Time Bomb

The months had passed and I was quite literally as big as a house. Mack and I were standing in Rian’s front yard waiting on that bus to pull up and give me my mans back, I looked over at Mack who was bouncing just as much as I was. She had a plan to attack Jack as soon as he got off that bus, her divorce was final and she was free to kiss him out in the open if she pleased.
I heard the squeals of the breaks and my heart started jumping, I saw the bus round the corner and I looked over at Mack, her eyes were lit up like a tree on Christmas morning. The bus stopped in front of the house and I saw Alex physically push the guys out of the way to get off the bus. He sprinted to me and wrapped me in his arms like he hadn’t seen me in years.
“Oh I missed you.” He said crying
“I missed you so much.” I sobbed.
He gripped me tighter and then pushed me away from him.
“Look at his fucking belly.” He said
He knelt down onto the grass and put a hand on either side of my belly and kissed the center, she gave him a good kick and he smiled.
“She knows her daddy is home.” I said
“I love you so much.” He whispered to my belly.
She went nuts in there kicking around, it felt so weird to have something moving in my belly.
“And…” He said looking up at me.
He grabbed my face and put his nose against mine.
“I love you so much as well.” He said
I smiled and he kissed me softly and I looked over at Mack and Jack.
“Look.” I said
He looked back and smiled.
“Her divorce got finalized last month.” I said
“NO WAY!” Jack yelled
I watched as the new love set in, he scooped her up into his arms and spun her in a circle.
“We can be out in public.” Mack smiled.
He kissed her long and rough.
“New love.” I smiled.
“Our love is new every time I see you.” Alex whispered.
I smiled and he looked at me.
“Are you ready to go home?” I asked
“Beyond.” He smiled.
“Okay guys, Lex and I are out. Jack and Mackenzie… don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” I smiled.
“That’s not much.” Jack laughed.
“Fuck you Barakat.” I said
He smiled at me and Alex grabbed his and my stuff from the bus and stuffed it into the back of the SUV.
“Okay so the land lady called.” I said
“She called me as well, and I was thinking. I was looking on line and I found the perfect house, it’s only ten minutes away from Jack’s house.” He said
“Oh?” I asked
“Yes, and it’s ours now.” He said
“Excuse me?” I asked
“I called and got it, she faxed me some papers, I signed them and faxed them back. I had Mack go look at it for me, she said it was perfect and that’d you’d love it.” He said
“We have a house?” I asked
“We have a house… and Two weeks to get out of my shoe box.” He said
“Good thing Mack told me about it and I have already started packing.” I laughed.
“That little liar, she told me she wouldn’t tell.” He said
“She felt bad because I was stressing about your lease being up soon and us having nowhere to go. So she told me.” I said
He nodded and I smiled.
When we got to the apartment complex we rode the elevator all of the way up and dragged the bags in front of our door. I just knew Baltimore was going to ambush him, he was really missing his daddy too. Alex unlocked the door and I heard the whipping sound of our dogs tail against some boxes, Alex opened the door and stepped in; that’s when he charged. Alex fell to the floor and let Balt lick all over his face telling him how much he missed him too, when Balt was done he walked away and laid down on the couch.
“You’ve done a lot.” Alex said setting the bags down
“Mack and Anette helped.” I said
“How much help can Anette be?” Alex asked
“Not very.” I smiled
He laughed and took my hand after relocking the door, he dragged me to the bathroom and shut the door.
His hands found mine, pinning me up against the door. I smiled up at him and he smashed his face to mine, I bit down on his bottom lip causing him to give me a low growl.
“Are wee frustrated?” I asked
He nodded.
“Well let me give you a little welcome home gift.” I said licking my lips.
I was weary to have sex this far into my pregnancy, I was due in a few weeks.
He looked at me as I walked away from him and started the shower. He dropped all of his close as I shimmied out of my dress, he hopped into the shower before I even got my bra off. I stepped into the shower and he was already standing at attention, I smiled at him and kissed in and slowly sank down to my knees. I took him into my mouth and he let out a loud groan. I smiled to myself and he just put his hands into my hair. I hummed causing the vibrations of my throat to send him into a loud moan.
When he finished into my mouth he rubbed my cheek as he looked down at me.
“Help a fattie up?” I asked
He rolled his eyes at me and helped me get to my feet.
“I wasn’t ready for that.” He said
“Good, I’m glad you liked it.” I said
“I’m out of breath from that Ry, like I need a nap.” He laughed.
“How about we shower first and then you can take a nap while I pack some boxes.” I said
“But I want to cuddle with my wife.” He said
“But we need to get this crap packed.” I said
He nodded at me but still pouted his bottom lip out at me.
