Alex is pretty certain that the only thing that was keeping him alive anymore was Jack and the rest of their friends.

The group were out at Taco Bell because seriously, who doesn't like tacos?

Alex was sat in Jacks lap and the two were sharing a coke. Cassadee was across from the seated beside Rian and Zack, not wanting to be kicked in the face by Alex, had pulled up an extra chair and was at the end of the table, lazily picking at his Mexican pizza.

"Baby." Jack whispered in Alex's ear, alerting the elder.

"Hmm?" Alex let out, causing Jack to smile because Alex was seriously the cutest thing ever.

"I love you." Jack said, warm breath floating over Alex's cool skin and making him shiver as goosebumps rose, making Jack chuckle and pat the elders thigh, tracing invisible patterns through the fabric of his jeans.

"Ass." Alex grumbled, shifting in Jacks lap. "But I love you too."

"What was that I heard? You love him, Alex?" Rian chuckled, smirking at the elder boy and making him blush and bury his head in Jacks neck.

"Shut up Rian." Alex grumbled, making the table erupt with bits of laughter. Alex raised his head just in time to catch one of the workers looking at their group and smiling.

It was when the front doors of Taco Bell opened and Alex noticed a dark figure with tattoos and equally as dark hair enter the small restaurant followed by his usual group of goons.

Ronnie.

Alex froze, eyes going wide as his bully walked across the floor, oblivious to Alex and his group of friends so far and began to order his meal from the cashier.

Jack, being the elders best friend and also having the boy in his lap, sensed Alex's nervousness and immediately reacted, cupping the boys cheek in his hand and forcing his gaze into Jack, whispering him to keep his breathing calm.

Jack and the group hadn't noticed Ronnie walk in, yet but when Alex let out a whimper of the boys name, the group as a whole froze and tensed.

Jack pulled the elder closer into his chest, keeping his eyes covered from the boy who torments him at school.

Rian had wrapped his arm around Cassadee and she was tucked into his side while Zack, being the bigger of the group, remained calm and waited for something, if anything, to happen.

Alex thought he was going to get off scorch free because he got glimpses of Ronnie and his gang crowding around one of the sauce tables that Taco Bell had. The group had handfuls of sauces in each of their hands and were tossing them at one another, waiting for their order.

Alex raised his head just a bit more and that was when one of Ronnie's closest 'friends' raised his too, catching Alex's gaze dead on and a smirk broke out on his face automatically as he patted Ronnie on the shoulder and pointed at Alex and his friends.

When Ronnie turned his gaze to Alex, the boys breathing quickened automatically and he clutched onto Jack, gasping for air as the bully and his friends approached the smaller group.

"Well well well, what do we have here? The faggot and his friends?" Ronnie said, walking up behind Zack, placing his hands on the back of his chair, Alex watching as Zack tensed, his jaw setting.

"R-Ronnie, why don't y-you just leave me alone?" Alex stuttered, cuddling closer to Jack. The younger wrapped his arms around him completely, their bodies pressed together, almost becoming one.

"Now, what fun would that do for me and my boys, Alex?" Ronnie said.

"Seriously, Ronnie, leave him alone." Jack said, stroking the side of Alex's thigh with his thumb.

Ronnie's gaze shifted from Alex to the boys lap he was still sitting on. "Fuck off Barakat. Who are you his boyfriend?"

"Yes." Jack said, body tensing more as he shifted Alex in his lap once again. "He's mine and if you lay a fucking finger on him I swear to god I'll-"

"You'll what? You're nothing but a pussy, just like the little bitch that's sitting in your lap."

"I'll tell the entire school that the only reason why you pick on Alex is because you wanted to sleep with him and he turned you down. Although, I wouldn't blame him. With a small dick like yours." Jack growled, actually scaring Alex for a second because he'd never thought Jack would be the one out of all of their friends to stand up to Ronnie like that.

Ronnie smirked, crossing his arms over his chest before answering. "Nice try Baratwat, but the school is run by me. They wouldn't believe you. Especially with a lie like that."

"Oh you didn't let me finish. Not only would I say that but I'd let that nice picture I have of you getting your dick sucked by that kid, what's his name? Oh yeah, your boy Jack V over there, yeah I'd let the picture float around school, start off by sending it to the popular people, then I'll print it off and hang it up so that everywhere you look, all you'll see is that."

Ronnie opened his mouth, then closed it. Alex wasn't sure what would happen next and was actually expecting Ronnie to start a fight because Alex didn't know if he actually had a picture but whatever. All Ronnie did though was glare at the younger. "You better watch your back Barakat. You too Gaskarth."

Ronnie walked away after that, his friends following his every move, the one that everyone called J-V or just Jacky, had his head ducked down in shame and embarrassment.

Alex turned to Jack once the group was out of earshot. "Do you actually have a picture?"

Jack smirked, kissing Alex's cheek. "No, but after seeing their faces when I said that, I don't need a picture."

"You're bad Jack Barakat." Alex giggled, kissing Jack on the lips quickly.

"Only for you baby."

After the incident with Ronnie, everything went back to normal and the group fell back into conversation about this and that, Alex say there, laughing and chuckling when need be but only letting one word that Jack had said to Ronnie ring throughout his head.

Boyfriend.

Aye. Ronnie's an asshole but he's a hypocrite. Sorry these updates are taking me forever and the chapters are short but I'm still trying to get back into the habit of writing regularly. So hopefully I should have a schedule for my writing soon and I should start updating more frequently. Thanks so much for all of the positive feedback I've gotten so far. It really motivates me personally and as a writer. I love you all c: and hopefully this chapter isn't that sucky and stupid. They'll get longer and better soon I promise.
