This Ride Is A Wild One

“AMY?” Jack ran into the room, a look of horror on his face when he saw the scene before him. He had no words.
“J-Jack” Amy cried. Jack looked between Amy and Holly, then spotted the gun on the floor. Jack ran in and grabbed Amy without even a second glance at Holly. He picked Amy up bridal style and quickly walked out of the huge manor, Alex keeping up behind them. They weaved in and out of trees, hurrying towards Alex’s parked car. Alex jumped into the driver’s seat while Jack gently placed Amy down in the back seat, climbing in next to her.
The car ride was silent. Amy lay in the back of the car, head in Jack’s lap. She was in and out of sleep.
“Amy, sweetie, you need to stay awake” Jack stroked her hair. She winced wriggling about.
“We’re nearly there” Jack leaned down, kissing her forehead.
Alex parked the car, getting out and opening the door for Jack and Amy. Jack lifted Amy up and gently carried her inside. Amy hid her face into Jack’s neck, placing a soft kiss.
“I love you Jack”
“I love you too”

“There you go, all done. Now you must go home and rest. Do not strain your arm at all. Take it easy, I’m sure you can keep her check” the doctor looked to Jack.
“Oh definitely. She won’t be doing anything while I’m around” he smiled.
“We’ll hand this over to the police to see what they can get from it” the doctor held up a clear plastic bag that contained the bullet that they had pulled from Amy’s shoulder.
“They should be able to trace the bullet back to the gun it was fired from”
“Thank you” Jack shook the doctors hand.
Jack took Amy’s free hand, the one that wasn’t in a sling, and walked out of the hospital. Alex smiled at the couple as they emerged from the exit. He opened the back door to the car and bowed.
“Your majesty” Amy laughed at him.
“I’m not completely helpless you know” she laughed, Jack following her into the car. Alex started the car as they headed back to Alex’s.
“Alex, I just want to apologise in advance” Amy looked at him through the rear-view mirror.
“What for?” he asked. Amy didn’t answer, she turned to Jack and stroked his cheek with her free hand. She grabbed him by the collar and pulled him in for a kiss. He kissed back immediately, placing his hands on either side of her face. Alex made a noise of disgust from the front, however the couple ignored him. The pair pulled away, and Amy just sat with her eyes closed, the feeling of Jack’s breath washing across her face. She placed her forehead on his chest.
“I missed you so much” she began to cry into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her.
“Words can’t describe how much I’ve missed you too. But I’m here now, I’m back”
“Please promise to never leave again”
“I promise”

Okay so I APOLOGISE. This is the shortest chapter I've ever written I think. I just didn't want to waffle on at the end and bore you. I'll try and get the next chapter up soon and it'll be longer :) On a side note, I got an All Time Low tattoo on Wednesday and my family doesn't know about it. I got the ATL skull on my ankle and only my friends know. Haha, I love it so much though :D
ALSO, I was originally going to make it so it was Amy who shot Holly in the shoulder, but I changed my mind as I was writing it. I was going to make Jack and Amy's reunion all happy and amazing, but I just don't work like that ;)
