The First Time

Rian’s POV

Four years later (after the break-up)




BOSTON!!!




So we’re touring in Boston for about 3 weeks. We’re staying a while because we got a lot of places to perform in Boston. So excited for this!




The four of us were in the hotel room. Everyone’s pretty tired after the long bus ride. Alex and Jack’s pretty cozy together watching TV and Zack’s just his miserable, quiet self. He has been like this since Emma broke up with him. I feel bad for them. I thought they were happy.




Anyways, I was really hungry. I told the guys that I’d be going to buy some food for my tummy. They just nodded and I went out alone.




I bought some food from the closest diner, which was pretty far away and ate it along the way. I was checking my phone waiting for Cass to arrive because she’s gonna sing with us until I saw someone quite familiar. Long blonde hair, tall, slender body, pretty, sweet face, elegant, and simple. I know who it was! Emma! I didn’t know for sure so I shouted her name just to make sure.




“Emma!” The girl I saw turned around looking for a voice. Oh my goodness it was Emma! I had a weird and strange idea. I tried to resist it, but fuck it! I’m doing it. I followed her and texted Cass that I took a small walk.




The walk wasn’t far. This moment reminded me a lot about the moment when Alex and I followed her back home when we were 17.She was walking fast as if she knew that I was following her. She acted just like the same old Emma I used to know. I followed her to her apartment building and when I wanted to follow her up, she turned around. I ran for my life! She should not know that I was here.




I got to tell the guys. Maybe not Zack, but Alex and Jack should know. Especially Alex. Zack’s been wretched and miserable and maybe it would be better if we asked Emma what happened to them.

I walked back to the hotel. I found Cass standing at the lobby. I ran and gave her a hug from the back. She seemed startled, but she turned around and gave me a kiss. Man, I love this woman. I waited for her to get her keys and we went up. She was tired so she went to bed. I gave her a goodnight kiss and went back to the guys.




I found Zack on the couch checking his phone with a rather pouty face. Yeah, he’s been pouty lately. No, ever since the break-up. Jack was snoring next to Zack and Alex was texting with Lisa. I immediately ran to Alex. I whispered the “information” I just got. He quickly stared at me and we ran out of the room. Yes, it’s when we were 17 all over again.
