Alex's POV

I woke up over heating since Jack was like a human hot water bottle.
"Jack I'm too hot." I said and tried to push him off me but couldn't.
"Jack you're hurting me." I whined and Jack sort of moved but it wasn't much.
I sighed loudly.
"Oi asshole get the fuck off me!" I said loudly and Jack woke up and moved while looking at me hurt.
"You don't like me do you?" He asked quietly.
I moved and sat on him and kissed him hard.
"I was over heating, I'm not a wolf Jack, you have to remember that. I'm a vampire. I don't have that whole thermal heating thing like you do." I said.
Jack looked at me.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you." I said and skimmed my lips against his.
Jack moved so I was under him.
"Your forgiven." He said and kissed me.

After our morning of activites we went downstairs.
I was just hiding behind Jack since I didn't know the wolves what so ever.
"Finally remembered where the food was then?" The girl said.
"The next time you two at fucking keep the noise down." Another wolf said.
"Can't help it that I'm that good in bed." Jack said.
"What's that on your neck?" The girl said.
"Nothing Luna, don't fuss." Jack said and looked at her hard.
"You let him bite you!?" The girl said and looked at me and Jack.
"I didn't want him to." I said.
"My choice Luna. End off." Jack growled.
"Don't you growl at her Jack." Seth growled at Jack.
Seth walked over to Jack and pulled his head to the side harshly and I got up and pushed Seth off Jack and hissed at him showing my fangs at him.
"You do not touch him!" I shouted at Seth.
Seth stared at me in shocked.
"Lex calm down, its just the spirit." Jack said quietly.
"It is not the spirit talking. This is me standing up for the person I love." I growled at Jack.
"The only person who can touch Jack is me. And if anyone touches him you are dead." Alex threatened and looked at me.
His eyes softened when he looked at me which made me smile.
"Okay so that's settled, food you two?" The girl said.
"Yes please." Jack said and looked at me.
"I'm not hungry thanks." I said.
"Alex you have to eat, you haven't eaten for 2 days." Jack said.
"And I said I'm not hungry so drop the fucking subject." I snapped and looked at him hard.
Jack glared at me hoping I would back down but I wasn't going to back down.
"I'm not a wolf Jack. If you think I'm backing down you have another thing coming." I growled at him.
"If you want to fight about this then go outside and wait for while I have something to eat since I'm starving." Jack said quietly in my ear as he walked past me towards the food.
I just huffed and walked out the room and wondered somewhere and sat on the floor and banged my head against the wall and ran my hands through my hair out of frustration.

I heard someone walking through the room and I sniffed loudly and wiped my eyes in Jacks hoodie.
"Oh thank god Alex, we all thought you did something." The girl said and knelt in front of me.
"You mean cut myself or even kill myself. Sadly my crazy head isn't that bad yet." I said.
"Jack is worried sick about you sweetie. He's looking all over the place for you." She said.
"He doesn't care. No one fucking cares about me. Not anymore." I said quietly and looked down and messed with the charm which Jack gave me.
"Darling that isn't true. Jack cares about you, your friends care about you. The pack cares about you. You have people who care about you. You just have to let yourself know that Alex." She said.
"Everyone just sees me as a freak though. The royal with no family, the royal who has no power in that world. I'm just a freak nobody likes." I said.
"Your not a freak, your different, your unique. Everyone called me a freak because I'm the only she wolf in the pack. The only one who can transform into a wolf. Your different and people don't like different." She said.
I just sniffed and wiped my nose in the sleeve.
"Alex! I've been bloody worried sick about you!" Jack said as he rushed over and sat next to me and pulled me to his side and I just hid my face in his side and cried.
"Its okay, I'm not going anywhere." Jack said quietly and kissed the top of my head.
"I'll leave you too alone." The girl said and got up and left.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." I sobbed into his chest as Jack pulled me onto his lap.
"Its okay." Jack said quietly.
"No its not." I sobbed.
Jack gently pushed me back and looked at me and wiped the the tears away from my cheeks.
"Lex its okay. Everything is going to be okay. Don't let the spirit get to you." He said and kissed the end of my nose.
I smiled and sniffed.
"Come on, you need food." Jack said and gently pushed me off him and he got up and helped me up.
Jack picked me up and we went back to that room we was in earlier.

