The Experts Say I'm Delirious
"What do you think of that?"
Jack was awoken from a fist pounding on his front door. He didn’t even realize that he had fallen asleep. The lanky man was currently lying on the couch with an arm hanging off the side and the other underneath the pillow. He looked down to find Alesia watching cartoons. He knew what that meant. He had fallen asleep with Alesia in his arms as they watched Supernatural. The girl was now not in his arms and watching Adventure Time. Yes, the real Alesia liked Adventure Time, but she wouldn’t be so into it like the girl in front of him was. She also would still be in his arms.
He pulled his body up, cracked his back, and made his way over to the door. Jack opened it to find Alex. He walked past Jack and into the living room. Who did he think he was just waltzing into the Lebanese man’s place. Oh yeah. He was Alex fucking Gaskarth aka: Jack’s best friend.
“What’s up?” Jack yawned as he followed his friend.
“I was thinking that we should have practice today. I texted you last night, but you didn’t respond, so I decided to come over today,” Alex answered. He sat down next to Alesia Aly. He tapped her shoulder. She turned to face him. “Do you want to watch us practice.”
She excitedly nodded. “That would be awesome. I loved watching Plushie jumping around!”
“Well we are going to practice today then.”
“Yay! Just let me get dressed!” She got up and quickly ran out of the room.
Alex stood back up and sat on the couch as Jack did the same thing. “Why was she wearing one of your shirts and no pants, and why are you just wearing boxers? I thought that was a no-no for her.”
“Actually, I have to talk to you about that,” Jack awkwardly laughed.
“Why? What happened?”
“I, um, I slept with her.”
“You what!?”
“It’s not what you think though. I...I think we made love. I mean it started with lust and Echo, but then the real Alesia came and it was different. It had meaning.”
“Wait. What do you mean by the real Alesia?”
“The girl that we’ve known as Alesia is actually Aly. Aly is just another of her personalities.”
“So the childish one and the perv one are both personalities of the real thing?”
“Yeah.”
“Wow. I seriously never thought that you’d be trying to get with a girl as complicated as her.”
“Actually, I’m not trying to be in a relationship with her anymore.”
“Wait. Seriously!? You and her?”
“I asked her after she told me what happened to her. Do you remember when I found that girl on the beach who lost her family and went deaf?”
“That was her?” Jack nodded. “Holy shit. I can’t believe it. I never thought that you’d even see her again let alone date her.”
“Oh, there is something I want you to help me with. Tomorrow is her birthday. I want you to help me throw her a surprise party.”
“Sure. I’ll even ask Rian and Zack to help. Just make me your best man at your wedding.”
Jack chuckled. “Deal.”
“I’m ready!” Aly exclaimed as she made her dramatic entrance.
“Just let me get dressed. It won’t take long,” Jack told her.
“Ok!” Jack walked out of the room as Aly plopped down on the couch. “Hi Beanie.”
“Hi Aly.”
“Hey, you know my name!”
“Jack told me. I can’t believe that you’re the same girl as the one that he saved.”
“I can barely believe it myself. We thought that we would never see him again.”
“I also heard that you guys are dating too. What do you think of that?”
“It’s cool. I’m not going to be the one to kiss him though. I think I know how this relationship with work.”
“How?”
“I will be the one that Jack cuddles with and acts like a goofball with. Alesia will be the one to go on actual dates with him and kisses. She’ll probably go ‘all the way’ with him, but she’ll do it in a passionate way. Echo will be the one to do all that adult stuff with him.”
“So, you can switch that easily?”
“Kind of. If Alesia wants to, she can.”
“That’s cool.”
“I’m ready!” Jack exclaimed with the same entrance as Aly.
“Well then,” Alex said putting his hands together, “time to practice.”

Yep. I made the fist chapter 12 pages because I'm adding a bunch of stuff. The second is 10, but it's not the second chapter of this story. It's actually her just getting her stuff and having the guy character (his name is Elijah) driving her to his place. I did the same with another one that I started writing, but I haven't finished the finally copy yet. The rough draft has been done, but I only have four and a half chapters done because I'm adding more stuff.
The main difference would be that they do call her Aly in the begining because I found a way to work with it and the chapter where Alesia reveals herself, she has nightmares, and Elijah has a backstory that is also going to be a book. That, and I don't know what to call it yet because it will have a different name.
