I sat on the couch staring around the room, everything was moving so quickly. The vodka and red bull sat in my hand and my throat still burned from the shots Alex had made me take with him. I had known this kid all of one day and he had pulled me from my bed and shoved a bottle in my hand. The shots had gone straight to my alcohol intolerant brain and you could barely stand. I pulled out my phone and shot a text to Roland.
To: Ro
Sent: 2.53 am
I need rode. voka an redbulk. dfrnk.
He replied within the minute and I stumbled out to the porch to wait. Alex slid down beside me and put an arm around my shoulder.
"Care bear, you came to the party." I looked at Alex like that was the most obvious statement anyone could have possibly made. "I'm serious. I didn't think you would come. I was so happy when Jack brought you."
"Why?" I was curious and just alive enough to still have a keen sense of curiosity.
"I don't know." Alex giggled to himself and took another swig from his cup of god knows what. "Drunken impulse." At this moment Roland sped round the corner and beeped the car horn. I waved goodbye to Alex and practically fell into the passenger seat.We had reached the end of the street before I ordered Roland to stop the car and threw up out of the door. Roland cheered and fist pumped the air. He laughed about how proud he was of me for finally giving in to my teenage instincts and getting so drunk I lost my guts.
I woke to a terrible throbbing in my head. I rolled over to see that my clock was blaring 8.00, yelling that I was late for school. I jumped out of bed and pulled on my jeans and t-shirt, grabbed my jacket and bag and ran down the stairs. I downed two asprin and a glass of water and ran to just catch the bus passing my house. The morning light hurt my eyes and pulled my sunglasses out of my bag. I caught my reflection in the lenses and cringed at the view. I was glad I had so much practice in putting on make-up in moving vehicles. I sorted my face by the time we reached school and trudged into music class. I found Alex also sporting his glasses and huddled in the desk next to mine. I groaned as I threw my bag next to my desk and slunk down in my seat.
"Sore head?" I nodded at ask and gave him a questioning look. "Yeah, same here." Miss Torrence came in a told us to carry on working and Alex and I stayed hugged in our desks, too hung over to do any work today. We both rushed from class and straight to the bathroom when class ended. After losing my asprin and water I emerged into the corridor and found Alex leaning against the lockers. We looked at each other and broke out into fits of laughter.
"Alex, baby. You coming to English?" Chloe Robinson wrapped her arms around his waist and he turned to kiss her.
"See you later, Carrie." Alex nodded to me before he turned to waltz down the hallway with Chloe.
Chloe was perfect. Long chocolate hair, ice blue eyes and the most perfect modelling body any girl could wish for. Of course the infamous Alex Gaskarth would be with Chloe. They were perfect for each other, both greatly popular and beautiful in every way. I knew it was stupid, but I couldn't help but wish he would stay and talk about the party last night with me.
ALEX POV
I got a shiver up my spine as I felt Chloe's hands trace my waist. I said goodbye to Carrie and walked to English with my arm around Chloe's waist. I couldn't help but feel like I should turn around and spend the rest of the day simply talking with Carrie. I shook the feeling off. I had known the girl all of 24 hours and I already felt like I needed her around. That was ridiculous. Stupid. Idiotic. I pressed my lips to Chloe's before we slid into the English room and took our seats at the back. I reached for her hand and our intertwined fingers dangled between our desks.

This story is so good! OMG. I just found it and started reading it yesterday, and haven't stopped. I just caught up with all of the updates you have of it and really love it.
It's a very dark fan fic. Specifically with the first half, honestly one of the darkest I've read actually... like with that curse of everything happening on Sundays? Man... and you just kind of kept it up too. It was just very dark, and sad, but... different. And I really like that about this.
The second half seems to be deviating from that a little bit, but I sensed that coming back with the babies thing. I mean, not that I want anything to happen, but I almost feel you had something bad happening planned with the pregnancy. Perhaps not, perhaps that was just to raise some of the tone as opposed to keeping it happy go lucky, who knows. But I found it interesting how you did that.
I'm glad that Alex and Carrie finally got together, with the first part of this I was just screaming GET TOGETHER until they finally did. lol. And I was happy. :)
I found it a bit odd how they just took in those fans though. On a realistic writing level, the oddity of this story was the curse thing. But adding the fans thing in too, it just... it didn't really fit. Especially considering legalities and all of that. I feel like it was a little too easy that they gained guardianship.
But overall, I have enjoyed Alex and Carrie's love story. I'm sad to see it was never finished, so I'm leaving this comment to let you know if you ever do choose to finish it, I will be here to read, for sure. I'd love to see how it all ends for these two. Even if it's just a final chapter wrap up or something; I understand what it's like losing inspiration.
But yeah, sorry if this comment sounded harsh at all, but just wanted to leave my honest thoughts. I think you're a truly great writer, though, and hope you have at least kept up with it in your free time. :)
