Kiss Me Again

Ever since Alex and I got back together a few days ago, everything has been perfect.
I don't have to be alone at school anymore; I can laugh and hang out with all my friends, again. I started eating again, at least a little bit. Alex has been helping me with that, just like he did before. I claim that I'm being a burden to him, but then he just kisses me and tells me he could never ever get tired of me. I feel the same about him.
I moved out of Barbara's house once again, which is really a relief. Alex's stepmom, Janet, is living with us now, and she's really nice. She's just as sweet as Alex described her.
My life has completely come back into place, and I'm glad I didn't end it before it did. But I only have Alex to thank for that. He's my knight in shining armor; he saved my life.
And there is no better feeling than coming home to the green-colored sheets of his comfy, unmade bed.
In fact, that's where we are right now; lazily enjoying our Saturday, together.
My small body was laying on top of his, while tracing his bare collarbones with my finger.
"Has anyone ever told you, you look really hot in my clothes?" He smirked at me, causing me to roll my eyes.
I was only wearing a pair of underwear, and one of Alex's shirts, which were quite large on me. I had a sense of comfort, wearing his clothes. They smell like him, and it makes me happy. It's like I'm wearing a hug from Alex.
"Uh..actually, you know what? I think you're the only person who's ever given me that very compliment, but thank you." I smirked sarcastically, causing him to laugh.
"Don't get all smart with me, Mrs. Gaskarth. Or else." He gave me a challenging look.
"Or else..what?" I cocked my head to the side, and raised my eyebrows.
"Or else, I'll have to show you who's boss." He smirked, flipping us over, and hovering over me.
"Oh no! Have mercy on me, Mr. Gaskarth!" I joked, with a dramatic look on my face.
"Nuh uh." He shook his head, before going into the attack; tickling my sides with his fingers.
"ALEX! ST-STOP! PLEASE!! HAHAHA..OH MY GOSH A-ALEX!!" I laughed uncontrollably, begging him to stop the torture.
"NO MERCY!!" He laughed, still attacking my sides and stomach.
"A-ALEX!! PLEASE! M-MY STOMACH..OUCH..HA! STOOPPPP!!" My stomach was starting to hurt now.
"Okay, okay! Fine!" He stopped the tickle attack, but took my hands and pinned them over my head.
"But..I want you to admit that I am the winner, which makes me the king, and you must bow to me." He said with a smug look on his face.
He's literally such a kid.
"Yes, your royal highness. I'd curtsey, but..you see, I'm a little tied down, here." I rolled my eyes, jokingly.
"Okay, I shall let thy go. But..under one other condition."
"And what would that be?" I sigh dramatically, giving him a fake annoyed look.
"Hmm...say that I'm the most sexiest guy you've ever met."
I rolled my eyes at this.
"Hm..I don't know, King Alexander. Your friends are pretty sexy.."
"I'm sorry, what was that??" He narrowed his eyes at me, causing me to burst into laughter.
"I'm kidding, there's no worries. You're nothing but pure perfection."
He chuckled, and let go of his grasp on my hands.
"You're the one who's perfect, my beautiful queen." He smiled, leaning down to kiss my nose, then my cheeks, then my lips.
After letting the kiss linger for a moment, he pulled away, and laid down beside me.
He reached his arm over me, and started twirling his fingers in my hair, while planting kisses on my cheek and neck.
I sighed in content, happy to be wrapped in his warm, comforting embrace.
"Baby?" I mumbled, resting my hands on his arm.
"Mmm?" He hummed, while nuzzling his face in my neck.
"It feels good to be home."
He pulled back a little, to smile at me.
"Yeah. This is your home now...permanently, this time. Well..at least until we graduate next month. Then, we can move into our own place." He grinned, giving me a peck on the nose.
"Oh my gosh, that's gonna be so exciting, babe! Starting our new life together as adults and everything! Wow." I squealed a little with happiness, thinking about sharing my future with Alex for the rest of my life.
He laughed at my enthusiasm, and kissed my cheek.
"We could live anywhere you want. Where do you wanna go?"
I thought for a second.
"I don't care where we go." I shrugged.
"Really? No girly fantasies about living in a mansion with your rich husband in L.A.?" he teased.
"Nah. Doesn't matter. I'll have my super hot rockstar boyfriend, and I'll be spending most of my time on tour with him, cheering him on every night." I smirked, pecking him on the lips, causing him to blush.
"Well I'd hope you'd always be at every show, so you can listen to all the songs about you."
Now it was my turn to blush.
"Uhuh. I'll be there, you can count on it."
"Good. Now back to the question, babe. Where do you wanna be?"
"I honestly dunno yet, Alex. Call me cheesy, but I just wanna be with you. Home is where the Alex is." I crawled back on top of him, and snuggled closer against his chest.
"Uhm..I believe the expression is, home is where the heart is?" He chuckled.
"Uhuh. And you have it. Riiiight here." I giggled a bit, pointing my finger on his chest.
"Well aren't you adorable." He rolled his eyes and grinned.
"I believe I am." I smirked.
"I believe it, too."
"I love you."
"I love you."
"No, I love you."
"Well I love you, more."
"No you don't."
"Yes I do."
"Do not."
"Do too!"
Ever since I confessed my love for Alex, we just haven't been able to stop saying it to each other. We both end up blushing like mad, and smiling like idiots, but it doesn't matter. We find each other adorable.
"Oh, you do?"
"Yup."
"Prove it."
Alex thought for a second.
"Well how bout..I love you SO much, that I'm asking you to go to prom with me."
I blinked a few times.
"Wait, what?"
"Go to prom with me, beautiful. And in case this little proposal isn't enough, I have a back-up plan."
It was enough, but I was curious as to what that whole "back-up plan" was.
"And what's that?" I asked, raising a brow at him.
"Come're." He got up out of the bed, and I followed him.
He went over to his closet, and pulled out shiny gift bag, with wrapping tissue stuffed inside. He handed the bag to me, and I gave him a skeptical look.
"Go on, open it." He motioned towards the bag, with his head.
I looked back down at it, and reached my hand in it. The first thing I felt, was a piece of paper. I pulled it out, and my eyes began to sting with happy tears, as I read the slip of paper.

