Lily's POV

I should have been mad at Alex. He'd said things didn't need to go further and then he goes and flips me over, crashes his lips down onto mine which led to a lot more than we both thought would happen. However, I wasn't.

I'm in bed staring at the ceiling thinking of the wonderful words Alex had whispered as we went along to keep me calm. A gentle knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts. I watched as Alex came in with a cup in each hand. His eyes widened when he noticed me sit up.

"Shit...I'm sorry," he spoke quietly and passed me a cup. "I thought I'd be back before you woke up."

"It's ok."

He grinned and sat on the bed next to me. "I didn't plan on this happening. All I wanted was to make things better for you. Hope I didn't freak you out at first." He glanced down at his lap in shame.

"No you didn't Alex," I began which made him look at me again. "I don't know how the mention of Sophie got you so heated up," I giggled a little to lighten the mood.

His eyes lit up from the quick smirk. "It's what you said before. All those nice things about me helping you out. That's what I wanted to do. I love you Lily, I wouldn't have done it if we were going to go back to square one again."

I leaned over, got his face in my hands and placed my lips on his. Alex's arms swung round my waist, deepening the kiss. "I know that. I love you too," I gave him a reassuring smile as we back away. "You whispered Cinderblock Garden. It was beautiful Alex. I loved it."

Alex smiled back. "I wanted it to be special."

"It was. Thank you." He pulled me back into his arms. "It's ok. You know you were really hot in your underwear."

I quickly backed out of his grip. "Way to spoil a cute moment," I giggled.

Alex laughed as he stood up. "Umm talking of Sophie, I saw that she phoned you like a million times earlier. I wonder what she wants." He winked, bent down to pick up his shirt and threw it at me. "Put that on and I'll make something to eat."

Oh god! What was I going to tell Sophie. She'd go insane. I grabbed my phone and dialled her number.

"Hello?" The blank tone to her voice made me realise if she actually noticed it was me.

"Sophie it's me. Lily."

"Duh!" she giggled. "I saw your name pop up on the screen. Are you ok?"

"I slept with Alex." The words flew out of my mouth before I could control them. They were followed by Sophie's loud scream. I had to take the phone away from my ear. "Oh my god!"

I shook my head at her excitement. I wasn't sure why this was a big deal for her.

"Are you ok?" she repeated, lowering her tone.

"Yea, I'm fine," I said placing the phone back. "It was amazing, he whispered Cinderblock Garden." I smiled at the thought.

"Wow, that's so romantic," she gushed. There was a moment of silence before she continued. "Sorry Lily, I've got to go. I'll come see you guys later. I love ya." I smiled as she hung up pretty quickly. She was probably with Jack.

I slipped on Alex's shirt and crawled out of bed. I grabbed a pair of shorts and rushed downstairs.

"You put shorts on." Alex playfully pouted as I walked in the kitchen.

"Stop being such a man," I laughed, which made him smirk as I joined him at the stove. "What are we having?"

"My awesome dish of eggs and bacon," he began with a massive smile.

"Awesome?" I raised my eyebrows. He laughed as he started to scoop one of the eggs out of the pan.

"I would have cooked something else but we don't have anything else in the fridge."

Sorry it's taken a few days to update. I've been writing stuff for this chapter but haven't been happy, I even switched from Alex to Lily a few times but haven't been able to focus properly. It's short. I'll probably make the next one longer. But I actually like this chapter short.
