Jacks POV

"Jack?" Lily said as she walked out to the kitchen and stood next to me.
" Yeah." I said and looked at her.
"Can you hear me read?" She asked and looked down.
I picked her up and balanced her on my hip.
"I can't at the moment because I need to look after Alex." I said and she looked at Alex who was sat in a chair looking down and messing with his hands looking really stressed.
"What's wrong with him?" She asked and looked at me.
"He isn't used to being indoors because he doesn't have a home like us." I explained the best I could because I didn't know hardly anything about Alex.
"Why doesn't he live with mum and dad?" She asked.
"I don't know." I said.
"Is he like me where his mum and dad did stuff to him?" She said and messed with my top.
"I don't know sweetie. They might of done, but I don't know much about Alex, he's very shy like Alfie." I said.
"I want to say hello." She said and I put her down and she walked over to Alex and touched his leg which made him jump.
I just stayed back and watched the pair off them.

"Hello, I'm Lily." She said.
Alex smiled.
"I..I..I'm A..A..Alex." He stuttered.
" Jack said you was a friend is that true?" She said and Alex looked at me and then looked at Lily.
" Yeah its true." He said quietly.
"He also said you don't have a home is that true as well?" She asked.
"Lily." I said seriously and she looked at me.
"No, I don't have a home." Alex said and Lily looked at Alex.
"Then where do you live?" She asked.
Christ this child is almost as bad as Alice.
"I live on the streets." Alex said and looked down.
"Lily enough go and see if Bandit will hear to read." I said before she could ask any more questions as Alex was getting really anxious and was looking at me for help.
"But." Lily said.
"No Lily. Alex doesn't want to answer any more of your questions go and bug Bandit and Jake." I said.
"Fine." She huffed and walked off into the sitting room.
I walked over to Alex and knelt beside him.

"Sorry about Lily, she gets a but carried away sometimes." I said quietly.
"Its okay." Alex said quietly.
"No Jake!" Alice whined and Alex jumped.
"Why don't you take Alex upstairs where its quieter then the poor soul isn't like a nervous wreck." Mum said and went to the sitting room.
"Come on, we can listen to some music if you want to as well." I said and Alex smiled and nodded.
I got up and lead him upstairs.

"Ignore the mess, I'm too lazy to clean my room." I said and gently pushed Alex inside since he was backing out of my room and since I was stood behind him I used it to push him inside.
I looked at Alex and he looked really scared.
"Alex what's the matter?" I asked and walked over to him but Alex snatched his hands away from me and looked at me.
"I know your game, you are being kind to me because you just want to have sex with me." He said.
"What? No I would never use you like that." I said completely shocked.
"Yes you would. Everyone else has done why should you be any different to them." He said.
"No I wouldn't Lex. I am different from all those people who used your vulnerability to their advantage." I said and Alex looked at me when I called him Lex.
"Those people are disgusting and whatever they did to you is wrong. No one should ever use other peoples vulnerability to get what they want." I said.
Alex looked down and wrapped his arms round himself.
"They all said that before but they still did things." He whispered and turned round so his back was facing me.
"Lex you have to trust and believe me when I say I will never hurt you like those people did. I want to be a good friend and someone who you can trust." I said and I heard Alex sniff.
"People like me don't have friends." He said quietly.
"Everyone has to have a friend, you need someone you can talk to and understands what is going on. You can't face the world on your own." I said and Alex looked at me.
He had tears rolling down his cheeks.
"You'll leave me, everyone leaves me." He whispered.
"I promise you I'll never leave. You can push me away as much as you want and I'll keep on coming back." I said and Alex looked down.
I walked over and pulled him into a hug which made him tense up really bad but soon he relaxed and returned my hug, which made me smile.
"Go and have a shower, I'm sure you'll feel better after woulds and then we can have something to eat." I said and pulled back and looked at him.
"You can use my stuff." I said answering Alex's unspoken question and he nodded.
I handed him a towel and showed him where the bathroom was and left him to have a shower.
I went back downstairs.

"How is he?" Mum asked as she sorted dinner out for me, herself, dad and Alex since the younger ones wouldn't wait and they would also be in bed.
"A mess." I said quietly since I was messing with my drink.
Dad was home and was sat with the others when we heard and thud from upstairs.
"Jack where's Alex?" Mum asked and looked at me and dad came out.
"The boy has gone a gutser in the bathroom." He said.
"Great hearing skills dad glad that hasn't lost it touch." I said sarcastically.
" Jack answer my question." Mum said.
"I left him upstairs to have a shower. He needs some privacy while showering. I know I wouldn't want eyes on me." I said.
Lily came out to the kitchen.
"Alex is bleeding in the shower." She said.
"Shit." I said and quickly went upstairs and nearly knocking Alfie over.

