Alex's POV

Everyone was pretty much outside playing in the snow part from me.
I was sat in then sitting room miles away in my little world when I felt someone jump on the sofa which made me jump and then wince in pain since my lower region really hurt from last night fucking I had.
I looked and saw Jake was sat next to me.

"Why aren't you outside?" He asked.
"I don't like the snow very much." I said quietly.
"Is it because you live on the streets?" He asked and I looked at him.
"I heard Jack and Joyce say that you live on the streets and that you find it hard to live in a house sometimes." He said.
I looked down.
"But it doesn't mater because I know Jack likes you." He said.
"He does?" I asked seeing how much I can get out of Jake.
"Yeah, I see the way he looks at you. And how he looks after you." He said and picked at his coat.
I looked down and sighed.
"My mummy used to hurt herself." He said and poked my bandage.
" Did she?" I asked.
"Yeah, but she killed herself when I was little and that's when Joyce started to look after me until someone wants me." He said.
"I'm sorry about your mum." I said.
"Its okay, mummy was sad and she wanted to go and be with daddy." He said.
"Where's your mummy and daddy?" He asked and looked at me.
"My dad left me and my mum and my mum found someone and they didn't like me. I told my mum that I was different from other people and she threw me out." I said.
"That wasn't very nice." He said quietly.
"My parents weren't very nice people." I said quietly and looked down.
"You don't need them poo heads because you have us. We can be your family now." He said cheerfully.
I heard someone chuckle and me and Jake looked and saw Jack leaning against the wall.
"Joyce is making hot chocolate in the kitchen." Jack said and Jake was gone.
Jack came over and sat next to me and pulled me to his side.
"You can come and join if you want." He said quietly.
"I'm happy here and having cuddles." I said quietly.
Jack chuckled quietly.
"Same here really." He said and rested his head on my shoulder.
