Alex’s POV

I woke up and the sun was shining brightly into a bedroom that I didn’t know.
I sat up and looked round and really frowned to myself as I looked next to me where I saw Jack asleep and I could hear Jay but it wasn’t from upstairs so I quietly got out of bed and went downstairs to find Jacks mum was sorting Jay out for me.
“You didn’t have to sort him out, I’ve sort of got my body tuned in to when he wakes up then I wake up as well.” I said as Jacks mum turned round and looked at me with a smile and Jay looked at me.
“Dada.” Jay said happily and I smiled at him as I walked over and kissed the top of his head and looked at what Jacks mum had made him for breakfast.
“Well little man was cooing to himself and I checked on you and Jack and you was both still fast asleep so I brought him downstairs with me.” Jacks mum said and I looked at her and smiled.
“You could of woken me up, I don’t mind.” I said as I looked back at Jay who was eating his breakfast.
“Nonsense, you and Jack had a very long stressful day yesterday and you both where tired so you needed to catch up with sleep and get your body onto our body clock. I don’t mind looking after little man for you.” Jacks mum said and I yawned loudly which made Jay look at me.
“Nap.” Jay said and I chuckled as I looked at Jacks mum.
“Yeah daddy is going to have a nap if it’s okay with nana.” I said and Jacks mum looked at me shocked.
“Jack has adopted him so he is legally Jacks son and now your grandson.” I said and Jacks mum smiled as she looked at Jay.
“Just to warn you though, he’s a little monster so don’t be afraid to wake me up if you need to wake me up.” I said as I kissed the top of Jays head and I went back upstairs and climbed back into bed and cuddled into Jacks back which made him sigh loudly but he didn’t move.

When I woke up again I was alone in bed and I could hear Jay laughing downstairs and so I rolled out of bed and pulled one of Jacks hoodies on since I didn’t want people staring at my arms and I went downstairs.
Jack was sat on the floor and Jay was stood up laughing as he threw a toy at Jacks chest which made Jack smile at Jay and he looked up and smiled when he saw me.
“Morning babe.” Jack said as I sat next to him and cuddled into his side as Jack kissed the top of my head.
“Morning.” I said quietly and watched Jay as he frowned a little and took a wobbly step and stood still and then took a couple more wobbly steps until he got t me and Jack and we was smiling proudly at Jay.
“There’s my clever boy.” I said as Jay wobbled over to me and caught hold of my hoodie and stood by me and smiled widely at me which I returned and kissed the side of his head.
“Now this is where the trouble starts.” Jack said and I chuckled as Jay climbed over Jack and sat in the gap of his legs.
I lent against Jack and rested my head on his shoulder and just watched Jay entertain himself and crawled off towards someone and I looked up and saw George.
Jay looked at me and Jack and then back to George.
“So this is the famous Jayden then.” George said as he picked Jay up who looked at George and then back at Jack as they both looked similar.
“That’s our little monster.” Jack said proudly as he looked at me and I smiled at him.
“Can you sit with him for like 5 minutes.” Jack said and I moved from him as he stood up and he offered me his hand which I took and he helped me to stand up.
“Yeah I have him under control.” George said and me and Jack went outside.

