Lily's POV

A week had past. Alex and the others had been practicing for their tour. He said I'd go with them but I wasn't sure if I wanted to. There was my mum and Sophie to think about. Sure it would be awesome being round the guys, however I've missed having time to myself since all of this happened.

I glanced up from the kitchen counter. Alex looked at me, like he'd just asked a question and was waiting for a reply.

"Umm...have I missed something?"

He walked closer, leaned on the counter and smiled. "Are you excited about coming on tour with us?"

I glanced down. "I don't know-"

"What?" he asked, all the excitement from a second ago had disappeared.

"Umm...I'm not sure I should go Alex."

"Why?"

I looked up to see him against the fridge with his arms folded over his chest.

"I-I- What about my mum?"

He smirked. "Lily, don't worry, she'll be fine on her own. We will be back. It's only a month on the road."

I bolted up from the seat. "Only a month? Seriously Alex? That's a long time to be away from her."

"And it's a long time to be away from me...what if you get-"

"Alex, I'll be fine. I'm a big girl. I can take care of myself."

"Lily, I understand about being away from your mother but can't Sophie check on her? I would like you to come with us. Not just so you're with me in case...something happens, it's our music, our songs...I'll miss you if you don't."

Alex opened the fridge, pulled out a beer and took the lid off.

"Won't I get in the way of your boy fun?" I smirked.

"Boy fun?" he asked, with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, your boy fun. I've seen videos online of the stuff you get up to. It doesn't seem like a place for a young lady like me to be."

Alex widened his eyes. First I thought he was shocked but he placed the bottle down and laughed. It took him a while to calm down.

"What? It's true! You guys can get really wild."

"Oh Lily," he said under his breath. "That's cute. We're not always like that. Those videos are all mashed up. It may seem a lot but honestly it's not. All it is, is harmless fun and you've been around a heap of that already. Please come. I'd want you there. You're mother will be fine. Jack wasn't going to ask Sophie to come because you were and well they aren't actually together."

"Ok, I'll come... I'll call Sophie." I hoped he wouldn't catch the uncertainty to my voice.

Jack suddenly rushed into the kitchen before Alex could say anything else, and took a deep breath, as if he'd ran a marathon to get here. He walked over to me and kissed my cheek. "You're awesome Lil."

"Err...why is that Jack?"

"For Sophie, she's...she's hot."

l giggled. "Well thank you."

Jack quickly hugged me and left.

"You're coming then?" Alex asked again.

"Yea," I replied which earned a huge smile from him.

"Great."

Later that day, Alex and I were sat opposite my mum. Her nervous glance, after mentioning we had something to say, told me that she wasn't going to like what the something, might be.

"Ma'am," Alex interrupted the awkward silence, which I was grateful for. "My band is going on tour in two days and Lily has decided to come with us."

With Alex's words her nervousness faded into relief. Her eyes lit up as she giggled. "Oh, is that it? I thought you were going to say you'd got my daughter pregnant."

I looked at her and went to say something about not being 16 and if I was pregnant, it wouldn't matter just when Alex began to cough, as if her words got stuck in his throat. He leaned over to grab the glass of water he'd gotten earlier. He took a sip and coughed once more. "Oh no Ma'am," he said, before taking a deep breath.

"I apologise. Are you ok, Alex dear?"

He nodded with a smile.

"So...mum is that ok? Soph will be here-"

I shut my mouth when she held up her hand. "It's great Lil' love, don't worry about me. Have fun. Seriously you deserve a break from here for a while."

"Mum, are you sure. I can-"

"Lily, I appreciate this concern but love, I'll be fine." She smiled, reassuringly and left the room.

Alex turned to me. "You're not are you?"

"We haven't even done anything for me to get-"

"No," he shook his head with a small grin which faded pretty quickly. "You're not excited about this tour are you?"

"I am...it's just I tend to over think stuff and then I worry-"

Alex shoved his lips on mine, not caring that my mum could come back. I stiffened at the thought. He slightly pulled away. "Relax Lily." His lips returned to mine. He deepened the kiss and placed his hands on my hips. As we got lost in the moment his hand travelled further up underneath my top. The thumps in my chest quickened.

Suddenly Alex stopped, even though we were in my mum's living room, I was slightly disappointed. He pulled away. I straightened my top as I sat up.

"Umm are you ok?" he asked.

When I looked up, Alex ran his hands through his hair.

"Yes...why did you stop?"

Alex's eyes widened. "Things were moving pretty quickly, we could have done something that your mother wouldn't like to walk in on." He winked.

"True." I smiled as heat rushed to my cheeks. His cheeks looked pretty pink too.
