Summary
short story kind thing lol
Alex was a 19 year old boy who has cardiomyopathy, a disease where the heart muscle is abnormal, so it is hard for the heart to pump blood to the rest of the body.
All he wanted to do was live, get away from hospitals and just be a normal teenager.
When his condition worsens, Alex needs a heart transplant and he is running out of time, so he spends his days in the hospital, where he meets Jack
Jack was a 25 year old brain surgeon, and didn't know what he wanted until he met Alex.
He's always been the type to follow the rules, aware of there being strict rules against having relationships with coworkers and especially patients.
Will the two of them refuse to admit their feelings for the other, or defy the rules and have a secret, forbidden love?
Warning : bad language, and smut, possibly some triggers

19 year old with Cardiomyopathy, spent entire life home in bed, or in a hospital bed because of his condition. Disease is getting more severe so he is moved to a hospital, where he waits for a heart transplant. So close to dying even though he's barely started living.
Jack Barakat
25 year old neurosurgeon, has always been a hopeless romantic, waiting for 'The One,' to come along. Has never been much of a rebel, does what he is told and respects the people around him. His job is the most important thing in his life, would do nothing to jeopardize it.
