(Just wanted to say that further in this chapter Alex says liquid poisoned, before you get confused I have made him say that because of him saying liquid poison to Lily in Chapter 3 when he takes her home. It's an "odd" saying between the both of them.)

Lily's POV

Falling asleep at night for the past two weeks has been hard for me. I kept tossing and turning. Even, when I do, the haunting dreams will wake me. I rolled over when the sun's rays shone through the window.

I got up and noticed the little blue light on my phone flashing, letting me know I had a new message. I saw I'd had a heap of texts and missed calls from Alex. The messages were asking if he could see me again. We hadn't seen each other since the hospital day. I decided to call him back.

"Lily," he said frantically.

"Hey, are you ok?"

"Are you ok?" he swung my question back at me.

"Yea, I am. You didn't answer me."

"I need to see you again...meet me at the cafe."

Before I could reply he hung up, left me feeling quite confused. I shrugged my shoulders as I chucked my phone on my bed.

I quickly had a shower, got dressed and left towards a cafe. The thing is I didn't know which one he meant, until a text from him came through, he was already at Sunny's Diner waiting for me. I knew exactly where it was, just around the corner from where I was now. I turned and saw Alex leaning against the wall. If by coincidence he looked round, his eyes widened and ran over.

After a moment we'd gone in and sat down at a table. He hadn't said anything at all, the sugar sachet, he'd picked up, was a blur as he swung it between his fingers. The quick glances at me, had me wondering what he was thinking. I opened my mouth just as he said, "I've been having flashback type dreams of that night, have you?"

"No," I lied.

He leaned back on the chair. "So...do you trust me to buy you a drink?"

"Another OJ for the young lady."

His haunting voice entered my mind.

The room began to lightly spin. I blinked, in hope of getting control. Pounding in my chest grew stronger as I bolted up from the chair and wiped my hands on my jeans. "I'll get it." I said, placing my hands on the table, steadying myself before trying to get past.

Alex quickly stood up, to block the way. "It's just chemicals," he said calmly.

"What?" I said under my breath.

"How you're acting," he stated, gently placed his arm over my shoulder and guided me to sit back down. "It's the chemicals building inside of you that's making you panic. You lied to me just then. Please Lily, just remember to breathe, fight this anxiety from being liquid poisoned and let me buy you a drink of your choice. I'm a good guy. Come with me if you'd like."

I sighed as I sat back down. He was right. I had to tell him about the dreams.

He studied me. "Let's go out somewhere. Just you and me."

I nodded and stood up. "Ok."

His little chuckle confused me, it stopped me from going any further. "Not now-"

"When then?" I asked.

"Tonight."

"Like on a date?" Something flashed through Alex's eyes as they lit up with his giant smile. "I guess so. So?"

"Ok..."

"Great." He jumped up, walked over and pressed his soft lips to my cheek, which made the pounding in my chest stronger. It was a much nicer feeling than when it happened a moment earlier. He pulled away, "I'll pick you up at 7." The excitement still in his voice.