Jack offered me a cigarette which I took and looked at Jack.
“How you coping being with my crazy lot?” Jack asked and I looked down.
“Makes me miss home.” I said quietly and I felt Jack pulled me close to him and I looked at him.
“I know it will make you miss home, but after a while it will feel like home again.” Jack said and I smiled at him.
“As long as I have you and Jay I’ll always be at home.” I said quietly and Jack smiled as he lent down and kissed me which I returned.
“I don’t think your dad likes me.” I said and Jack chuckled.
“He’s like it with everyone don’t worry about it. He’ll warm to you soon.” Jack said and I nodded.
“This is going to sound stupid.” I said quietly as I looked down and Jack made me look at him.
“Say it anyway.” Jack said softly and I sighed.
“I feel like Jay is being taken away from us. Don’t get me wrong I like having the help but I feel like I’m being pushed out. Other than you, Jay is the only thing which keeps my mind busy and stops me thinking about doing stuff and I feel like that’s being taken away from me.” I said and felt tears in my eyes and I looked down feeling ashamed of what I just said so I turned my back to Jack.
I felt Jack pull me into his chest and he wrapped a arm around me and rested his chin on my head.
“It’s just until we find our feet with the time zones, by next week Mum will back off and let us do what we have been doing with Jay. So you can use this time to relax and just wrap your head around things and not worry about Jay.” Jack said.
“But it’s my job to worry about him.” I whispered and Jack kissed the top of my head.
“I know, but try not to so much this week.” Jack said quietly and I turned around and looked at him.
“At least we didn’t miss his first steps. That’s the main thing here.” Jack said and I couldn’t help but smile widely.
“Our little boy is growing up too fast.” I said quietly as I cuddled into Jack’s chest.
“He’s going to be 1 by the end of the month.” I said and looked at Jack again and he smiled at me and I returned his smile with a sad smile.
Jack just hugged me and held me close to him.
I say going to say something when George came out with Jay.
“Little man is wanting daddy and is also asking for food.” George said and I smiled at him as I walked over and took Jay from George.
“Thanks for keeping an eye on him.” I said and George smiled and ruffled Jays hair which made Jay look at him and say no to him.
“Anything for my little nephew.” George said as he walked off and I looked at Jack who smiled at me.
“Your family aren’t even pissed that you adopted him. In fact they’re really happy that you’ve adopted him.” I said as Jack walked over and wrapped his arms round me and tried to avoid Jay head butting him.
“I’ve always said I wanted a family with the right person. I’ve found the right person I want to settle with and yeah you had sex with some chick and now little man is here but I wouldn’t have that any other way. I think they want me to get down on one knee.” Jack said and I chuckled as Jack walked round me and looked at me.
“They do realise that I’m 17 and you’re an old fart and nearly 20. But I do like you on your knees.” I said and Jack just smirked at me.
“Actually If little man is nearly one that means your birthday is next month so therefore you are closer to being 18 than being 17 and as for me I’m nearer 19 than what I am to 20 so don’t be call me an old fart.” Jack said and I couldn’t help but chuckle and walk forward and kiss Jack hard which Jack returned.
“Me.” Jay said and we both looked at him and kissed his cheek which made Jay giggle with a big smile on his face.
“Let’s go and feed you then.” I said as we walked inside with Jack slapping my ass as I walked through the door.

Jay was talking to his food while he was eating and I just sat round the island and watched him with a smile on my face and because of that I forgot where I was and just rolled my sleeves up just as Jack’s mum walked in the kitchen.
“Sweetie, what happened to your arms?” Jack’s mum asked which made me jump and I looked at her and then looked at my arms and quickly rolled down the sleeves.
“I have mental health problems. It’s nothing really.” I said quietly and Jack’s mum sat opposite me and I stood up and pulled Jay closer to us since I. Guessing this is going to be a long deep conversation.
“It is something Alex, especially after everything which you and your sister have been through.” Jack’s mum said and I sighed and looked down.
“I have bipolar.” I said quietly as it’s something I don’t like sharing and I looked at Jack’s mum who had a smile on her face.
“Well you are a very strong person Alexander.” Jack’s mum said and I frowned slightly as I looked down.
“Please call me Alex, I feel like I’m getting told off by mum or dad all over again.” I said quietly and Jack’s mum chuckled slightly.
“I know I’ll never be able to replace your mum but if you ever need to talk to someone who isn’t Jack then I’m here. I don’t mind stepping in and being that mother figure you want.” Jack’s mum said and I looked at here and smiled.
“You don’t have too.” I whispered and Jack’s mum put her hand over mine.
“I want to. Jack’s pretty much all grown up and doesn’t want me and it’s the same with George and Izzy. You’re still young yourself Alex and you just need that woman figure in your life.” Jack’s mum said and I nodded because I did miss mum, I missed her more than what I do with dad and I miss dad a awful lot.
“I just wanted mum to see Jay, To tell me off when a girl dumped him on me and say that I was stupid of not wrapping it and just watching him grow and tell me when I’ve messed up.” I said quietly as I looked at Jay who was covered in food and looked proud of himself.
“Well take it from a mother’s view, you are doing a amazing job with Jay. Don’t put yourself down saying that you’re not because you are, you and Jack are doing such a good job on raising this beautiful little boy. Your mum may not be here to watch him grow up but she’ll be watching over him. Both your parents will be watching over you and Jay and they will probably want to bang there heads against the wall.” Jack’s mum said and I couldn’t help but smile.
“You’re a really good dad Alex. Don’t let your problems bring you down and tell you other things.” Jack’s mum said as she stood up and walked round the island and stood beside me and I looked at her confused and then it clicked so I stood up and Jack’s mum pulled me into a hug.
“You’ve been family since you been with Jack. You will always be family to us Alex okay. We are always here if you need us.” Jack’s mum said and kissed the side of my head.
“Dada.” Jay said but I just ignored him enjoying this hug I was having.
“Not meant to be stealing my boyfriend mum.” I heard Jack say and I let go of Jack’s mum and looked at Jack who was cleaning Jay off.
“Oh I don’t know, he’s kinda cute Jacky.” Jack’s mum said and Jack looked at him mum seriously but then he smiled.
“If only you was younger, then you could of been in for a chance. But you can’t as you have dad and Alex is mine.” Jack said and I chuckled as I walked over to Jack and kissed him while trying to miss Jay grabbing hands which was covered in food.
Jack’s dad walked in the kitchen and walked behind Jack’s mum and pulled her to his side and kissed the top of her head.
We left them two to it and went to clean Jay up and went outside but it was too hot so we stayed inside where Jay went exploring.

