I woke up and almost pissed my pants because the alarms were going off. Got up and stopped all of them.
"Holy hangover." I said
I grabbed my head and stood there for a minute, it was two thirty in the morning. I walked into my bathroom and grabbed a shower; I walked back into the living room just in a bra and undies.
"Mackenzie get up." I said
She sat up and looked at me; my hangover wasn't as bad as I thought I just need some caffeine in me. She stood up and looked like she was going to cry.
"Shower and help me get ready then we'll stop by your house or you can borrow my clothes." I said
She nodded and trudged into the bathroom, I heard the shower kick on and I sat down on my bed. When she was done she came on wearing the same thing as me but my bra and undies were black and hers were red.
"Can I just borrow your clothes?" She asked
"Yes." I said
I got up and we rifled through my closet trying to find clothes to wear.
"It's supposed to be ninety-eight today." She said
"Shorts it is." I said
"I want the purple ones!" She yelled
I laughed and handed her my dark purple short shorts.
"We have to stop by your house anyways. We have to drop Nightmare off." I said
"You should leave Baltimore here. He's going to be freaking out with all of these people." She said
"You have a point." I said
"But he's too cute." She said
"Do you want me to take him?" I asked
"Yes." She said
I smiled and pulled on my black short shorts, I grabbed a dark red tank top and pulled it on.
"I need a black one." Mackenzie said
I pulled one off of the hanger for her and she pulled it on.
"I'd pull your hair up." I said
"I will when we get there." She said
"Alright." I said
"Korn or Slipknot hasn't seen your new haircut. Ray or Corey aren't going to like it." She said
"I don't think any of them will like it." I said
"Oh well. Let’s get going to drop Nightmare off." She said
"Is Jack going to be asleep?" I asked
"Maybe." I said
I laughed and we left the apartment, as we were leaving so were Kellin and Vic were leaving too, Copeland snuggled into Kellin's shoulder.
"Morning neighbor." Vic said
"Morning." I smiled
"Where are you guys off too?" Kellin asked
"To help her dad with a concert thing." Mackenzie said
"Oh fun. Wanna take the baby?" He asked
"To a concert?" I asked
"She goes all of the time." He said
"Do you want us to take her?" I asked
"No dear I was kidding. Want something to listen to in the car?" Kellin asked
"Yes." Mackenzie said
"Okay hold on." Vic said
He walked back into the apartment and came out with three cd cases.
"One is Pierce the Veil, one is Sleeping with Sirens and the last one is All Time Low." Vic said
"We've never." Mackenzie said
"I know, I think you'll like them." Vic said cutting her off
I nodded and laughed. We split off from them and went to my car. I put in the Sleeping With Sirens mixed Cd and hit play on the song Titled Roger Rabbit. It was good.
"I want to meet this singer." Mackenzie said
"You have." I said
"Who?" She asked
"Sleeping with Sirens is Kellin's band and Pierce the Veil is Vic's band." I said
"Oh my goodness." She laughed
"Put in the All Time Low mixed one." I said
"Okay." She said
She put in the cd and hit play; they were good, like really good. When I pulled into her driveway it was about four thirty in the morning.
"We have an hour to get to dad." I said
She nodded and grabbed Nightmare and I grabbed Baltimore, we walked in and Nightmare jumped out of her arms and ran into the living room. We followed him and Jack was asleep cross-legged on the couch using the arm as a pillow.
"He's so cute." I said
"I know. I'm so glad I found him." She said
She walked over and kissed his forehead.
"Jack baby go to the bedroom." She said
He stirred and sat up.
"You're up and home this early?" He asked
"We have a job to do Jack Jack." I said
He smiled and stood up hugging Mackenzie, I honey couldn't wait for their wedding.
Jack has shoulder length light brown edgy cut hair, his eyes were a light brown a lot lighter than Mackenzie's, he had angel bites which is snake bites on your top lip, his septum was pierced and he was covered in tattoos. They were the most adorable couple ever.
"We've got to go." Mackenzie said
Jack nodded and kissed her on the lips
"I love you." He said
"I love you too." She smiled
I stood there and gushed over their relationship. Jack walked over to me and hugged me and kissed me cheek.
"Behave." He said
"Always." I laughed
He rolled his eyes and Mackenzie, Baltimore and I walked to my car. We got back I turned All Time Low back on and made our way to Starbucks. When we got there my dad was sitting outside with three drinks, I leashed Baltimore and we walked up to him.
