Lily's POV

Alex had been dragged away by my mum to help move some furniture around. I felt sorry for him. I loved my mum but you couldn't ignore the fact that she flirts with him. It was gross and weird but Alex didn't seem to mind. He said it was harmless and he has this effect on the ladies. So I was left with Sophie in my old room. It was just the same as it was before.

"I want all the details," Sophie said while glancing at the picture.

"Well, you know the night I went out on my own?"

"Yea...I was meant to come with you. How was it? You've never mentioned it."

"Maybe because I didn't want to."

Sophie detected the lower tone to my voice and walked over to sit next to me on the bed. "What happened?"

"This guy spiked my drink, got me drunk and nearly raped me."

I watched her eyes widen.

"Did my mum tell you I woke up in hospital?"

She nodded and placed her arm over my shoulder and rubbed my arm with her other hand.

"That was because of that... I'm sorry I didn't tell you. You're my best friend for goodness sake."

"Nah, it's ok Lily. I understand it was hard for you."

I smiled. "Alex rescued me." I giggled to lighten the moment. "You know, I thought I'd seen him before when I saw him sat on the chair at the end of my bed in hospital, he seemed so familiar... It didn't click that he was in you're favourite band. Now he's my boyfriend. It's so unreal. The others are great-"

"What? You've met," she began with a shocked tone, "the others." she finished with a deep breath.

I nodded. "They kinda come with Alex, right?"

"Yea...I need to meet them too. Can I?"

"Sure. However can you act your age not like you did with Alex." I smirked.

She glared at me for a second and laughed. "I can't promise you anything but I'll try. In my defence you're boyfriend's hot."

I giggled. "I know right?"

Sophie suddenly squealed and leaned in closer. "Have you...you know yet?" She winked.

"No..." Sophie seemed to be quite surprised by what I'd just said.

"Seriously? Alex is umm... A guy...they-"

"Soph! There's reasons why we haven't. One I'm not ready and the fact I've been having terrible nightmares about actually being raped that night. I've only just started to sleep in Alex's bed."

There was a moment of silence before she sighed. "Oh Jesus Lily...a-are you ok?" I nodded.

"Yea, I'm getting better. Alex is really helping...I can't believe he's so supportive of me. Sometimes I feel like I'm just caving in to the fear this has caused and it makes me sound really weak and I'm-"

"No don't say that about yourself. It's not an easy thing to get over. You've done really well. I can tell because of that snog with Alex outside." She swung her arms around me and I hugged her back. I've really missed Sophie.

Alex's POV

After I put down my side of the couch Helen smiled.

"Thank you so much Alex dear. I've been meaning to move this stuff for awhile now. It just so heavy for me."

"No problem Ma'am. Happy to help out."

Her smile quickly changed to a serious glance. "Lily's been hurt before all of this mess. I'm not saying you're going to but just saying if you do, you'll regret it."

Woah...that was a surprise.

"Helen, I understand. Lily's your daughter and I've pretty much taken her away from you. Trust me, I'm not going to hurt her. I...I-"

"I know you won't. I can feel it. She trusts you. I do too. Lily's never had luck in having boyfriends...but Lily needs to talk to you about that. If you want to know that stuff of course."

Before I could reply, Lily walked in with Sophie following behind.

"Sophie wants to meet the others. Are they at home?"

"Yea they should be," I began but then Helen cut in.

"Go I'll be fine. Have fun."

The moment we walked inside Sophie's eyes lit up as she saw Rian. "It's...it's Rian." She grinned.

He began to walk over as he heard his name. His eyes lit up when Sophie waved in his direction. "Oh this is awesome. I love you're band! I...l...oh man, I'm Sophie. Lily's friend."

"Nice to meet you Sophie." She smiled.

"Oh have we got company." I heard Jack rush out of the living room. The moment he caught sight of Sophie his eyes widened and his jaw dropped. He stood still for a moment before shaking himself out of his trance. "Hey there, I'm Jack."

"I know," she laughed. "I'm Lily's best friend. I love you're music. It's awesome."

Jack ran his hands through his hair. "Err... Sophie right? It's fantastic to meet ya." He smiled and walked off.

"Where's Zach?" she asked.

"He's not here," I replied.

Sophie giggled. "Well obviously."

After the excitement wore off Rian offered Sophie a drink and now we were all sat in the living room. Jack seemed lost in his own world, for once he was quiet, his blank stare was obviously aimed towards Sophie.
