa got a boyfriend... "Miss, are you done with your food?" I look at the server, he's always working when I'm here. He's kind of nerdy looking. I look past him and I see the paper cranes I made hanging behind the counter. I walk past him and go up to the counter. "Why are my paper cranes hanging?" "I'm sorry, but.. I love them and I couldn't help myself by saving them. I thought they would make a nice decoration for the place." I look at him and he looks away from me. "What's your name?" "Andrew. I know your usual by heart, I'm sorry if that sounds weird..."

He goes behind the counter and pretends to be busy. Whenever I show a guy my origami, they just push it aside and show no interest. But this guy... He saved my work and used it to make something else... He appreciates my work.. "Andrew... in case you didn't know, my name is Claire." He stops what he was doing and slowly looks up at me. I smile at him and hold out my hand, "Don't be shy." "I actually want to tell you something.." "What is it?" "We were in the same art classes over a year ago... I really loved your work, I thought you were the best student in our classes." He slowly grabs my hand and shakes it, but I don't let go. Andrew is different... A good different... Maybe the different I need...
