The stairs creak under my feet as I walk up the stairs slowly, a little freaked out by how scared Andy was to go up. The light of day shines through the window illuminating a room, less covered in nature then the bottom floor, though the hole in the wall at the end of the hall lets a trees branches grow into the house.
“Come on.” I call back to Andy who is already half way up the stairs.
“I’m coming, I’m coming.” She laughs her camera in hand as we look around the floor, I start to walk down the hall opening doors and looking in all the different rooms, some are completely empty while others still have a bed or antique dresser that becomes the object of my photographs.
Completely lost in th Majesty of this unfound ninth wonder of the world. My peacefulness is broken by a loud crash folloed by a blood-churning scream, the foundations of the house shaking dramatically.
The house blurrs around me, I find myself standing over a hole in the floor looking down at the twisted broken body of Andy.
