Alex's POV

The thought of not harming Lily when we'd slept together was the best feeling ever. I was so glad about that. My fuzzy mind worried me, I couldn't remember anything at first but it all quickly flooded back leaving me so relieved.

"A!" Jack came running in, pulling me from my thoughts, trying to get his breath back. "There-there's this girl outside."

"Who?"

"I don't know, she's asking for you to sign her boobs. I-I don't know-"

"Sounds like a weirdo but I guess she's a fan and weird is good," I sighed and was just about to get up when Jack pulled me off the couch instead.

He then pushed me towards the door. "Yea, A. Just get out there. She's even threatened to barge in on ya. Crazy!"

As Jack shoved me out of the the house. I glanced around, no one was there.

"Oh man! Where'd she go?" Jack moaned as he rushed off round the corner. It didn't take him long to come back. My eyes lit up as my dogs bolted towards me. I bent down which caused them to lick me.

"Baz! Peyton!" I glanced up at Jack's huge smile.

"This girl was short man. She tried to lick my face," Jack winked.

I laughed as I tried to calm the dogs down. Their tails wagged so fast they were a blur. "One thing Jack, you should know they're both boys," I smirked as I stood up.

They jumped up at me a bit more before leaving to sniff the place out.

"Well A, the boobs seemed to get your attention hey?" he laughed.

"I've missed them. Thanks. How did Jessi-"

"Dude, she just gave them to me," Jack smiled. "Jessica was like, oh Jacky, if Lexy is with that school girl then I don't want these things in my house," Jack flipped the woollen plait which hung from his hat over his shoulder, imitating Jessica.

I smirked. "They're better off here, than with her."

Jack suddenly threw his arms around me and placed his lips on my cheek, giving me a quick kiss and backed away. "Anything to make A happy."

"Jalex mate," I chuckled, going over towards my dogs.

"It's real dude! Can't hide it, we're out now! Say goodbye to Lily!"

"No way!" I shouted back, ignoring the shitty feeling deep down about not being with her anymore, knowing it was all a joke. The feeling went away as quickly as it arrived.

"Fine! Suit yourself!," Jack began. "I still love ya, A." He laughed and went inside.

"Hey guys," I went to stroke Peyton and then Baz. Apart from Lily, these were the most important people in my life. Yes I did say people, they were a huge part of my family. I loved them to bits.

"Ohhh, they're soo cute!"

I quickly turned to see Lily's huge excited smile. They both took off, jumped all over her. I smiled as they licked her hand as she went to stroke them. It meant a lot that my dogs approved of my girlfriend.

"That's Baz," I nodded towards the smaller one. "Well Sebastian but Baz for short. The other is Peyton."

"Well hey there boys," she grinned and continued to pet them. After the sloppy intro's were done Lily walked over. "I've got the job with Matt."

"That's awesome!" I smiled.

"Actually I knew I was getting it because of Jack but anyway seeing Matt today was great. He showed me what to do and stuff. Easy. Is Jack here? Said he was. I want to go and say thank you."

I slowly stood up as I watched her blink, her eyes still made me feel slightly weak. "Y-yea he is."

Lily smiled and walked towards the front door, the dogs followed her in.

"A, I'm worried." I looked up at Jack picking a guitar up.

"Why?"

"A," he sat down, resting the guitar on his knee, "haven't heard from Ri and Zach, worried they've been kidnapped by crazy fans."

"Dude, chill out! What have you taken? You seem a lot weirder than usual..." I shook my head as I watched his eyes light up.

"I'm high on happiness, Lil's happy, you're happy...we all seem happy...wow I need a pen and paper to write that down."

I stared at Jack, he smiled from ear to ear as he rushed around the living room. "A, what sorta song writer are ya with no pens and paper around."

"You have a phone, dude." I smirked.

Jack stopped, his eyes narrowed and gazed at me with confusion. "What good is my phone going-" there it was, his eyes lit up as he delved into his pocket and pulled out his phone. "Oh yea, I've got notes!" He smirked and sat down again.

"Jack, you can be so weird... Also I heard from the guys this morning, they're fine."

Some time had passed. Jack had come down from his 'happy' high and the others had joined. Baz and Peyton were flat out on the carpet in the middle of us all. I bet all of the jumps and licks tired them out.

"Al-Alex..." Lily's voice wobbled as she joined me. I reached out for her hand. "What is it?" I asked. She slipped her hand out of mine, nodded towards the kitchen and began to head over.

"Guys..." They all smiled and nodded for me to go.

"Babe, what is it?" I asked.

Lily looked up, tears welled up in her eyes. "Alex...I'm late..." she instantly gazed down at the kitchen bench.

"What?" was all I could say. I felt stupid. I knew what she meant. I'd noticed something was different about her.

"I-I think I'm pregnant..."

I got a hold of Lily's hand, pulled her up and wrapped my arms around her. Even though I almost choked when Helen mentioned about getting her daughter pregnant, that didn't mean I was going to freak out now. I had a feeling Lily was going to have to tell me. I still tracked her periods so I kind of knew this moment was coming.

"It's ok Lily," I ran my fingers through her hair. "We're get a test. It could just be late for some other reason..."

She held onto me tighter. "I'm scared Alex."

"I know babe but trust me we're be all right. I promise."

Lily and I just stood there for a moment before she wiped her eyes and pulled away. "Can we go now?" she lowered her tone.

"Sure, I'll tell the others we need some emergency beers," I smiled to lighten the mood. Was I ready to be a father? I actually wasn't sure. I didn't seem to be freaking out...yet...

"Guys, Lily's coming with me to pick up some beers, nearly running out."

The next thing I knew was walking into the store towards the baby aisle. Lily grabbed a couple of pregnancy tests and began to dart to the checkout, I grabbed her arm and pulled her into my embrace before going to pay.

Lily grabbed the bag and rushed inside. I was left to pick up the beers. "Beers are here!" I dumped them in the fridge and made my way up the stairs where I found Zach leaning against the wall.

"Zach?"

He looked up and smiled. "Hey Alex. Sorry I followed her up here. I wanted to make sure she was ok."

"Lily's fine."

Zach grinned and went back downstairs. I waited til he was totally out of sight before knocking on the bathroom door. "It's Alex." The door swung open and she pulled me in.

"I peed on it," she let out a smirk but her shaking hands gave away how nervous she was. I sat down and ushered for her to do the same. I placed my arm around her shoulders.

"It will be ok," I repeated. Lily snuggled into my side. "No matter what happens. I'll always be here for you."

"I know," she sniffed.

"To be honest having kids weren't on my wish list just yet however I'm not choking right now," I softly chuckled.

Lily looked up at me with a smirk and softly spoke, "I thought you were dying..."

"Anyway, we'll make it work." I leaned down and placed my lips on hers, kissing her softly.

She opened her mouth to say something just as her alarm went off. I stood up and picked up the test and joined Lily again. We both looked at it. She gasped, bursted into tears as I just gazed blankly at the positive mark that stared back at me.