"They are going to be mad at you." He said as soon as I sat Down
"They'll get over it if they love me." I laughed
The last time I saw the guys my hair was down past my ass and they all loved it because it was something to pull on while I was working.
"Your guy’s coffees." He said
He handed me my drink
"Iced chia tea latte with soy." He said
"You're the best." I said
"White chocolate mocha frappe for you." He said to Mackenzie
"Extra whip?" She asked
"Extra whip." He smiled
Baltimore looked at me and I pulled him into my lap.
"So why are we here so early?" I asked
"Twenty bands, hour sets. This thing starts soon." He said
"Then we should go." I said
"Follow me." He said
I nodded and he got into his tuck and Mackenzie, Baltimore and I into my car and we followed him. We drove for an hour and a half.
"If I added right this thing goes on until four am." Mackenzie
"And then some because the bands will have a huge get together and pass out drunk." I said
"You've been to way to many of these." She laughed
"I love it." I smiled
We pulled into the venue and the place was fucking packed with people waiting to get in. We got out and I picked Baltimore up and we met up with my dad.
"These are you passes to get everywhere. We are helping most bands with their sound checks. Here's you radios, they'll say your name and say where they are backstage. This place is huge be careful and call me if you get lost. Got it?" He asked
"Yes sir." I said
"I have to do some security stuff so go right through that gate and it'll open up to where the busses and cars for all of the bands are." He said
"Yes sir. Mackenzie let’s go find Korn and Slipknot." I said
I hugged my dad and we went through the gate.
"How are we going to know where they are?" She asked
"Wherever one is the other is." I said
"Okay." She said
"Doug! Hit me with the lineup." I said
Doug was a stage manager, he walked over and kissed my head and handed me a piece of paper.
"Do you want each set list?" He asked
"Of the songs?" Mackenzie asked
"Yes." I said
He handed me a packet and I walked off.
"Baltimore I'm going to put you down so behave." I said
He wagged his tail and I set him down.
"Take us to Mick." I said
He just looked at me so I started walking.
"There they are." Mackenzie said
"Take Baltimore. I'm jumping." I said
She took Baltimore, my Starbucks, and the papers.
"Jonathan?" She asked
I nodded and started running, I jumped onto Jonathan David's back.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa who the fuck?" He asked
I looked up and the rest of Korn was smiling
"Who is this?" He asked
"Jonathan." I whined
"Oh my god." He said
It had been a few months since they saw me.
"Ryan Marie." He said
"Don't use that awful middle name." I said
I jumped down from his back and he turned and hugged me tightly. Mackenzie came up and they all hugged her.
"You cut your fucking hair!" Jonathan yelled
"Do you like it?" I asked
"It's short." He said
"Yeah but there is still something grab on to." I heard
There was a pull at my hair and I turned and Corey Taylor the singer for Slipknot was standing there smiling.
"Well hi." I said
He hugged me and pulled on my hair.
"Still something to pull on." He said again
"Quit it." I said
"Sexy girl!" I heard.
I looked and Mick Thompson was coming over and hugging Mackenzie.
"I'm sexy this time." She said sticking her tongue out at me
"Who are you talking to?" Mick asked
"Me." I smiled
"Ryan! How dare you cut your hair!?" He said
"I like it this way." I said
"It looks good but I still like the hair long." He said petting Mackenzie
"Who is this little guy?" Corey asked kneeling down to Baltimore.
“This is my puppy Baltimore.” I smiled
“He’s cute.” He said
“Why thank you.” I said
“Wanna walk around?” Mackenzie asked
“Yeah.” I said
“Do you guys want to watch him?” I asked pointing at the puppy
“Can we?” Corey asked
“Put him on Slipknot’sbbus.” I said
“Gottcha.” Corey said
He kissed my cheek and Mackenzie and I walked off.
“What’s the line up?” Mackenzie asked as we walked away.
“In order?” I asked
“Duh.” She said
“Metallica, The Misfits, Of Mice and Men, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Slipknot, Korn, All Time Low, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Motionless in White, Marilyn Manson, Avenged Sevenfold, Bring Me The Horizon, Falling In Reverse, Memphis May Fire, Crown the Empire, Sleeping With Sirens, Hollywood Undead, and Pierce The Veil.” I said
“Good line up.” She said
“You know once this thing starts we’re going to be separated.” I said
“I know.” She said
“There’s Avenged.” She said pointing.