“So mum and dad are thinking about having a welcome home and a welcome to the family party for us. If you want that.” Jack said as I rested my head on his lap and I could hear Jay so it was a good sign that he wasn’t causing trouble.
“Yeah I like that idea, but what about Jay? I mean he is one grumpy baby at the moment.” I said and Jack chuckled as he started to mess with my hair.
“It’s only because he’s jet lagged still, give him until the weekend and he’ll be fine and it’ll be the same for us and then we can get drunk in true Barakat style.” Jack said and I chuckled as I yawned and I couldn’t hear Jay anymore.
“This child will be the death of me.” I said as I sat up.
“Jayden where are you?” I said as I got up and went looking for Jay.
“Has anyone seen Jay?” I asked loudly enough to be heard.
“He’s crashed in the hallway.” George said and I smiled and walked to the hallway where Jay had crashed using one of the stairs as a cushion.
“Come on buddy, it’s not very comfy here.” I said as I gently picked him up and I went upstairs and went to mine and Jack’s room and got into bed with Jay and I just watched him sleep.
A couple of minutes later Jack came upstairs and I felt him sit on the bed.
“Move over then.” Jack said softly and I gently pushed Jay over and moved over and Jack climbed into bed behind me and he kissed the back of my head.
“I love you.” Jack whispered.
“I love you too.” I whispered as Jack got himself comfy around me and pulled me into his chest and we fell asleep.

I was woken up by Jay hitting my chest and giggling.
“Don’t wake daddy up, he’ll be all grumpy with you and me.” I heard Jack say and Jay just laughed with a big smile on his face.
“Dada up.” Jay said and pointed at me.
“Don’t give the game away child.” I said and forced Jay to have cuddles with me and Jack which made him laugh loudly as Jack began to tickle him.
“No.” Jay laughed and I just smiled and joined in on ganging up on Jay.
“Okay lets leave him alone now.” I said to Jack and Jack chuckled as he stopped ticking Jay.
Jack rolled onto his back and I straddled him and Jack frowned at me.
“Don’t worry, that’s not on my mind at the moment.” I said and Jack chuckled as he placed his hands on my hips and squeezed them slightly.
“Dada.” Jay said and climbed on Jack’s chest and stood up and caught hold of my top for balance and bounced on Jack’s chest.
“Up Dada.” Jay said.
“Don’t Jay otherwise you’ll kill Dada and I wouldn’t like that.” I said and got hold of Jay and rolled of Jack holding Jay who was laughing.
I gave Jay a Eskimo kiss which made him laugh again and he held my head close to his which made me smile and kiss the end of his nose.
“Love you champ.” I said quietly and I felt myself being pulled towards Jack’s chest.
“You getting jealous of the baby?” I asked as I rolled over to face Jack.
“Might be.” Jack said and I chuckled and I gave him a Eskimo kiss as well.
“No need to be jealous, you have one half of my heart and Jay has the other half.” I said and kissed the end of his nose as I felt Jay climb over me and wanted to be involved in mine and Jack’s cuddle.
“And who said you could join mine and dadas cuddle?” Jack asked and Jay pointed at me which made me chuckle.
“I didn’t invite you.” I said and put my arm both over Jay and Jack.
There’s was a knock at the door and I lifted my head up over Jack and saw his mum.
“Dinner is nearly ready if you want anything to eat.” Jack Mum said quietly and Jay looked at her and opened his arms up to her which made her look at me for permission.
“Take him, I just want cuddles and then we’ll be down.” I said and Jack’s mum chuckled as she walked into the room and picked Jay up and he wiggles out of her hold so Jack’s mum put him on the floor and he got himself up and wobbly walked towards the door and the biggest smile came onto my face.
“He’s so grown up.” Jack’s mum said as she walked out the room with him and she shut the door behind them which I was happy about.
Jack rolled me onto my back and pinned me to the bed.
“Not now.” I chuckled but Jack just ignored me and kissed my neck and was leaving marks on my skin.
“Fine, but it has to be quick as I’m hungry.” I said and Jack smiled as he pulled my jumper off and worked down my body.

