Fire in the sky.

Alex's POV

"Fucking hell Alex you really stink." Noah said as him and Brooke came over.
"Well that's what happens when you share a bed and steal clothes from a wolf so you have to put up with my new canine smell." I said.
"What have you been up too Alex?" Noah asked and notched my arm with his elbow.
"He's been fucking Jack." Brooke said.
"Okay, that was once and I haven't slept with him since." I said and looked at Brooke.
"Then how come you two was kissing this morning?" She asked and raised a eyebrow at me.
"Did you see that? Christ I thought no one was looking." I groaned.
"Well you did make out with him in the corridor, you my dear friend are now the latest gossip." She said.
"Just kill me now." I said and threw my head back.
"Hey, if you like him then just go after him. Fuck what everyone else says. They say that me and Noah aren't a good mix because apparently I'm hot headed and Noah is shy and awkward." Brooke said.
"You are hot headed, and Noah is shy and awkward. Sorry Noah." I said.
Brooke just glared at me and Noah chuckled.
"But seriously Lex, he makes you happy by the looks of things and he's given you the most precious thing a wolf can own. You got yourself a good one so keep him close." Brooke said and looked at the bracelet Jack gave me.
"I need to go to lesson." I said and went to my lesson which was charms which I quite liked.

School had finished and I was putting my books away and getting what books I needed to do my school work when I heard someone walk over and lent against a locker.
"Well hey there beautiful." Jack said which made me blush as I looked at him.
"Well hey there yourself." I said and Jack smiled.
"So what we studying tonight?" Jack asked as he took my books from me which made me blush again.
"Well I have some stuff up my sleeve." I said and moved towards Jack and pecked him on the lips.
I moved back and looked at Jack who had a smile on his face.
"After you my good sir." Jack said and I just rolled my eyes at him and shut my locker and we went to my room.

"I was meant to say this the last time round, but you really fucking love your plants for something." Jack said as he looked round my room.
"Its just a bloody cactus and some other flowers." I said and sat on my bed.
"Its odd." Jack said.
"And I'm different, so shut the hell up." I said and looked at Jack.
"I know your different. Which is why I want to try something with you." Jack said as he walked over to me.
I looked at him confused as he sat on my bed.
"Your good at compelling people, you can heal people. There is probably loads what you can do. I want you to make this plant grow and then you can keep it." Jack said and handed me a pot, seed and soil.
"You want me to grow a plant?" I asked confused.
"Yeah." Jack said.
I sighed and put the soil in the pot along with the seed.
"You won't think I'm odd when it works will you?" I asked and looked at Jack.
"No, you know what we are and whatever you do will just make you more unique." Jack said and I smiled and focused on the pot and the seed.
Within a few seconds the flower started to grow and once it was a proper flower I stopped and looked at Jack who looked really shocked.

"Ta da." I said to get rid of some of the awkwardness.
"We need to go and see the head." Jack said and got off the bed.
"But you said you didn't care. Why do we need to go to the head for? I haven't done anything wrong." I said quickly beginning to panic.
"Lex I don't care, we need to go to the head because your power might the rarest power out there. I know you done nothing wrong, we just need to talk to the head." Jack said and walked over to me and kissed the top of my head.
"But she thinks I'm crazy, everyone thinks I'm crazy though." I said.
"I don't think your crazy." Jack said quietly.
I looked at him.
"Please, seeing the head might actually help you and you'll get the support what you need for this." Jack said and I just nodded.
"Come on then." Jack said and helped me up.

We got to the heads office and Jack knocked on the door.
The head came out and looked at us.
"We need to talk to you." Jack said and the head looked at me.
"He's a spirit user." Jack said and I looked at him confused and the head looked at Jack.
"Explain?" The head said and moved and me and Jack walked in.
"He compelled Seth and Luna, something which never happens, he healed my arm when it had a cut on it and he grew the plant." Jack said and pointed to the plant I was holding.
"Well that's interesting." The head said and looked at me.
"Alex, have you felt more emotional lately? Despite what has happened to your family?" She asked.
"Been feeling exactly how normal people would feel. But I guess I've been more emotional." I said.
"How did you feed while you was AWOL?" She asked.
"You asked me that question already. I fed on dead animals as killing animals isn't in my nature and I'm not going to feed of people." I said.
"Did you ever bring a animal back from the dead?" She asked and I stayed quiet and looked down.
"Alex?" Jack said.
"Yeah." I whispered.
"But it was someone's pet, they where looking everywhere for it and I found it dead on the road so I brought it back to life and gave it back to its family so they didn't have to find him dead on the road." I said quickly explaining myself.
"Has anything else out of the ordinary been happening to you?" The head asked.
I looked at Jack for help.
"You can tell me Alex, I know what it is like to be you because I'm in the same boat as you." She said and I looked at her.
I felt some wind go through my hair.
"I maybe a air user but I know what its like to be a spirit user, just open up." She said and I nodded.
"I can hear thoughts which aren't mine and everyone has a colour round them, like when Jack is round me his light is as bight as anything." I said and looked at Jack who smiled at me.
"And you are also good at charms?" The head asked.
"Yeah, but the other students don't really like it because I tend to get it right first time round and all that." I said.
"Have you ever made anything move by thinking about it?" She asked.
"What like this?" I asked and looked at this chair and focused on it and made it move to the other side of the room.
"Is there anything else you can do?" She chuckled.
"I dunno." I said.
"Alex I need you to research this power as there is so little of you." She said.
"Why do you say that?" I asked.
"Do your research, but right now you and Jack need to go back to your dorms for the night." She said.
"Eye eye captain." Jack said and we walked out the room.

We got to my room and I was still confused.
"Is it bad that I'm a spirit user?" I asked Jack as I cuddled into his side.
"Depends on how much you use your gifts." Jack said and I sat up and looked at him.
"Look don't pretty your little head about it, just go to sleep and we'll look it up tommorow." Jack yawned.
I lead back down and put my head on Jacks chest.
"Night Jack." I said quietly and Jack just hummed in respond and fell asleep.
