Everything's Magic

"It's getting pretty late." Alex sighed, his nose rubbing against Jack's neck.

Alex was curled into Jack's side, his hands around his waist while Jack held him.

Jack looked down at Alex, giving him smile.

"You could always stay the night?" Jack suggested,maybe sounding a little eager. He wanted Alex to stay, though. He was in a really touchy mood where all he wanted to do was cuddle. If Alex leaves, then Jack just might cry into a pillow.

"Um, if that's alright with you?" Alex sounded a little off, if was because of the alcohol, or that he felt nervous about staying at Jack's, he didn't know.

He watched Jack nod and pulled his phone out from his jean pocket with difficulty. He texted his mum, telling her that he'd be staying at a friend's house. He made sure it sent before looking back up at Jack.

He was biting on his bottom lip, his eyes glued on the table in front of him. Alex looked at him with a worried expression and scooted up to his side more.

"I just texted my mum I'm staying out." He informed, yawning shortly after. Jack's head snapped to Alex, being brought out his weird daze.

"Oh." Was all he said, before looking back at the table. He felt really emotional all of a sudden, but he had no idea what triggered it. All he wanted to do was spill his heart out and cry.

Alex frowned at him, noticing the various of mood changes, and placed his hand on top of Jack's. Jack turned to Alex, a sad look on his face as he turned his hand and intertwined their fingers.

Alex gave his hand a light squeeze, silently telling him that he knew something was up, and he wanted to know. But Jack wasn't digging it, so he decided to form the silence into words.

"Jack, something bothering you?" He asked, his voice smooth and calm. This made Jack's belly warm, and he felt comforted- something he hasn't felt in a long time.

"No," He took a breath that turned into a sigh, "yeah." He ducked his head, staring down at his knees.

"What's wrong, Jack?" Alex asked, his other hand rubbing Jack's knee softly. Jack just shook his head, letting out a breath. Alex removed his hand from Jack's, moving up to cup Jack's cheek. He slowly made Jack look at him, his finger tips in Jack's hair. He took a deep breath himself.

"What's wrong." He repeated himself, his thumb running over Jack's skin.

"I-I just miss-" He took another breath, and Alex knew his heart was beating in his chest. "I miss comfort." He finally said, and Alex's hand dropped down to Jack's chest, feeling his heart gallop in his chest. It was beating so fast. He gave him a look to continue.

"I hate being alone. W-When my parents first left this house and gave it to me, I-I thought it was really cool. I would have parties and everything, but then I got bored of them. I had fewer people over, and then I would have no one over. I just- I miss the warm feeling inside when someone gives me a hug, or any form of contact. I miss being loved. It's so lonely here by myself." He looked like he was about to cry, so Alex brought him into a hug. All Jack needed was a hug. A nice, warm hug.

"I'm here, Jack. Whenever you need comfort or love, I'll be here, okay? I'm really sorry." Alex rubbed his fingers up and down Jack's back. Jack let tears roll down his eyes and held onto Alex tighter, moving his head into the crook of Alex's neck.

"I-I don't e-even deserve it," He sobbed. Alex has never seen Jack like this; he seemed too happy. The "popular" kid was sad and missed comfort.

"I don't even deserve this hug. I-I've used you before, I'm horrible." And it hurt Alex that Jack had openly admitted he had used him. But he didn't let it get to him, as his main priority was to give Jack all that he has been wanting all along.

"You deserve a lot, Jack. You're a really great person. You're not horrible, that was in the past, right?" He felt Jack nod against his neck.

"But I still shouldn't have used you to get off, I mean, I've probably fucked up your emotions so many times. I knew you had feelings so me, and I was a fuck up." He seemed to be crying more.

Alex sighed, rubbing Jack's back. He didn't want to be reminded that Jack had used him.

"It's okay. Shh." Alex tried his best to comfort the boy in his arms, kissing his hair.

Ten minutes later, and Jack finally calmed down, but didn't let go of Alex. He wanted to stay in his arms for entity, just hold onto him and relax at the warmth from their bodies.

"Alex, sleep with me." Jack slurred just the slightest, looking up at Alex. He hiccuped and a laugh came out his mouth.

"By that, I assume you mean cuddling in bed?" Jack nodded, and Alex grinned at his cuteness.

"Of course I will, darling." He kissed Jack on the cheek, locking their fingers together as he helped Jack get up. He wasn't too intoxicated, but he was still shaken up.

After searching room through room, Alex finally found Jack's. Switching the light on so they don't trip, Alex walks Jack to bed, bringing the covers down. Jack gets into bed by himself. Alex scans the floor to see if its clear, and goes to turn the light off.

He luckily made it to Jack's bed without tripping over anything.

Jack instantly curls into his side, his breath against his neck. Alex kissed Jack's head, smiling with adoration. He rests his head on top of Jack's, closing his eyes as he mumbled goodnight.

Jack was fast asleep.

I should be sleeping right now, but who goes to sleep early when you can have more fun staying up until the sun rises?

This is kinda short, but I really wanted to update this story, so yeaah :p

I kinda want this to end tragically, but I also want it to end with a happy ending. Wot do.
