Yes. I'm really glad Whitney took Will to see Alex in LA. I'm also really glad things weren't tooo awkward with them. The chat Whitney had with May was really sweet. I'm just nervous to see what Alex thinks they need to talk about. I hope Eric's Mother's Day visit doesn't come back to bite Whitney in the ass.

I mean really. So many things he could've did to make it less creepy. He peeked at office files when he could have honestly just texted her or something. I mean are you serious? XD
But anyway, I guess this is good on the "her loving Alex more now" front. At least Alex isn't creepy. XD I hope she tells him about it though; their relationship should be about honesty from here on out, and I can't imagine it'd be good if she didn't tell him.
This chapter gave me goosebumps for some reason. Like, when it got to the less creepy part; the sincere mother-daughter moment with her and Isobel. Is that weird? *wanders around mentally/through the comment section, trying to justify the means* XD
But yeah, I really liked that moment. Yet another factor that makes this different than other fan fics I've read; I feel like this is the first time that the main character has made a connection with the fam. You know, they're brought up in other fan fics and mentioned with brief interactions, but never anything this deep, or maybe once in a blue moon this deep. So I'm glad you dived into that. It just made it more real.
Also, the discussion, maybe that's what added to it, the topic. It wasn't just something light, it was real.
So great job with the update! :) Honestly a bitttt disappointed that Alex didn't send flowers. I thought for sure the ones Isobel was bringing over would be courtesy of him, but then it was cute how they were from her, mother-to-mother sort of thing. That also made it more realistic... but back to the point. XD Yeah, like what's the dealio with that? He just texted her; needs to step up the game. Maybe you have something planned though that isn't discussed or will later happen, idk. XD
So yeah, shifting feelings with this chapter. You're getting me back fully on Alex's side now with this change from Eric, damn. I didn't think it was possible, and thought it would be more difficult for you to achieve, but man... you did it. :P That's what makes you a great writer, though. :D
So excited for more! Always start almost literally jumping in happiness when I get an update notification for this story. :DD

Okayyyy... Eric is a little creepy just showing up at her house like that. I hope this isn't something he keeps doing.

I'm glad Alex's mom has Whitney's back. That was a sweet moment between them.

I just hope Whitney tells Alex about Eric coming by for a surprise visit. I can only imagine the catastrophe if he finds out some other way...

I was totally planning on updating the other one before this one but I realized how long it's been since I did anything with this so I went ahead while I had the time. I'm glad you enjoyed it! <3

I know things aren't completely fixed with them but it was nice to see them getting along and making progress, and having a chapter without(much)argument

I love how Megan refuses take Alex off her shit list even though Whitney sort of has. That's a sign of true friendship there.

It it makes me kind of sad that Alex is constantly worrying Whitney's going to run off with Eric. Looks like this whole ordeal has done a number on his confidence.

And I get him being busy, but it takes less than a second to send one text. So, there's more to him not reaching out to Whitney and Will - but then again, she could have just called or texted him instead.

Not that it needs to be said but I love this story and can't wait for more!

You know what's beautiful? A couple of things.
1) The tears of frustration that build up before I even start reading the chapter. XD Because I just know all the shit that's still going on.
2) Megan's hate for Alex. XD She is an awesome best friend, and it's just so beautiful. :')
3) That you updated this before posting another update for your other story. I was expecting that one first, since I think you mentioned another one in our last comment exchange, and we get this one!! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the other story as well obviously since I'm reading it, but the emotional dedication is stronger with this one atm. XD
This chapter... maannnn... okay, okay: there's progress. I still can't with Alex though. XD LMAO. Will I ever be on his side again? *thinking face emoji* Who knows. XD The fact that he wonders if she would have cheated had he pissed her off in some other way though?! WTF.

Like, not that Whitney would go falling for someone else, I have total faith in her, but what he said was pretty much a complete contradiction. Like what does he even want?