“I love you.” He said
“I love you too. But you’ll get to cuddle with me when we go to bed tonight.” I said
He nodded and I smiled at him.
We showered and when we got out he just walked into the bedroom and just laid down naked on the bed. I walked over to him and kissed his forehead and then walked out to the living room. I grabbed the kitchen stuff box and started to pack the plates and bowls. I reached up get the very last serving platter that was high enough I needed a step stool to get. As I was reaching for it I lost my balance and came crashing off the stool and the platter came down onto me.
Baltimore came running in and started licking me to check on me. I just laid there, I was scared to move. I looked over at my dog with terrified eyes, hoping he would understand. He cocked his head to the side and sat down, he did not understand.
“Go wake daddy.” I said
He got up and ran into the bedroom, I heard him start barking.
“Balt shut up.” Alex said
He continued to bark.
“I’m up, why didn’t mommy feed you?” I heard him asked.
“Alex!” I called out.
“Ry?” He asked
“Help!” I yelled
I heard heavy footsteps and he came running into the kitchen.
“Oh my god. What happened?” He asked
“I fell, I’m bleeding.” Is aid
“Calm down, it’s going to be okay. I’m going to clean you up.” He said helping me off the ground.
“Alex I need to go to the hospital. Now.” I said
“Are you okay?” He asked
“My water broke when I fell. We need to go.” I said
He nodded and ran into the bedroom to pull on some clothes, I shoved my feet into flip flops and we ran out the door. He helped me in and I pulled my phone out and dialed Macks number.
“Hey mama, you’re interrupting some Mack and Jack fun time.” She said
“Mack.” I said in pain as a contraption ripped through me.
“Ryan what’s wrong?” She asked panicked.
“It’s time, she’s coming.” I said
“She’s coming!” She yelled.
“Yes, phone tree.” I said
“Jack get up the baby is coming! Start the phone tree.” She yelled into the back ground.
“You hold on love we’re on our way.” She said
I hung up the phone.
“Phone tree?” Alex asked taking my bloody hand trying to calm me down.
“We made a phone tree for if I went into labor. They call one person each and those people call one each and then the whole lot of my family will be here.” I said
He nodded and whipped into the hospital parking lot.
“Let’s go.” I said
He nodded and we ‘ran’ into the hospital.
“I’m having a baby.” I said to the lady behind the desk.
“Okay Ryan calm down. We’re going to get you into a room and call your doctor.” The nurse said
I nodded and they set me down in a wheel chair and wheeled me up to the baby floor as my hubby calls it with him on our heels… they gave me my own room so I wouldn’t have to share with anyone since a lot of famous people were going to be here.
Forty five minutes passed before my doctor arrived, she came in and smiled at me.
“Hello soon to be rents.” She smiled
I didn’t smile back at her.
“So I see that you fell. We’ll the baby is okay I can promise you that, the shock just knocked you into labor.” She said
I nodded less scared that I had killed my baby.
“We’re in for a long night Ry.” She said
“I know.” I said
“You ready?” She asked
“Not at all, I wish I didn’t have to do this.” I laughed.
“I know, but holding her in your arms for the first time will make all the pain worth it. You’re not dilated at all right now so I will come back in an hour to check on you.” She said
I nodded and she walked out of the room.
“I’m so excited to meet my baby girl.” Alex said
“I am too, should we tell people her name before or after she’s born?” I asked
“After.” He smiled
“Do you think they’ll like it?” I asked
“I know they will but that’s not the point. We like it.” He said
I nodded and a contraption ripped through me, I let out a scream and Alex jumped to attention.
“I’m okay, more where that came from.” I sighed.
He chuckled.
“This is all your fuckin fault chuckles.” I snapped.
He smiled at me and rubbed my head.
Twenty more minutes went by and there was a knock on the door, Alex got up and opened it to reveal Mack and Jack standing there. I gave them a weak smile and they walked in, she walked up to me and sat on the bed beside me and rubbed my belly.
“How are you holding up?” She asked
“I’m so tired.” I said in a sob.
“I know, I know. How dilated are you?” She asked
“She was in here twenty minutes ago and said I wasn’t at all.” I said
“Oh, are they going to send you home?” Jack asked
I shook my head.
“You’re early.” He said
“I fell, and the impact knocked me into labor.” I said
He nodded and walked over and kissed the top of my head.
“Why don’t you take a nap and Jack and I will go wait in the lobby for everyone. We’ll fill them in on what’s going on. You’ve got your phone text me when you wake up and I’ll come back.” She said
I nodded and he kissed my cheek and walked out of the room with her new boyfriend on foot.
“Alright baby.” Alex said
“Will you come lay with me?” I asked
He nodded and clambered up into the bed, I laid my head on his shoulder and he rubbed my belly as I tried to sleep.