When we went downstairs it was obvious what we was doing since we was both covered in hickies and had really bad sex hair.
“I hope you brushed your teeth before you kissed him.” Jack’s mum said and I frowned at her a bit.
“He’s a sallower not a spitter.” Jack said and I glared at him hoping he would look at me but he didn’t.
“Don’t need to know about your sex life Jack.” Jack’s dad said as he walked into the room and sat down at the head of the table.
I looked down and messed with my hands as I reminded me of Mum and dad when we used to sit down for dinner, after dad died I haven’t really sat at the table since.
“Excuse me for a minute.” I said quietly and I got up and walked out the room and went to mine and Jack’s room.
We had a suitcase which had all of our sentimental items in and I opened the suitcase up and looked for the photo album mum made me before she died for my birthday.
I looked through the photos and thought about how Jack’s family was a awful like the one I once had and I felt some tears roll down my cheek as I got to the picture of me and mum when I was little on their wedding day.
“Baby?” I heard Jack saw from the door.
“Can I have some space please.” I sniffed and I heard Jack walk over and sit on the bed next to me.
“I’ll give you some space, but tell me you are going to be okay and do nothing stupid.” Jack said softly.
“I’m okay, I can’t say anything on the stupid side though.” I whispered and Jack kissed the side of my head.
“I’m always here okay, just give me a call if you need me and here’s my hoodie you can cuddle up to if you like.” Jack said and I smiled as I nodded.
“Hoodie sounds good.” I sniffed and Jack chuckled as he looked for a hoodie and once he found it he gave it to me.
“Talk to me if you need to talk to someone okay. I’m always here for you.” Jack said quietly as he kissed the side of my head and he walked out the room.
I just cuddled Jack’s hoodie until I fell asleep.

“Babe, Baby wake up.” I heard someone say and I opened my eyes and saw Jack who had a wash of relief on his face.
“Jesus I thought you was dead.” Jack said as he let out a breath.
“Sorry, guess I was really tired.” I said quietly as I slowly woke up.
“It’s okay, come downstairs and join us. We’re having a couple of beers around the fire outside.” Jack said as he sat on the bed.
“What about the baby?” I asked and Jack smiled as he lent down and kissed me which I returned.
“The baby has had a bath and he is in bed. It’s now adult time.” Jack said and I smiled which Jack returned.
“Come on babe, come meet the family.” Jack said and I nodded and Jack moved off me and he pulled the covers off and he just smirked at me as I took my top off since I got hot.
“Please, we are not doing it now. Not when we’re about to go downstairs and I’m going to actually sit down and proper meet your family.” I said and Jack chuckled.
“We went downstairs with Seriously sex hair and hickies earlier and mum never cared.” Jack said and I just slapped his chest.
“The answer is no, maybe later though.” I said as I sat up and kissed Jack which made him move and he watched me get off the bed and pull his hoodie on.
“Babe you don’t have to hide your arms, you’ll see that Izzy has scars. There’s nothing to be ashamed off.” Jack said as he stood up and hugged me from behind.
“They still love you no matter if you have scars or not. They love you even more to the fact you have a kid and making me settle down.” Jack said and I chuckled slightly.
“Okay I won’t wear a hoodie, but I’m taking it with me though.” I said and Jack kissed my neck which made me smile.
“Let’s go downstairs hot stuff.” Jack said as he slapped my ass as he walked past me which made me smile as I followed him.