When I wake up,

I remembered reading these lyrics a long time ago, but I didn't appreciate it as much as I should've. This is actually one of the most cutest, most sweetest things ever written, and it warmed my heart to know that Alex had written it for me.
"Whoa, don't start crying yet! There's more!" He chuckled, walking up behind me, and wrapping his arms around my waist.
I reached in and took out a small, dark blue, box. I grinned, and opened it up with a gasp.
It was a shiny, heart-shaped locket, hanging on a long, silver chain.
I held it up out of the box, and gasped again, at it's beauty.
"Open it." Alex whispered in my ear.
I opened up the locket, to see a small, heart shaped version, of one of the pictures we took at the beach house. I was grinning wide at the camera, while Alex was smiling and nuzzling my face with his nose.
I couldn't hold my tears in any longer. I was just so overwhelmed with love for Alex, and this beautiful present.
He wrapped his arms tighter around me, and kissed my cheek.
"C-could you put it on me? I wanna see how it looks." I sniffles, handing him the necklace.
"Sure, babe."
I lifted my hair up, while he wrapped the necklace around my neck, and fastened it on for me.
I looked at us in his mirror, and we looked absolutely photo-worthy. I think he thought so too, because he pulled out his phone, and aimed the camera at the mirror.
"Say cheese."
He both smiled, as he snapped the perfect photo.
"Definitely posting that later." He chuckled, putting his phone away, as I turned around in his arms.
"So..whaddaya say? Be my prom date?" He grinned down at me, wiping the tears from my face with his thumbs.
"Of course, silly! You really didn't have to do all this.."
"But I wanted to." He said, cupping my chin with his hand, and tilting my head up to connect his lips with mine.
"I wanna prove to you how much I love you." He smiled, pulling away from the kiss.
"I love you to the moon and back, Alex. No matter what you do. But thank you for this..really. I love it so so fucking much!" I grinned, wrapping my arms around his neck, and pulling him into a hug.
"I'm glad you like it." He whispered, smiling into my shoulder.
"I love it. Never taking it off." I said into his chest, causing him to laugh.
"Whatever makes you happy, love." He rolled his eyes, jokingly.
"You do."
"Good. It's my job."
"Well...you're good at it."
"Well...I love you."
"Well...I love you more."
"Lie."
"Truth."
"Fuck you."
"Fuck you, too."
We both smiled at each other, and leaned in for a loving kiss.

Hello, friends. I'm sorry if my updates start getting a bit slower, I've started pre-writing chapters for my new fic, and I suck at multitasking soooo yeah. And on top of that, anxiety has been kicking my ass this week. It's like I can't do anything without obsessively worrying about everything I do!! & Then I can't focus, either. It's like taking over my life, and I can't stand it! Just- UGGHHHH!!! *dying whale noises of frustration*

But, you guys have succeeded in cheering me up, big time. Your happy comments made me smile so hard my face started hurting xD You guys are great, I love you all & I hope this chapter is good enough for you :3