“You jump Matt and I’ll jump Jimmy?” I asked
“Yeah if you can reach jump high enough.” She said
“I can.” I smiled
“Why do I always have to jump the shorter ones?” She asked
“Because you’re taller than me and I need the challenge. You think it’s fun only being five foot five?” I asked
“Do you think I like being five foot ten?” She asked
“Ha ha.” I smiled
“Let’s jump these boys.” She said
“Don’t spill that Starbucks.” I said
“I won’t.” She smiled
We started running and she jumped Matt and I jumped Jimmy, it was perfectly timed and I’m glad I actually could jump this high.
“Well, well, well isn’t it our two favorite girlys.” Zacky said looking at Mackenzie.
“I yove you Jim Jim.” I whispered in Jimmy’s ear
“Oh good god you two again.” Jimmy said
He bent down so I could jump off of him but then I surprised him by jumping into his arms. I looked over and Mackenzie was still on Matt’s back playing with his sunglasses.
“Hey Ryan.” Jimmy smiled down at me
“Thank you for not throwing me on the floor like Vengeance would do.” I said sticking my tongue out at Zacky
“Mackenzie Morgan you are needed to Metallica for sound check now we’re backstage.” Was said over the radio’s.
“Looks like green hair is up first.” Matt said
She jumped down and sprinted off.
“You two actually are working today?” Johnny asked
I nodded.
“How’s Kimberly?” I asked Jimmy
“Kim is good, getting big.” He said
Jimmy had four kids, two boys which were twins names Eli and Noah they are twelve, he has a seven year old daughter named Allison and he had a three year old named Kimberly, he is married his wife’s name is Melissa.
“You’re getting old.” I said
“Says you.” He said
“Ryan I think you’re the one who is getting old.” Johnny said
“I’m only twenty-three. All of you guys are thirty two.” I said
Zacky laughed.
“Weirdo.” I said
Zacky was married to a girl named Megan and he has a three year old daughter named Olivia and a one year old son named Jared. Johnny is married to a girl named Jamie but he has no kids, Matt was married but they divorced and he has a son named Austin, and then there is Brian. I love Brian to Pieces but he’s a man whore, a big one. Brian isn’t married but he has five kids and none of them have the same mother, he does visit them and pays their child support but come on Brian like really. He has one that lives with him because her mom died and her name is Alice, she’s the sweetest little girl ever.
“Well I have to go fine some people.” I said
“We’ll see you tonight right?” Brian asked
“Maybe, there is word this thing is going to last two days.” I said
“Thank god.” Johnny said
“Bye guys.” I smiled
Jimmy kissed my forehead and I hugged the rest of them and I walked off sipping my tea and looking at the set list. I read it, in Doug’s favorite font; FangSong.

Doug was definitely a weird guy but damn could he organize twenty bands into sets, I decided to not read the other sets until this one was over.
“Ryan I need your help with Metallica!” I heard Mackenzie cry over the radio.
I pulled it off of my waist.
“I’m on my way.” I said
I threw my empty tea cup away and sprinted to where they were. When I got there Mackenzie looked panicked.
“What’s wrong with the drums?” I asked
“It’s not the drums it’s the cables.” She said
“Which ones?” I asked
“Kirk’s amp cable.” She said
“What happened?” I asked
“Well I was talking while I was setting up Lars’s drums and I accidently cut the cable with something and now it’s shorting out because there is a cut in it and they don’t have and extra one.” She said freaking out.
“Mackenzie calm down, this happens a lot. It’s not your fault.” Kirk said
If you’re confused Kirk is the lead guitarist for Metallica and Lars in the drummer.
“I can fix this.” I said
“Please!” She said
“Calm down!” I said
“The curtains open in five minutes for the first band and if we don’t get this fixed the people are going to be mad.” She said
“No they’ll be fine. Lars can you go get me the duct tape out of Robert’s bass case?” I asked the confused drummer
He nodded and rushed off, when he came back I started to duct tape the cut amp cord, when I was done I looked at Kirk.
“Play a cord.” I said
He nodded and played a minor cord and it came out of the amp.
“Try a major cord.” I said
He did it and it came out just fine.
“Thank you.” Mackenzie said
“We’ll buy a new cable after all of this is done.” Kirk said
“Curtains opening in ten, nine.” Doug started to count.
“Good luck guys.” Mackenzie and I said rushing to the side stage.
Since it was still bright outside they wanted the curtains to be closed for the first band but from now on they will be open and they will just see the Technicians setting crap up.
“It’s going to be a long day.” Mackenzie said
“Guarantee this is going to be split up into two days. Ten bands today, ten tomorrow.” I said
“Probably.” She said
I smiled and we helped The Misfits pull their stuff backstage.
