Alex's POV

"Live with me." I randomly blurted out after Lily spoke about moving out of home, she loved her Mother but the past few days, Lily had confided in me that she would like to leave the house she grew up in, her room feels childish, no matter how she decorated it. She was shocked at first but now, I'm helping her unpack boxes.

"I was really surprised that you actually sing for the band," she mentioned as she dived into a box and pulled the contents out.

"You never asked. I would have told you if you did." She grinned.

"True...but it would have helped. I... You're voice is amazing." I chuckled, opening another box.

"Thank you."

"Lily," someone else said from the doorway. I looked up to see Zach. I wasn't sure whether he was talking to me or not.

Lily instantly looked up. "Yea, that's me."

He grinned. "Nice," he said, excitement filled his voice. "Well I'll catch you later." He'd left before she could say anything else.

I leaned closer and chuckled. "That's Zach, by the way. He can be pretty quiet at times. Now it's just Rian to meet." I smiled, grabbed a heap of her clothes, chucking them on the bed and started to fold them.

"You don't have to do that, I can do it." I shook my head. "I want to," I said, leaning over to press my lips to her cheek. I desperately wanted to kiss her lips, after the last reaction I felt like I should take it slowly for awhile.

"My mum would be gushing over you right now, saying you're a wonderful young lad, more should be like you." I laughed.

"Hey, let me know if you want to see her. I'll take you, ok?"

She nodded. "Do your band mates live with you? This is your house, right?"

"They come and go like they own the place, don't they? Yea it's my house."

She giggled. "Well walking around the house naked isn't an option now then?"

Heat raced to my cheeks as I awkwardly chuckled and went back to folding her clothes. "Yea..."

Lily smirked as she chucked a folded pair of jeans on the bed.

"Don't say stuff like that to me, unless you want me to blush...Have you ever done that though."

She giggled again. "Nah my mum's always been around. Oh Alex, you're cute when you blush."

"So are you," I replied.

This conversation was making me rethink how shy Lily actually was. She was really opening up to me, bringing stuff up, I'd thought she wouldn't. Which is awesome. I'm not complaining at all.

"Ri's here!" Jack's voice travelled up the stairs.

"Leave this, I'll help you later. Go and meet Rian."

She suddenly stiffened. "On my own?"

I grabbed her hand and pulled her out the room. Once downstairs, we walked into the living room.

"Ri, here's Lily."

Upon hearing this he walked over and smiled. "Hey, Lily. Pleasure to meet you."

"And you," she replied.

"Who wants a drink?" Jack bounded in. "How about you Lily?"

I quickly noticed that she became quite jittery, she played with her fingernails. I knew exactly what was wrong, it was obvious.

I walked up to Lily, entwined our fingers and whispered, relax, it's ok.

She leaned her side by mine and grasped my hand tighter. Jack was still waiting for a reply from Lily, she shook her head. "No I'm ok, thanks."

"Sure?" He asked.

She nodded. "Well let us know if ya want anything." He smiled and walked off.

I turned to her with a serious glance. "Lily, I know it's hard right now but you can trust them, like you do with me."

"I know," she mumbled.

"Can I tell Jack?"

Somehow I was thinking she wasn't going to like what I'd said but she surprised me by giving me a huge smile, shook her head and said," nah, I will. Jack's pretty nice so I'll go talk to him myself."

I watched as she ran over, tapped his shoulder and pulled him out towards the kitchen area. About five minutes later, they both came back, her with a cup in one hand and Jack, I smirked at his shocked stare, running his hand through his hair.

"Dude, ya should have told me before I went and did something like that. We should tell the others, A." He leaned back against the wall, gazed at the floor. "Poor girl...," he glanced up with concern in his eyes. "I'm sorry A."

"What for?"

"Grilling you about-"

"It's fine Jack."

I smiled and patted his shoulder.

I noticed Lily was deep in conversation with Zach and Rian, it was lovely to see. Jack suddenly relaxed and went back to his normal self as he ran over to join the others. I smiled again and picked up my guitar.

"Let's Jam!" I called out, causing excitement to fill the room.

After Ri, Jack and Zach left we both went to bed, before I could ask Lily if she'd be ok in a room on her own, she was gone. I waited at my door for a second, thinking I should check to see how she is but that thought went pretty quickly. I walked in to my room, sat back on the bed and switched the TV on. A moment later I closed my eyes.

The next thing I knew, my eyes sprung open at a loud knock on the door. I stumbled out of bed.

"Al...Alex!" I sprinted over, and swung the door open, as I detected the wobble in Lily's voice. My heart sank at the sight of her bloodshot eyes and tear stained cheeks.

"The...they're back-" she said before bursting into tears again.

I immediately placed my arm around her waist to guide her over to my bed. I climbed to the other side and pulled her into my arms, holding her tightly.

"I'm here now, it's going to be ok." She sniffed.

"They were-" "Shhh, don't worry," I said comfortingly. "Don't talk, try and go back to sleep."

Lily turned, in my arms so she was facing me. I placed my lips on her forehead, giving her a gentle kiss. She sniffed again, right before she closed her eyes. I did too after a moment to make sure she was all right.
