Walls

As Slipknot was about finished rocking the stage Mackenzie and I were helping Korn with their sound check, Baltimore was tied to the hand rail to the stairs but he was still about to move around a bit I just didn’t want him running off.
“This is awful.” Mackenzie complained
“What?” I asked
“It’s hot.” She whined
I looked over at her and she was fanning herself with her hand.
“Put your hair up.” I said
She groaned and as I was about to say something Ray dropped the high-hat right onto my hand.
“Holy fuck!” I yelled
“Shit what happened?” Jonathan asked
“I dropped the high-hat onto her hand.” Ray said
“Flat?” He asked
“No, the edge came down.” I said
“Shit, shit, shit Ryan I’m sorry.” Ray said panicking
“Hey it’s okay. Just get me some ice.” I said
Ray ran off and Jonathan came over.
“Can you move it?” He asked
“A little but it hurts.” I said
Ray came back with ice and I put it on my hand and laid down on my back.
“Someone get my dad.” I said
Mackenzie took off on her cell phone.
“Oh fuck, fuck, fuck.” I whined
“Ryan I am so sorry. Please do not cry.” Ray said
I just opened my eyes and looked at him.
“Ray it’s okay, it was an accident. Now if I find out you did it on purpose you’re dead meat.” I said
He laughed and Mackenzie came sprinting back in with my dad hot on her heels.
“Ryan sit up for me.” He said
I sat up and he held his hand out for mine, I jutted out my right hand and he looked at it.
“There are definitely some broken bones in there. I’ll call the squad.” He said
“No, you don’t have to call the squad. Just give me an ace wrap and a wrist brace. I’m sure we have those two things around here.” I said
“I have my brace on the bus.” Reginald the bassist said
“Reggie can you get it?” I asked
“I don’t have time love.” He said
I listened and Slipknot was ending.
“I’ll get it. Where is it?” Mackenzie asked
“It’s in the kitchen, right on the counter.” Reggie said
She nodded and took off like Roadrunner.
“Here’s a wrap.” Jonathan said
“Did you just pull that out of your ass?” I asked
“Nope, I called Doug and he got one.” He smiled
“This may hurt a bit sweet heart.” My dad said
“It’s okay.” I said
He started wrapping and as he put pressure on it I screamed and cried at the same time.
“I heard my Ryan scream?” I heard
I looked over and Corey Taylor was standing there. When my dad finished he wiped a tear off of my cheek and then Mackenzie showed up with the brace, my dad put it on over the wrap.
“Thank god Reggie has ape hands.” I said
“Why so it would fit over your wrapped up hand?” Reggie asked
I nodded.
“We have to get set up.” Jonathan said
“Let’s go then.” I said
“No baby girl you aren’t allowed to help.” Jonathan said
“Says you!” I said
“Says me.” My dad said
I stomped my feet in a small tantrum.
“What happened?” Corey asked
“Ray dropped the high-hat on my hand and broke it.” I said
“Ouch, put ice on it.” He said kissing my forehead.
I sighed and put the icepack back onto my hand.
“So if you guys heard the blood cuddling scream from backstage I promise you no one was getting raped.” Jonathan said to the crowd
They laughed.
“Our drum tech got a high-hat dropped on her hand and broke it. Thank Ray for that.” Jonathan laughed
The crowd screamed.
“We’re going to start this off with Did My Time!” Jonathan yelled.
“Dad.” I said
“Yeah?” He asked
“I’m helping with the next band.” I said
“Ryan.” He said
“Dad I’m left handed so this one isn’t my important hand.” I said
He sighed and kissed the top of my head.
“Fine.” He said
I jumped and smiled in victory.
Mackenzie untied Baltimore and we went and sat behind a wall backstage so no one could find us. We were looking at the next bands set.
“Dude their last song is called For Baltimore. Is pup here going to run?” Mackenzie asked
“I don’t think so.” I said
“We should give him to Corey just in case.” She said
I nodded and we got up and walked to Slipknot.
“Wanna hold on to him.” I said
“Sure.” Corey said
I nodded and we hung out with them for a while, me still icing my hand.
“My hand is numb and it’s amazing.” I said
Mackenzie laughed and our radio went off.
“Ryan and Mack backstage ATL needs you.” My dad said
“Let’s go.” I said
We got up and ran backstage.