“So Alex, What’s the plan now then?” Jack’s dad, Bassam asked me.
“Don’t know really, kind of can’t go to college with a kid although I could still go to college but at the same time I don’t want to risk Jack’s future. So probably finding a job will be a start.” I said and I frowned slightly as me and Luna have half of dads business which brings a lot of money it.
“Don’t have to worry about me, I can help dad at his place.” Jack said and I looked at him.
“Okay, you two aren’t having a tiff over this. This is family time without the kids.” Izzy said as she reached for hers and her partners drink and I noticed some scars on her arm and I looked at her and she smiled at me which I returned shyly and I looked down.
“It’s just your kids, Alex’s and Jack’s isn’t out of diapers yet and only eats shits and sleeps.” George said and Jack scoffed.
“Not true actually, he’s up and running so nobody is safe and he has a big mouth on him as well so we won’t be losing him any time soon.” Jack said and I chuckled as I put my legs on top of Jack’s lap and he wrapped his arms round my legs as he laughed about something.
“When is your sister coming?” Jack’s mum asked.
“Something has come up with Luna’s partner family so she isn’t able to come as they are going to Wales.” I said and Jack’s mum almost looked upset about it.
“She’s going inside a actual whale?” George asked and we all just looked at him as George doesn’t really have many brain cells.
“No dumbass, there’s a place from Alex’s motherland called Wales. It’s like another state for whatever.” Jack said and I chuckled.
“So why haven’t you picked up a British accent Jack?” Izzy asked.
“I have, there’s some words I’ve picked up that I would t normally say.” Jack said.
“Christ I hope he’s more of a gentleman than what he was when we left him in England.” Bassam said and I chuckled.
“Yeah he’s a proper gent now, don’t know I would do without him.” I said as Jack looked at me and smiled and I kissed him which Jack returned.
“Please guys, keep it PG.” Jack’s mum said and we both chuckled as we pulled back and I rested my head on Jack’s shoulder.
“What the baby isn’t around.” Jack said and I just rolled my eyes slightly.
I moved and sat beside Jack and finished my beer as I stood up which made Jack look at me in a confused.
“I’m going to bed.” I said and Jack smiled as I lent down and kissed.
“Can always join me in the shower if you want to join.” I whispered in his ear and stood up and said good night to everyone and went upstairs where I quickly checked on Jay who was fast asleep and I went to Jack’s room and grabbed a towel and went to the bathroom.

I was singing quietly to myself in the shower when the curtain got pulled back dramatically.
“What the fuck.” I said as I turned round to cover myself when I saw Jack chuckling and with a smirk on his face.
“Jesus Jack you trying to give me a heart attack?” I asked as I turned back round to face the water and I could hear Jack undress himself and joining me in the shower.
“You shouldn’t be so jumpy.” Jack said quietly as he started to kiss my shoulder.
“You shouldn’t sneak up on me.” I said as I melted into Jack’s touch.
“Element of surprise, got to love it.” Jack said as he moved his hands down my body.
I turned round to face Jack.
“As much as I love this but I’m feeling very fucking horny right now.” I said bluntly and Jack chuckled as he smirked at me.
“Are you now?” Jack asked as I saw the little light bulb go in Jack’s mind.
“Babe no please, just fuck me it’s been ages as well.” I pouted at him.
“Might just have to make you wait.” Jack said and I really pouted and pulled on Jack’s arm.
“Please, I literally feel like a fucking toddler who doesn’t get their own way right now and I will have a tantrum.” I said and Jack really did smirk at me.
“I don’t like that smirk.” I said and Jack moved and pinned me to the wall.
Jack just pecked my lips which made me smile a return.
“Well let’s see what I can do for you then. But just remember, we’re not the only ones in the house.” Jack said as he gently spun me round.

“I’ll try and keep the noise down.” I said as Jack kissed down my spine.
