The First Time

Emma’s POV

After the concert and the crowd went home, I took my wallet out and paid some money.

“Here, I didn’t get a ticket and I snuck in. I’m sorry.” I said looking at Jack, Alex, Rian, Cassadee, and Zack.

They just smiled at me and they hugged me.

“Sorry for all the sweat.” Rian said. “Good to have you back Emma.”

The guys rested and one by one took a shower except for Cassadee. She still looked flawless without having a sweat coming out of her body.

“Hi, I’m Emma. I’m a big fan and it’s a pleasure to finally meet you.”

“Likewise! So, were you and Zack high school sweethearts?”

“Yeah, I guess you can say that.”

“What happened to you guys before?”

“I don’t really know what happened form his point of view, but from mine, he hurt me and I left him. Even so, I never got over him. You know, he was the first guy to have sweep me off my feet.”

“I’m glad you guys are back now. He seemed really miserable until 15 minutes ago when he made that speech for you. He really loves you just so you know.”

“How do you know?”

“I just do. Rian seems to think so too.”

“I’m scared that the feeling will fade away and he’ll leave me.”

“Never.”

The guys finished taking a shower and came to us.

“Do you guys want to go out? Celebrate our last night in Boston?” Jack suggested

“Yeah, I’m hungry. Let’s go somewhere. Emma, do you anywhere we can eat, drink, and party?” Alex asked

“Well do you want to go to a club or just a secluded place where you can do all that?”

“What are the options?” Rian asked me

“There’s a club not far away from here, but it’s really crowded and well there’s a very good Mexican restaurant 30 minutes away. They sell really good food, they have drinks, and well you could party and dance. It’s not bad quality either and it’s not very crowded.”

“The Mexican restaurant seems better.” Cassadee said

“And Jack does like burritos. So what do you say?” I asked

“Mexican it is.” Jack grinned

We went there with the rest of the crew with their bus and I felt very happy. I introduced myself to most of the crew and they seem to be really fun people.

The Mexican place was still opened and as a group we went in there. It was surprisingly empty today. The musicians started playing very jolly music and some of the guys danced around while making jokes that made everyone laughed.

We had fun and the employees of the restaurant seemed to be having fun too. It was a really feel good restaurant. We gathered up the tables and ordered so many food that it looked like a feast. We ate and talked and some of us danced joyfully. The food was delicious.

“This is a good burrito.” Jack said

“Yeah, the food here is really good.” Alex added

“Do you go here a lot?” Zack asked

“Yeah, usually weekends when I’m hungry and free. I love this place and it’s not crowded either.” I smiled

The food was almost finished and slow music started to play. Rian and Cassadee slow danced and the looked adorable. Jeff and Vinny also jammed around.

“Do you want to dance?” Zack asked

“No, I don’t really feel like it. I’m sorry, but if you want to, may be you should.” I felt bad

Matt, Danny, Alex and Evan got up and danced along with Jeff and Vinny. Matt Colussy and Alex Grieco were in the bar ordering some drinks while laughing. It was just Zack and I on the table now.

“I’m sorry Zack. I really am. I just don’t dance.”

“Em, don’t worry. It was just a question anyways.” He flashed me a smile that I really missed. “We could just talk. That would be better.”

“Yeah.”

“I’m truly sorry for what happened, okay? I really didn’t want her to.”

“I forgive you. I should have not walked away too. I’m sorry.”

He looked at me and we got closer. Soon we chuckled and we kissed. It felt amazing having him back in my life. I always thought that I hated him, but I’ve always loved him. I just needed time to realize that.

Alex, Rian, Jack, and Cassadee suddenly shouted “To Emma and Zack!”

The crew raised their glasses and repeated the phrase. I looked at Zack and he looked at me. We smiled at each other and everything felt right.

Zack’s POV

It felt good to be with Emma. It felt just like when we were teenagers. The guys and Cassadee made a toast ad I felt really happy. She makes me very happy and I hope I can also be the source of her happiness as well.