I walked in the bathroom and Alex was passed out in the shower and his arm bleeding badly.
"Shit Alex can you wake up for me?" I said as I turned the shower off and covered Alex up since I don't think he would want my folks to see him naked.
I got a towel and wrapped it round his arm.
"Alex wake up." I said and shook him gently.
"Is Lex okay?" Alfie asked as he wondered in the bathroom.
"Alf, go and get Joyce for me." I said and looked at him while holding Alex's arm in the air.
"But what about Lex?" He asked.
"Alex will be okay now get Joyce Alfie." I said and he went running off calling for mum.
Mum came in.
"What's he done?" She asked and knelt beside me.
"He's cut himself really bad mum." I said and looked at her.
"How bad is bad?" She asked.
"4 deep cuts." I said and looked at Alex.
"Just keep pressure on his arm." She said and moved towards his head.
"Wake up Alex." She said and tapped his face which made him open his eyes.
"Where's jack?" He asked quietly.
"I'm here don't worry." I said but Alex was slowly starting to panic as he didn't know mum.
"Want to swap places." I said and mum moved and I went to Alex.

"What have you been up too?" I asked quietly.
Alex stayed quiet and a few tears fell.
"Don't cry, I'm glad you've done it here so me and mum can help you." I said and went to wipe the tears away but Alex flinched away.
"I'm going to check his arm a minute." Mum said and I nodded.
Dad came in.
"Is he okay?" He asked.
I looked at Alex and he looked like a deer in the headlights.
"He's fine, better if there's only me and mum here." I said and dad nodded and walked out shutting the door behind him.
"Its okay, no one is going to hurt you here." I said.
"I've managed to put a big plaster and a bandage on the cuts. I'll leave you two alone." Mum said and got up washed her hands and walked out the room.

"Sorry." Alex said quietly and looked away from me.
"You don't have to say sorry. I understand." I said and Alex looked at me.
I rolled my sleeves up a d showed Alex the scars I had on my arm.
"Does it get better?" He asked.
"If you want to it to get better then it will. If not then your just not ready, but in time you'll get better." I said.
Alex looked down and sighed.
"Come on let's get you out of here and put some clothes on." I said and Alex looked at me.
"Don't worry, I've seen your dick since you was naked and I covered you up as I don't think you would like mum seeing your junk." I said and Alex smiled a little.
"Want me to get you some PJ bottoms so you can put them on now?" I asked and Alex shook his head.
"Considering there's kids under the age of 10 running round the house I don't think they want t to be seeing your junk." I said.
Alex got himself up and I helped him out the bath and he wrapped the towel round himself.
"Want a hand?" I asked since Alex was leaning against the wall.
"Yeah please." He said quietly and I walked over and put my arm round his waist while Alex held his towel up and we walked to my room.
"Who's going to clean the mess?" Alex asked.
"Mum probably, she likes her cleaning." I said and helped sit Alex on the bed and went over and got him some bottoms to sleep in.
"I can't take them." He said and looked at me.
"You can sleep in the nude if you want. But my younger siblings don't give a shit about personal space and likely to walk in and see you naked." I said and Alex took the bottoms from me.

I turned round so he could get changed and I got my spare duvet and pillow and put it out on the floor.
Alex walked over.
"What you doing?" I asked confused.
"To go to sleep on the floor." He said.
"No your not. You can have my bed tonight." I said.
"I can't kick you out of your bed." He said and looked down.
"Lex, you can have my bed. I'm happy to have the floor as long." I said.
"But.." Alex yawned and I walked over to him and guided him to the bed and gently pushed him so he was lead down and I put the covers over him.
"Your having my bed, you deserve to have somewhere comfy to sleep for the night." I said quietly and I went to get up but Alex got hold of my hand which made me look at him.
"Don't leave, they might come and get me." He said quietly and tears forming in his eyes.
"Hey, don't cry I can stay. How about we watch a movie." I said quietly and Alex nodded.
"Shell we watch Paul since I can't be bothered to change the disk." I said and Alex nodded again.
"Want me to stay on the floor or come and sit on the bed?" I asked.
"Sit on the bed." Alex whispered.
"Okay, move over then." I said and Alex moved towards the wall and I got into bed since it was cold even with the heating on.
"You don't mind?" I asked and looked at Alex.
Alex shook his head and we watched the film.
Halfway through it Alex was asleep so I went to get put off bed but Alex had his arm round me and I didn't want t to move as he looked really peaceful so I got comfy and fell asleep.
