I Don't Love You

"Come on, Josh!" I hollered. "I really don't feel like being late!" I stood at the front door, hand on my hips and impatiently waiting for Josh to finish getting ready. I swear he takes longer to get ready than a girl does.

"I'm coming, Y/N! Just a second! I can't get this damn tie on right. I swear, I'm an idiot." I heard Josh mumble the last part as I went to help him. I turned Josh around and quickly fixed his knotted tie. I giggled to myself, shaking my head while Josh looked at me as if I grew two different heads over night.

“Do I need to teach you how to tie a tie when we get home?” I giggled as Josh puffed in embarrassment.

“Maybe.” He gave me an annoyed look as I laughed. Then, he gave me a goofy grin. I almost melted at his cuteness.

“Hey, Y/N. Aren’t we going to be late?” He smirked as my eyes widened in realization, grabbing his hand and quickly pulling him out of the room. I drug him down the stairs and pulled him out the front door as he laughed.

“Relax Y/N. We’ll be fine.” I glared at josh as he gave me a look that said ‘Calm the hell down.’

“We won’t be fine if we end up being late. Now come on!” The reason that I was so freaked out is the fact that we we’re going to be meeting the band that would be opening for the one that he manages. It would now leave a good impression on them if we were late.

We were almost late, but got there just on time. A man with his hair pulled into some sort of messy quiff greeted us.

“Hello. My name is Matt Flyzik. You were right on time.” Josh and Matt shook hands politely and greeted each other.

“Now.” Matt said. “Who is this lovely lady?” I blushed at the man’s words. Josh smiled at me.

“This is my lovely girlfriend F/N L/N.” Matt held his hand out for me to shake.

“Hello, Y/N. My name is Matt.” I grinned at him while I shook his hand.

“It’s very nice to meet you, Mr. Flyzik.” I let go of his hand. Matt talked to Josh for a little bit longer. He said something about the band being a bunch of ‘Hyperactive freaks with no common sense. He led us to a room and opened the door, revealing a bunch of boys wrestling and fighting, whilst one was sitting on a couch, shaking his head in disappointment.

“Everyone!” Matt ended everyone’s rampage, them settling down in a seat. I looked at the boys one by one and felt familiarity. Who were these people? I got the answer I needed when someone ran up to me screaming my name.

“Y/N!” I felt terrified until I looked at the face of my attacker. Once I got a good look at them, I realized it was none other than Jack Barakat. I froze in my spot. Wait. His band is here? Oh dear lord. If Jack’s band was here, then that must mean HE is here.

“Get off of the poor girl, Jack.” Matt said, chuckling lightly. “You’re probably scaring her.” I shrunk away as Jack let go of me. He had an apologetic look on his face.

“I’m sorry, Y/N. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Jack said with a hint of worry and sadness in his eyes.

“It’s okay. I just wasn’t ready for it.” I finished my sentence off by holding my arms out for a hug. Jack hugged me and I saw Alex glaring at us from behind Jack’s shoulder. He has absolutely no right to be glaring over here, whether it be towards Jack or myself. He looked away after a few moments, locking my gaze for a moment. When Jack and I let go of eachother, I went back to my boyfriend, who was now Alex’s target.

“Okay everyone. I would like you all to meet Josh and his girlfriend, Y/N.” Everyone’s eyes widened, including Alex, who looked upset. Well, if you wanted this, you wouldn’t have cheated. Josh and I both waved, and I ignored Alex’s gaze. If that was even possible. Alex’s eyes followed me everywhere that I went, and I was beginning to get creeped out.

“Hey, don’t you have you’re own girlfriend to look at? Because you’re creeping mine out, and it is starting to bother her that she can’t go anywhere without you looking at her.” Josh called Alex out for staring, and I hugged him, saying thank you.

I can’t believe that Josh is going on tour with these guys. I would feel purely tortured. Josh went with Matt and the band to go speak with them about tour arrangements, leaving me alone in the room we first entered, and allowing me to go into thought. Why did Alex have to be here? Why couldn’t Josh’s band be going on tour with someone like blink 182 or Sum 41?

I was so into thought that I never noticed the boys get back, so when Josh hugged me from behind, I jumped, making everyone in their brother chuckle. Other than Alex at least. Ugh. Alex. If only I knew how to fully get rid of him for good. If only...