I was cuddled into Jacks side as him and the others played on some game thing since it was the weekend and we didn't have anything better to do.
The girl came in and sat with us.
"How you feeling Alex?" She asked.
"Okay I guess." I said quietly and moved away from Jack who quickly looked at me before going back to his game.
"Walk? I find that walks clear my head, especially with rowdy lot, it can get to you." She said.
I looked at Jack feeling unsure about this.
"You can go, Luna won't hurt you." Jack said and looked at me.
I smiled and kissed his cheek and followed the girl.

"I dont think ive told you my name have I?" She asked as we walked towards the out house.
I was wrapped up in as many layers as I could where as the girl was just walking round in shorts and a T-shirt.
"No you haven't." I said.
We sat down and the girl chuckled quietly.
"I'm Luna." She said and offered me her hand and I shook it.
"So you and Jack? Never thought I would see him finding someone. Especially a handsome man like yourself." She said and I looked down and blushed a little.
"He's given you his good luck charm? A wolf never gives that up for anyone." She said and took hold of my hand and looked at Jacks charm.
"He said that I needed more than him." I said quietly.
Luna smiled.
" He's a good kid, he'll look after you as you already know. He's just misunderstood. But he's a lovely lad, he can get a bit carried away sometimes." Luna chuckled
I smiled and looked towards the darkness.
"Tell me about yourself then." She said and sat back.
"Um, I'm Alex, I'm a royal. Apparently I'm a spirit user. I have no family, I went AWOL for 6 months. I also believe that Jack is my mate." I said and looked at Luna who was smiling.
"We should get back. Seth and Jack will start to worry otherwise." She said and stood up I followed her lead.
"So you and Seth?" I asked.
"Seth is the alpha of this pack. Which means if you know your animals you know what that makes me." She said.
"The top bitch." I said and Luna laughed.
"You got that right kiddo." She said and we got inside.

I went over and cuddled into Jacks side since I was cold and it made Jack chuckle and put his arm round me since everyone was watching a film.
"You okay?" Jack asked quietly.
"Yeah." I whispered and cuddled ore into his side.
"Just in a cuddley mood?" Jack asked and started to mess with my hair and I rested my head in his shoulders.
"Could say that." I muttered and messed with the bracelet Jack gave me and watched the film.
"Come on sleeping beauty let's go to bed." I heard Jack say and I felt him move and me being picked up.

"Help me out and lift your hips up so I can take your trousers off at least." I heard Jack say.
"No, just let me sleep." I muttered and moved away a little.
"And sleeping in tight skinny jeans doesn't do your balls any good. Even though you do look good in them." He said and I felt him sit on me.
"Don't care about my balls, I just want to sleep." I said quietly.
"You say that now, but you'll be moaning when they hurt in the morning." He said.
I just huffed and lifted my hips up.
"Fucking take them off then if you care about my balls that much." I said and threw my arm over me eyes.
I felt Jack pull my trousers down and him getting off me.
"You want to keep your top on or take it off?" Jack asked.
I just sighed loudly.
"Shell we take it off then you don't have to worry about over heating in the night." He said.
I felt him set me up and pull the top over my head and Jack gently putting me back down.
I felt his finger on the scar on the stomach.
I rolled over and opened my eyes and put my hand over the scar.
"I never noticed that before." Jack said quietly as he walked round the bed and he took his clothes off leaving him in his pants.
"I don't like it and I don't want to talk about it." I said quietly.
"Was it from the accident?" He asked and I couldn't speak so I just nodded.
"Come here, I won't talk about it anymore if you don't want to." He said and pulled me into his chest.
"Just give me time and I'll talk about it." I said and looked at him.
"I can wait." Jack said and kissed my forehead.
I put my leg over Jacks leg and threw my arm round his waist and put my head on his shoulder.
"Comfy by any chance?" Jack chuckled.
"Very comfy." I muttered and fell asleep.