“Are you ATL?” I asked
“Half.” The guy sitting on a drum stool said
“I’m Ryan Rosen and I’m you’re tech.” I said
“You’re a girl.” Another muscly guy said
“I’m Rian Dawson the drummer and this is Zach Merrick the bassist. Our guitarist and singer had to grab something out of their car. Jack and Alex always have to do shit together.” Rian said
“Nice to meet you guys. This is Mackenzie Morgan. She’s a tech to but she basically had to do Korn all by herself.” I said
“Why?” Zach asked
“Their drummer dropped the high-hat on her hand. He’s lucky they’re family or Ryan wouldn’t have punched him.” Mackenzie said
“So it was your scream we heard.” Rian said
I nodded and we got to business, I was helping Rian when the singer and guitarist came to join us.
“Nice of you to join us.” Rian said
“Where the tech?” Someone asked
I wasn’t looking I was under the drums hooking them up.
“She’s busy.” I said
“It’s a she?” A different voice said
“Yeah dude but she’s cool.” Zach said
I finished with the drums and I stood up and walked over to introduce myself to the singer when he turned around and elbowed me in the nose, I fell back on my ass managing to not use my right hand.
“Fucking shit! What is it with people hurting me today?!” I yelled
“Shit, I am so sorry.” He said
I held my nose and looked up shocked at who I saw.
“Hi Alex.” I smiled
“Hey Ryan.” He said
“Is this who you ran into in the hallway Alex?” Zach asked
Holy shit he talked about me.
“Yeah.”Alex said
I held out my left hand and held my nose with my right, he pulled me up and I looked at Mackenzie and she winked at me. I removed my hand and I was bleeding.
“Well perfect.” I said
“Here take my shirt.” The guitarist said
I looked at him and he pulled his grey shirt off and handed it to me, I took it in my left hand held it to my nose.
“Well I’m Jack Barakat.” He said
“Ryan.” I said
“Oh trust me I’ve heard the name.” He smiled winking at Alex.
Alex blushed a little and Jack looked at me.
“You two have the exact same tattoo kind of.” Jack said
Alex looked at him funny.
“Look at the top of her hand man.” He said
“My rose?” I asked
Alex laughed and held up his left hand, his had initials with it though, I wasn’t going to ask.
“Holy hell what happened this time?” My dad asked coming backstage
“I accidently elbowed her.” Alex said
“What’s with people hurting my daughter today?” My dad asked Mackenzie
“I’m sorry sir.” Alex said
“Is she okay?” He asked
“I’m fine dad.” I said
“Let me see.” He said
I groaned and moved Jack’s shirt away.
“It doesn’t look broken.” He said
“I think I’d be yelling if it was dad.” I said
My dad rolled his eyes and looked at Alex.
“Watch it next time okay?” He asked
“Yes sir.” Alex said
“Jack, thank you for letting me use your shirt. I’ll take it home and wash it. I’ll give it to Alex and he can give it back.” I said
Jack nodded and smiled, I looked at Alex.
“I’m really sorry.” He said
“It’s fine it was an accident.” I said
He nodded and took Jack’s shirt from me and poured some of his water on it and wiped the blood off of my face.
“Thanks.” I smiled
He smiled and handed me the shirt back, I smiled and walked over to Mackenzie.
“He’s cute.” She said
“Right.” I said
“Jack I like your tattoo.” Mackenzie said
Jack looked at her and smiled.
“I have his shirt.” I said
Mackenzie laughed and pretended to gag at the smell of the blood and I waved it in front of her face.
“Quit it.” She said
I laughed and set it on the ground and helped All Time Low set up, when Korn was done Jonathan saw me helping.
“Ryan.” He said
“Dad said I could.” I said as Mackenzie and I picked up the bass drum and moved it onto the stage.
When we finished I smiled at Alex.
“Good luck and have fun.” I said
“Thanks Ry.” He said
He side hugged me and ran on stage.
“Lets get you an ice pack for you nose.” Mackenzie said
I grabbed Jack’s shirt and we walked off to the closest tour bus to us which was Avenged Sevenfold.
“Howdy boys we’re here to steal some ice.” Mackenzie said
I walked behind her and dropped myself down on the couch on top of Brian and Jimmy.
“What happened to it?” Johnny asked
“Fuck you Christ.” I said
He laughed and Mackenzie handed me a bag of ice, I laid it on the bridge of my nose.
“Where do I start?” Mackenzie asked
“Her hand.” Jimmy said
“Ray dropped his high-hat on it and broke it.” Mackenzie said
“Her face?” Brian asked
“Alex from All Time Low elbowed her on accident.” Mackenzie said
I pulled the set list out of my pocket and looked at the entire second set.

