Jack

Shit, shit, shit, shit, fuck, shit, fuck. I completely fucked everything and now I had to come up with something to say. Something to do. I had to think quick, I had to think on my feet. I knew I shouldn't have said that, I should've known he wasn't asleep. I just should've kept my stupid mouth shut. I looked down at my phone clock, I had my excuse.

"I have to go, it's bus call. There's an extra key in the cupboard, it's hanging on the door. I'll be back by Friday at the latest. I didn't get a chance to do groceries so you can take money from the jar in the kitchen. Bye," I said, rushing out of the apartment.

"Jack," Alex called out right before I slammed the door.

I had gotten really good at running from all of my problems. That was all I really did anymore. I had gotten good at escaping from my problems. If only for three days it was enough. I walked outside and to the Walmart where the bus was waiting. I climbed on it with ease and was quickly greeted by the smell of alcohol.

"Jacky," Brian called, scooping me into a hug.

"Syn, you're drunk," I laughed.

"And you're not."

I laughed, taking a beer from the fridge. I drank some, it was really nice. Maybe getting drunk would take my mind off of the whole situation. It might actually be better to tell someone though. I didn't want everyone to know so I wasn't going to tell Syn or Jimmy. Johnny was too quiet so I wouldn't be sure if he was listening. That left Matt.

"Hey Matt, you sober enough to talk," I asked.

"Sure Jacky, what's up," he asked.

"Privately."

We walked to the back lounge which was empty due to the party that was going on in the front of the bus. I sat on the couch and put my head in my hands. I was such a fuck up. I was really good at screwing not up, not only by saying the truth but then running from it.

"Jack, what's up," he asked.

"I fucked up M," I answered.

"How did you fuck up?"

"So, you know the pink haired guy I ran into at the bar that I was talking to?"

"Yeah, what about him?"

"Remember me talking about Alex?"

"Yeah...?"

"That was him. He lives with me now."

"Where's the screw up in this Jay?"

"Please don't call me that first off. Secondly I accidently told him I still loved him."

Notes

Jack just ran away from his problems, tsk tsk. I wrote this while watching Cabin In The Woods (not really my thing, not a huge fan) and sorry it's kind of short. I won't be able to update for a few days, I'm going to be camping. How is Alex going to react to all this?
