Perfect Boyfriend

Nyssa's POV:
"How does your ankle feel?" "It's getting there, I should still use the crutches though." "You're never allowed to use my boards again Nyssa." "Fine Zack." Zack and Jack were really pissed at me for stealing Zack's penny board and rode it with my twisted ankle. Alex is back working at the bar with me, and with me being on crutches our boss is having me work register. "Do you need ice Nyssa?" "I'm good Alex, but thank you." "I just want you to be able to walk as soon as possible. And when your ankle is better we can dance more." "Yeah, I can't wait to dance again. Especially for this talent night that's gonna happen after midterms." "Talent night?" "Surprise! I signed us up." He laughs and sets his arms on my shoulders. "Well I can't wait then. It should be fun, especially that I'm doing it with you." "I can't wait too." He leans down more and kisses me, I start to kiss him back. "Hey you two! Get a room!," I hear Zack say. Alex pulls away and we laugh. "You should get back to work Alex." "Alex, keep an eye on that guy at table 3," Zack tells him. "Got it. Talk to you later Nyssa."

"I see that you two are closer than before," Jack says. "Yeah. We are." Jack dries some glasses and puts them away. "Jack, thanks. For the lessons and being there for me." "No problem Nyssa." "I mean it Jack." "I know you do. It's just-" "You don't trust Alex." I had a feeling that he didn't. "Can you blame me? He gets a job at a host club, and then he dumps you for your ex best friend." I really can't blame Jack... If Alex was a normal human guy, I probably would have broken up with him. But since he's a robot, and he's under my responsibility, I had to do it. But I can't ever tell Jack that. No one can find out about Alex. "Don't look, she's here." I know who Jack is talking about. I look up and see Claire walk in with a guy. But this guy looks different from all of the guys she's dated in the past. He pulls a chair out for her and she sits down. She's smiling up at him, actually smiling, not a fake one. "I wonder who that guy is." "I don't know... But he seems different from the guys in the past." I get up off of the stool and grab my crutches. "Nyssa, what are you doing?" "I'll be fine Jack, I just want to get their order."

I grab one of the note pads and pens and make my way over to their table. "Hi, tonight I'll be taking your order. And as you can see, I won't be doing anything else." Claire looks up at me shocked, her eyes down and I know she's staring at my ankle. "Why are you working with your ankle like that?" "I'm fine, I'm mainly working register. But I wanted to get up and move around a bit from sitting for so long." Mainly I wanted to see who this guy is. He pushes his glasses up, "I'll be nice and order now. Is that okay Claire? I'll feel bad if she has to come back." "Um, that's fine Andrew." "I'll have a Coke, basket of fries for us to split, and the sliders." "I'll have the same actually." I know that's Claire's favorite meal here, and it looks like Andrew likes it as well. I write their order down, "thank you. I'll pass this on. I hope you enjoy your meal." I make my way back to the bar and take a seat on the stool. "Can you take this to the kitchen Jack?" "Yeah." He takes the notepad from me and goes to the kitchen.

I watch them for a bit, he seems really nice, and was one of the first guys to be considerate for me while working here. I can tell he's making Claire laugh and I smile to myself. It looks like Claire has finally found the right guy for her.

*A week later*
"Alex stop!," I squeal and laugh. Alex loves tickling me. "No way! I've been waiting to do this!" He keeps tickling me, "Alex! If you stop! I'll kiss you!" He stops, flips me onto my back, and gets over me. "Whoa!" I was not expecting that, and he did it fast. He smiles down at me, "you said my favorite words recently." "I-I'm just trying to figure out how." I've never made the first move, it was always Alex. Alex is wearing a black dress shirt with a purple tie, and skinny jeans. I look at his tie and look at his face. "Alex, why did you decide to dress that way?" "Because I want to take you out tonight, since your ankle is better now." "That's really sweet of you." "But are you going to kiss me?" I look back at his tie and grab it. Okay. You can do this. You can't let Alex always make the first move. I pull on his tie and he gives me a questioning look. "Come down when I pull." I pull on it again and he leans down. "I dare you to pull on it again." I pull on it again and this gets him down enough for his lips to touch mine.

He slowly kisses me, as he always does. I slowly kiss him back and I let go of his tie. Without thinking, I wrap my arms around his neck. I think I'm doing this right.. I feel his hands on my waist and he rubs a bit. Oh god oh god oh god, what am I feeling? I think I like what he's doing.... This is the most we've ever done, this is all new. Alex is taking things slow, which I'm thankful for. I slowly unwrap my arms around his neck and I let my hands slide down from his neck to his chest. He licks my lower lip and I grip his shirt. Okay that's new. He licks again, his hands continue to rub, and I grip his shirt more. Why does Alex keep doing that? I pull away and I finally open my eyes. "Why do you keep doing that?" "Let me do it again and open your mouth to find out," he whispers in my ear. Oh god oh god oh god! I close my eyes and he kisses me. He licks my lower lip and I slowly open my mouth, I feel his tongue go in my mouth and I squeal into the kiss. I let go of his shirt with one hand and grip his tie. Am I even kissing him correctly now!? But at the same time I think I like it.

I push on his chest and he stops. I open my eyes, and I realize how hard I'm breathing. "Are you okay Nyssa?" "Too many new things at once," I breathe. "I'm sorry, you seemed comfortable with it, I should have realized that I went to fast." "No no, it's fine. I just need to get used to it. Also, I don't even know if I was kissing you right and I don't even know what you were doing." I lightly pull on my two braids and groan. "Why do I have to be so innocent Alex," I groan. "It's okay Nyssa. We should get going anyway for dinner." "Yeah, I'm hungry." We get off my bed and we put our shoes on. We walk out holding hands and get downstairs. "Hello you two!," I hear Rian yell. Something covers my eyes, I try to take it off but I can't. "Rian, what did you just put on her?" "She's okay Alex, it's only glasses that doesn't allow her to see. Whoa whoa whoa, please put me down. I'm doing this because we're taking you two on a trip. The place is owned by the company, it's top secret, and I can't allow Nyssa to know the location." "A trip!?" "Yes! We have collected more data recently, and we want to help you two get into the mood. We think because you two are stuck here, with others around you and distractions, that it's not helping the mood. So this is our treat to you!?" "Are you trying to get me do it with him!?" "Well that's your choice! Alex, go pack the bags and meet us in the van. Nyssa, come with me."

Rian helps me into the van and he buckles me in. "Where are we going exactly?" "An island. You'll love it." I try to take the glasses off but it's no use. "Alex, what's that big bag for?" "Just reasons. I've got everything." That was quick. I feel someone sit down next to me and their arm wraps around me. I'm guessing it's Alex. "And we're off!"
