Lily's POV

"Oh wow," I mumbled, surprised by what he'd said; it shouldn't have. Since the hospital, it had been obvious he liked me. He kissed me for goodness sake.

"Are you sure?" I asked, then regretted, obviously he was sure. Alex wouldn't just say something like that without actually meaning it.

"Yes," he smiled. "Lily, you've been on my mind ever since I've met you. I don't know what it is, there's this feeling inside me to...uh, well be with you. I can't explain it."

Alex scooted round to face me. I looked up at him, he'd just said how I felt. I wanted to be with him, I really did but there was something stopping me from saying yes.

"I feel like that too."

Alex smiled, "Really? You don't know how-"

"But, where do I fit in with your life style, you're in a mega popular band, that goes on tours... I don't know..."

He smirked. "You will come with us on tour."

"I can't do that."

"Why not?"

"Wouldn't want to intrude."

"Nah you won't. You don't need to worry about that. So, we both want to be together, right?"

I nodded. "Let's do it then."

"Ok then...yes let's do it."

He got a hold of my hand, leaned in closer, pressed his lips to my cheek and pulled away with a huge smile, then said, "my band mates want to meet you. Especially Jack."

"I'd love to meet them if they're handsome like you," I giggled.

I expected him to laugh but he didn't for some reason. He just stared harshly in my direction. A couple of seconds later he shook himself out of it with a sigh of relief.

"What was that?"

He grinned and pulled me into his arms. "I don't know, just can't believe what's happening with us. I'd thought you'd run away from me."

"Why would I do that? Since we meant, you've wanted to help me. I guess that what I need, some help with this horrible feeling I get when others get me drinks. I hate his voice..." I shivered at the thought of it. "It's, um-"

"You don't need to worry now Lily. You know I'm here for you."

"Yea." I smiled, which he returned.

"Good, well we better get to the shops then," he said, standing up, holding his hand out for me.

An hour later, Alex had pulled up in his driveway and I stood outside with my phone held to my ear. "Lil' love, I'm fine you have fun with Alex," my mum reassured.

"Are you sure? Do you need-"

Her giggle interrupted. "Go Lil. I'm hanging up so you don't have to."

Suddenly the line went dead. I shook my head and placed my phone in my pocket.

I turned to find Alex resting against the wall with a smug grin. "I told you she'd be alright." He chuckled.

"Shut up. I wanted to make sure." I smirked.

"So you must be..." I quickly turned, to see a guy with skunk styled hair and a big smile on his face, "the chick that has my best friend all shook up," he winked, it seemed not directed at me but Alex instead.

He held out his hand. "If not, I'm Jack any way, lovely to meet ya."

I took Jack's hand and to my surprise, pulled me into a hug.

"I'm Lily, nice to meet you too."

After the meet and greet, we went inside. Jack threw himself on the couch and turned the TV on.

"Mate, really? We have company," Alex moaned.

"Nah, you have company...I thought I should stay away, if ya know what I mean," he winked.
Alex narrowed his eyes, ran over and playfully hit him.

"Seriously, is that all you've got on your mind? Don't we have a show to rehearse?"

Jack's eyes lit up when he laughed. "Wow, when did you get so...," Jack glanced over at me and back to Alex, "so focused?"

He jumped up and grabbed a guitar and shoved it at Alex. "Fine then, let's do this, we'll be OK without Ri and Zach, while they're away," he stated, picking up his guitar.

I smiled, even though I felt somewhat forgotten about in their little moment. I really wanted to hear Alex play.

"Oh, sit down, Lily." Jack patted the couch. "Front row seat here."

He grinned as I walked over and sat down. Alex gave me a huge smile before they started to strum their guitars. Then Alex started to sing. My jaw dropped and my eyes widened. So beautiful, his voice gave me goosebumps.
