Work In Progress
"It's not him."
Lily's POV
When Alex pulled up in the driveway, I'd realised that I hadn't told him where to go or been given any medication from the Hospital.
"How did you know where I live?" I turned to face him, "it's a bit creepy."
He smirked. "Your address was on the clipboard," he rummaged through his jacket pocket and pulled out a box of tablets, "these are for you."
"Thanks...you paid for these?" I took the box from him.
He laughed, shaking his head. "No, they're free. They're like...a packaged deal when you get taken to hospital."
"Oh...yea, I knew that." I unbuckled the seatbelt and opened the door. "Well thanks again."
"No worries Lily. Call me," he smiled. "I wrote my number on the back of the box."
"I'll text you my number." Those words seemed to fall out of my mouth.
"Good. I've got to go. A friend is waiting, take care of yourself." He smiled and drove off.
I opened the door and walked in, to find my mum rushing towards me. "Lil' love, I've been so worried." She swung her arms around me.
"I'm fine." She quickly pulled away, with a startled look in her eyes. "What's got you so smiley?"
I shook my head and strolled towards the kitchen. The smell of cake caught my attention. "Nothing...just happy I'm home with you."
She followed. "As much as I love that excuse, I'm not buying it," she said, peeking in to the oven. "It's to do with that young lad, isn't it?" "What young lad?"
I grabbed a glass from the drying rack and filled it with water. She laughed. "Oh, Lil' love. The young lad that was with you at the Hospital, he told me not to worry about coming, he'll look after you and bring you home after."
I stiffened. "Mum-"
Before I could ask anything about her talking to Alex she interrupted.
"It's ok to have a soft spot for someone that helps you out. I'd love to meet this young lad that's got my daughter all smiley," she giggled.
Heat rushed to my cheeks. "It's not him." I drank the water quickly as she grinned and left. I bolted towards my room, which made the tablets rattle. I smiled as Alex popped up in my mind.

Notes
Another chapter! Sorry it's short. I've injured my fingers on some glass and ended up going to the ER yesterday so couldn't write much. (My fingers are fine.)
@Newyork_xo
I'm glad that you enjoyed this. I might think about another story as this one has been fun to write. Yes, poor Alex, it wasn't meant to end like that but with all the changes and other characters being added it just went in that direction. I know I've said this a lot already but thank you for your comments, I really appreciated getting them. :)
