Alex's POV
"Thank you all so much! You're the best fans. Couldn't have asked for a better conclusion of our tour!" And I run off stage, followed by the rest of the band and crew.

And god, has it been a long tour. I swear enough shit has happened to last a lifetime. But it's all worth it. Unfortunately, the end of tour brings me back to a conversation I'd quite rather forget.

"Alex, I know about you and Jack." She said, staring me right in the face. I looked around for a minute, making sure no one else was there.

"How?" The word sounded hollow, harsh.

"Outside my hospital room, I heard the whole thing. And I want you to know I support you guys. 100%. In fact, I think it's rather adorable."

She made me smile. Oh, Laura. Having her here has been such a blessing. "Really? You mean it?"

"I do," she said, "But I also think you guys should tell people."

And with that, my face fell. "Tell? For what, for everyone to leave?" I can feel the tears start to form. I had this conversation with Jack too.

"Look, Alex. You're in love. If these people won't support you, then they're not worth it. I know Zack, Rian, and Matt will be fine with you two being together. And I hate keeping secrets."

Maybe she's right. "Okay Laura. But let me talk to Jack and do this my way. I promise we'll at least tell the band and crew by the end of tour."

She smiles and hugs me. "That's perfect Alex. I love you bro."

Waking up from my reverie, I realize that the time has come. Jack and I planned it. There's a party tonight, and thanks to the no alcohol rule, it should be the right time. I know that I have Jack and Laura. What else do I need?

Jack's POV
Changing for the party, I'm nervous. Tonight Alex and I are coming out. Together. And I know we've got Laura's support, but I can't help but worry about what everyone else will think.

This may be the biggest thing I've ever had to do.

I'm changed. It's time to go. I walk towards the lounge, to see Alex standing there looking as nervous as I do with Laura. I grab his hand and we smile at each other.

"We can do this."

"I know."

Laura opens the door and Alex and I follow her in.

"Hey! Everybody shut up for a sec!" Laura screams, and I can't help but smile. I love that kid.

When people don't quiet down, she looks over at Zack who comes over and picks her up, putting her on his shoulders. Now that she's above the whole room, her screams carry and everyone stops.

"Thank you," she says, climbing off of Zack's shoulders and giving him a peck on the cheek. "Go ahead Alex, Jack."

I scan the room. Most everybody looks just a little surprised, but there's nothing menacing there.

"So, uhm, we just wanted to thank you guys for a great tour. And, we have an announcement to make. Alex and I are...." And my breath falters.

Alex steps forward, taking my hand in his. "Together. We're dating. We have been for a few months, and decided it was finally time you all knew." And with that, he kissed me.

For a second, there was silence. Then a cheer broke out. I was stunned. Alex pulled away, grinning at me. It's real. I'm in love with Alex Gaskarth, and it's all okay. I took a deep breath and smile at the room. I feel a pair of tiny arms wrap around my lanky middle. I look down and see it's Laura, on tiptoe.

"Dammit, lean down Jacky. I want to give you a proper hug. I'm proud of you." I obey, hugging the girl tight. She means a lot to me. To all of us.

She lets me go and gives the same treatment to Alex, while everyone comes up and congratulates me and Alex,

It's okay. I'm in love, and it's okay.
