I have to give him kudos though. I didn't think the situation could get much worse but he just did it. He just made it worse.

Amazing job with the chapter, if that wasn't obvious. lol. My other comments have been fueled but never so much that I've cried a mixture of angry and sad tears, lol, so I have to note how great this chapter was.
I ALSO want to note their journey getting here. Not even just this specific drama. Like, Whitney has taken so much shit from Alex, where he kind of abandoned her for most of the pregnancy, etc., and I think that's why I'm siding with her. Like, I understand with just this specific situation, she's probably a bit more at fault on the heaviness scale, HOWEVER...
ALEX. FREAKING. STARTED. IT.
I just cannot. And again, just their history, and Alex is still reacting this way. Okay, trying to get calm again clearly is not working...
This is emotional, sorry.
And I also understand that Jack is Alex's best friend, but C'MON. Like, he's literally seeing NO FAULT with Alex. OKAY. Okay.
I'm so glad Megan was there to back her up, if only just for a few moments. But Whitney needed that and I'm glad she's still there for her. Megan, you go girl. She deserves a best friend award if there ever is one.

lol. It just needs to be plural. I was confused why only one eye closed at first, but then you were saying about both and I was like whoops... just a typo I think. XD
But yeah, awesome job with the chapter. It made me emotional, makes me even more pissed for Whitney... girl, again, I would not blame her if she moved out. With Eric... XD Like just drive the nail in like Alex is doing with her. Like as the author I give you full permission to do that even though I should be rooting for them to get back together. But at the moment I'm not just with all the hell he's putting her through. Such bull. I can't.
This story has me hooked and I obviously can't wait for more! lol. (Don't worry, behind all my anger I'm still rooting for them in a sense... >:()

They're both in the wrong. Alex should have told Whitney right away about the kiss if it really was nothing. But he didn't. And Whitney knew exaaaaactly what she was doing going to see Eric - which kind of makes her slightly more in the wrong than Alex. But now the whole right thing? Damn. Not sure what his motive was, but it seems like he's just fucking with her and that's not cool!

I fished it out and eagerly opened my phone to read the text I’d received from Alex.
I noticed you did this in another chapter... she opened her phone? lol. I keep thinking it's like a flip phone when you say this, but she has an iPhone right? Maybe the term you would want to use is "unlocked." But even if the term is changed, you don't necessarily need to unlock/open the iPhone to see the text, you know? It can just be on the home screen (especially in regard to short texts).
I'm getting very nit-picky, sorry. Just wanting to have this clarified, lol.
But alas, my frustration aside for a majority of this comment, I'm glad that you updated. :D This is seriously one of my favorite stories at the moment, especially in being an "edge-of-your-seat" at the moment. Just anticipating what's going to happen next! :O
But like I said, Whitney doesn't need him, girlllll... if he's gonna play hardball, she should do the same. XD

Although I do agree with it on the fact that she probably should've mentioned it sooner. lol, they got it all working out and then she just drops that bomb. I kind of pictured it happening sooner with her spite part, like her bringing it up. But you took a different route, and that makes it interesting. Intrigued to see what you have happen next.

Oh shit! That was rough to read. Both of them were wrong, and both have a right to feel hurt by the other person... I just hope they can work through this soon.
Oh God dammit. This is rough. I feel bad for Alex because he's obviously so sorry but he did screw up by not telling Whitney right away. I feel bad for Whitney because of course she's going to have issues trusting Alex right away but she screwed up running to Eric right away. Oh maaaan. I hate that they're still fighting but I also kind of love it. Ahhhh!
Okay, so wait.... she slept with him?! Or was it a they slept in their underwear kind of deal?
I'm a little lost on that factor. I mean, you kind of hinted toward it with the clothes thing at the beginning but I'm still a bit unsure with what happened... especially after Eric practically promised no funny business. So they did anyway, or...? Another thing that confused me was how Eric was so casual, lol, like what.
Because whether they did or not obviously makes a difference. Sigh.
But other than that being slightly confusing, lol, great job with the chapter! Eric is still such a sweet potato though. I mean, he's letting her go and urging her to talk to Alex. He was a bit sly on the fact of whether or not she should believe Alex, but... for the most part, he did the right thing and even put his personal feelings aside. :')
Alex's voicemails were heartbreaking. :'( lol, the feminist in me though is a bit pissed off with how he said she couldn't leave him though. C'mon now. That's not his choice to make. But I could understand where he was coming from and feminist part aside, it really showed his sincerity and how much he still wants to be with her.
Ugh, and now we have to wait for the confrontation! THIS IS TORTURE, ending the chapter just before it gets to the juicy part! UGH. XD You better update stat, though. Dang it. I need to know what happens next!!

Ohhhhhh snaaaap. Whitney messed uppppp! (As long as Alex is telling the truth about Sophia, which I think he is.) Her best bet is to just tell Alex the truth, claim temporary insanity and just beg for his forgiveness so they can all go back to being a happy family! Although, he's not completely off the hook. He should have told Whitney about the kiss right away, whether he knew there was pictures or not. That way, Whitney wouldn't have been so quick to lose her damn mind when she found out.

What a sweetie bear. Seriously. I mean, he shouldn't have let things continue, but he stopped when Whitney stopped and he understood. Like, they felt a connection. Whitney let it go though, for the sake of her family. <3 And he respects that and her. Like, he's seriously one of the best troublemakers I've read in a story. You somehow make it work where I can still like him even though I'm rooting for Alex, which is not easy and hardly ever happens when I read a story.
And girl, I'm on the side where kiss pictures don't lie. Regardless of the story, Alex still kissed Sophia, so I think what Whitney did was sort of justified. Like just imagine if the roles were reversed. I'm sure Alex would be pissed at her too and not pick up his phone.
I'm all about pointing out random sentences:

The end of this one. XD Seems like the classic, "went back and changed it but forgot to delete/add another word for the final to make sense," mistake. lol. Is that description somewhat accurate? ;)
But that was the only thing I saw really. I really enjoyed the update because I feel like that was a lot of character development with Whitney. Or... just like more of a range for her in comparison to other chapters. She goes from angry to sad to confused to guilty, not in that particular order but also repeating. So you portrayed her very well in this chapter I believe, probably one of the best inner character monologues you've done for her. I'm trying to describe this correctly but I think I'm failing, lol, hopefully you get what I mean. Long story short, I'm complimenting you if none of this makes sense. :D
Can't wait to see what happens next! On the edge of my seat waiting for the Alex confrontation. Dun, dun, dun. XD
Oh, and random, but this chapter or just where the story is at right now, made me think of the new song "Stay" by Zedd and Alessia Cara. You should look it up if you haven't heard it yet. :D Idk just the emotions in this story have me thinking about it I guess lol.
I'm so conflicted! I want to support Whitney's decision to go out with Eric because Alex so very badly messed up. But because we don't know Alex's point of view of the whole thing I'm scared the whole Sophia kiss was blown out of proportion by the tabloids and nothing really happened and then Alex is going to find out she hooked up with Eric and be completely devestated! Or maybe I'm just being over dramatic...

Okay, so like, this chapter is even more sad than when they were arguing. :-( They obviously still love each other and want to make this work but theyre being scared and stubborn and now he's going to leave for three months? I smell disaster! Please go easy on them!
