Alex's POV

We go to the hospital and Jack wasn't responding and I had Jasey with Jack in the back panicking.
I parked the car and quickly got out the car and went to the back.
"Jase, I know it's hard but I need you to calm down for me. Can you do that for me?" I said and looked at her and Jasey nodded and she took a big shakey breath.
"Come on we need to go now." I said and picked Jack up and we headed towards the A&E unit.

"I need a bed." I said as I got to the desk and the nurse behind it looked at me.
"Alex what you doing here? Your meant to be off." The nurse said.
"My friend, please we need a bed and he really needs medical attention right now." I said quickly and looked at Jack and then to Jasey who had hold of the back of my top and biting her nails.
"Follow me." The nurse said and we followed her into a bed.
"Get me the doctor quickly." I said to the nurse and she nodded as I put my gloves on and went over to Jack and took his hoodie and top off.
"Jase, did you know Jack self harmed?" I asked not looking at her as I was working on getting this needle in Jacks hand so I can get bloods from him.
"He's said something about it but I didn't know it was this bad." Jasey whispered sounding like she was going to cry.
"Jase, I'm going to be needing you to give me information about Jack okay. Can you do that for me?" I asked as I got the bloods I wanted and I looked at Jacks arm.
"What do you need to know?" Jasey asked quietly.
"Has Jack got any health problems? Takes any medication?" I asked as I looked at Jasey.

A couple of nurses came in and they took over and I put all my focus on Jasey.
"Jasey focus on me, tell me about Jack." I said and took her outside of the room.
"He went blind when he was 10. He never told me how he went blind but I know there's no way his sight can come back. He has nothing wrong with him, I don't think he takes medication. Is he going to be okay Alex? I don't want to lose my best friend." Jasey said and I smiled at her and pulled her into a hug which she returned.
"I can't say anything Jase. He's lost a lot of blood and he is unconscious as well. I am not going to get your hopes up and say everything is going to be fine because that would be giving you false hope and that is just cruel to give you that. So I don't know if he's going to be okay." I said and a doctor tapped my shoulder and I turned round and looked at him.
"Can you give information about Jack?" He asked and I nodded and we stepped in side the cubicle and pulled the curtain shut.
"What can you tell me about Jack?" He asked and looked at Jack who was now on a having bloods and was being monitored closely.
"Jack is 17 years old and he is blind in both eyes due to some incident when he was 10 years old. I believe he was beaten by a family which then resulted in him self harming and having 6 deep cuts on his left arm." I said and looked at Jack.
"The police are here Alex." Jasey said and I looked and saw two police officers.
"Okay Jase, you call pops and ask him to pick you up and take you home. I'll stay with Jack tonight." I said and Jasey looked at me and shook her head.
"I'm staying with him. I need to stay with him Alex." Jasey said.
"Fine, by I have to stay as well." I said and Jasey nodded.
The doctor left us and we said our versions to the police all we had to do was wait for Jack to wake up and give them his version on what happened to him.

It was late and Jack was still in A&E since he was still out of it but he was responding so it meant he could wake up soon.
"Christ this boring." Jasey said and I chuckled.
"What we going to do Jase? I don't want him to go back his mothers." I said and frowned as looked at his side which was a deep purple.
"He can live with us, you'll be moving into your apartment soon and Jack can either stay with us or live with you." Jasey said and I looked at her confused.
"Come on I see the way you look at him, you like him don't you Lex." Jasey said and I shook my head.
"Don't be stupid Jase. He's a minor and I'm a adult it's just not going to work." I said and looked back at Jack and smiled slightly at him.
"So, that doesn't stop people anyway he's going to be 18 in like a month so that's not a problem. It could work, Jack might be blind but he knows a lot of stuff and he's a bright lad. Also I've heard he is good in bed and he's gay so there's a plus for you." Jase said and I looked at her and rolled my eyes.
"So your hooking us up then?" I asked and Jasey smiled.
"I might be, look you have had some shit boyfriends and so has Jack. You never know you two could hit it off and you'll be like a power couple of the world representing the gays." Jasey said and I laughed.
"Dick power." I said and Jasey chuckled.
"Exactly! Anyway, you need to think of dates and how to win Jack over." Jasey said.
"Jase, I don't even know if I like him like that." I said and Jasey gave me this look.
"Well that's bullshit because I've seen the way you look at him and the way you was when we was at his. You like him and you should fucking get on and plan shit amd woo Jack." Jasey said and I smiled.
"Woo Jack?" I asked confused.
"Oh my god. Really you fucking shitting me right now Alex." Jasey said.
"What, all the dates I've been on end up with me having sex with them." I said.
"That's because your a slut." Jasey said and I playfully hit her shoulder.
"You can't say much." I said.
"That's because I'm that good they just keep on coming back." Jasey said and I rolled my eyes and looked at the time and saw it was 2 in the morning.
"Cigarette and try to get some sleep?" I ask and Jasey nodded and we got up and went outside had a cigarette and went back to Jack and got as comfortable as we could and went to sleep.