I hope, Haha it’s about midnight and I’m sleepy. Honestly who cares they’re the last band for today, it’ll only be like eight at night, or something along those lines.
I threw it down on the ground and tears just came from my eyes.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa what happened?” Brian asked rubbing my shin.
“There is so much more to this day, I just want to go home, change my clothes, shower, eat, and sleep.” I whined
“We can’t go home.” Mackenzie said
“Obviously.” I said
“Well I don’t think we have to help anymore bands, why don’t I call.” Mackenzie said getting cut off by her phone ringing.
She held up her finger and walked off of the bus.
“You can sleep on our bus.” Jimmy said
“And as for eating after Fall Out Boy there is a cook out for the staff and bands.” Zacky said
I sighed and Jimmy wiped my tears.
“I love you guys.” I said
“We love you too.” They said in unison
I just laid there on top of Brian and Jimmy, Mackenzie came back in.
“I have to go.” She said
“What happened?” I asked
“Jack’s mom. I will be back tonight though so save me some food.” She said
“Take my car.” I said
I reached into my pocket and threw them at her.
“I’ll tell dad it was a family thing and he’ll understand.” I said
“Thank you.” She said
“I’ll see you tonight.” I said
She smiled and ran off the bus.
“What happened to Jack’s mom?” Matt asked
“She’s been having heath issues.” I said
“Shes not even that old.” Zacky said
“I know.” I said
“Want something to munch on for now?” Zacky asked
“Whatcha got?” I asked
“Crackers, chips, sandwich stuff, popsicles.” Jimmy said
“Zacky.” I said
“Yeah?” He asked
“Can you pwease make me a sandwich?” I asked
“Yes whiny.” He said
“I’ve had a long day.” I said
He nodded and made me food, I was about to take a nap when my dad started to call my phone.
“Yeah?” I asked
“Can you come here please?” He asked
“On my way.” I said
I got up and smiled at the boys and grabbed Jack’s shirt and went to find my dad.
“Yeah?” I sighed
“You don’t have any more bands to help with today so I want you to just relax.” He said
I nodded and he kissed my forehead and wiped a stray tear from my face.
“Daddy I’ve had such a day. I want to sleep so bad.” I said
“Then go to Slipknots bus or Avenged’s bus. They’ll lend you a bunk to sleep in and they’ll wake up for the cook out.” He said
“Speaking of the cook out. Mack had to leave because something happened to Jack’s mom. She’ll be back for the cook out.” I said
“Okay. I hope Ms. Lowe is okay.” He said
I nodded and headed back to Avenged bus when something caught my eye, well my ears. I walked over to the stage and listened to All Time Low live, they were fantastic. The way Alex moved about the stage, he seemed so happy and so content on being up there. They all just looked so happy to be there, I stood and watched for a little bit.
“JALEX. JALEX. JALEX!” A crowd of girl screamed
“You guys want Jalex?” Alex asked
The crowd screamed and Alex walked over to Jack, Alex leaned into Jack and they kissed for a short time.
“There is your Jalex.” Alex said
“You are all perverts.” Jack smiled into the crowd
I laughed and walked away back to Avenged bus to take my nap, when I stepped onto the bus Baltimore came running at me.
“Hi baby boy.” I said picking him up
Jimmy looked up from his phone and smiled.
“Whatcha looking at Jimbo?” I asked
“I picture Melissa sent me of the twins.” He said
“Can I see?” I asked
“Yeah.” He said
I walked over and looked at the picture of his twin sons Eli and Noah. They were wresting in Jimmy’s living room.
“Cute.” I said
“I can’t wait to get home and see them. Allison and Kimberly miss you.” He said
“Awh I miss them. I will have to stop over.” I said
“GOD DAMN IT FUCKER!” I heard Matt yell from the back room
“Video games?” I asked
“Duh.” Jimmy said
“Hey, I’m going to sleep in your bunk. Can you wake me up for the cookout?” I asked
“Sure thang.” He said
I kissed his cheek and took Baltimore with me, I set him in Jimmy’s bunk and climbed up into it. Baltimore stepped up onto my stomach and we fell asleep.

I have no idea why I continue to update this because it looks like nobody reads it.. Well I got six chapters from the corrupted file which makes me terribly sad but I'm working on it once again.

I should have an update for Just Breathe soon so yeah... Thanks to whomever is reading this, I appreciate it
