I woke with a huge smile. Alex and I kissed for a bit longer but then we heard someone walking down the hallway so we had to stop and he left. I brought his breakfast into his empty room and set it on the table. I turned to leave when,
“Where do you think you’re going?” Asked a smug voice. I could hear the smirk on his face. I turned to see Alex leaning against one of his bed posts.
“To prepare my master.” I replied.
“God I love it when you call me that.” He said breathlessly, walking up to me and pulling on the top of my tunic. I smirked and connected our lips. He smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around me and I in turn, moved my hands up to his hair and lightly tugged. He let out a moan that was so fucking sexy, it sounded strangled soI could tell he was trying to hold it back. I smirked against his lips, “Oh don’t get cocky.” He spoke against my lips before roughly backing us up to the wall causing me to be pushed against it. I’ll admit a bit of fear flared in my chest, I knew it was Alex and he wouldn’t do anything to hurt me but still. After years of rape, your fears develop a mind of their own. I subconsciously whimpered and I didn’t know the sound had been audible until Alex was looking at me with sad eyes. “I’m so sorry baby you know I’ll never do anything you’re not comfortable with right?”
“I know, I’m sorry. It had been for just so long…” I trailed off. Alex gave me a sweet chaste kiss that made my heart flutter.
“You have nothing to be sorry for.” He whispered.

All my duties had been fulfilled and I was laying on my bed reading, I’d gotten pretty good I could read and there would only be a few words I didn’t recognize like the word debacle I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion when suddenly there was a knock at my door.
“Come in.” I answered. The door creaked open and a young girl who was probably about sixteen answered.
“The Prince wishes to see you.” She informed, looking slightly nervous. I bit back the smile at the thought of seeing him again and thanked her. I walked briskly and the second I knocked on the door, Alex answered. His grin grew at seeing me and he pulled me in, greeting me with a kiss.
“Well if this is how you’ll greet me then I should come by more often.” I smiled when he released me. He laughed and pulled me to his bed. He lay down and pulled me into his chest. I melted into his touch and listened to his heartbeat. It was steady and unfaltering. Then I realized how bad it would look if someone came barging in so I raised my voice,
“Hey Alex?”
“Hmm?”
“Is the door locked?”
“Yes” He answered sadly.
“Okay.” I replied, unsure of what to say.
“I don’t like hiding.” He said blatantly.
“Me neither.” I replied.
“When I’m king, I’m going to make homosexuality legal.” He said.
“Really?” I asked.
“Yeah.” He replied, holding me closer. I smiled into his chest and lay there, his heart beat ringing in my ears.
