This Ride Is A Wild One

“Okay so we tracked that plate number you gave us”
“And?”
“Well we tracked the car to a location outside of this city”
“Outside of the city?”
“Yes. It’s just on the outskirts of Baltimore. There is no registered address. It’s possible they’re at a house that nobody has lived in for years. I can give you a general location, but nothing precise”
“Fuck. Okay. Thanks a lot for your help” Alex hung up the phone and looked at Amy.
“I don’t know how we’re gonna do this without getting caught”
“I don’t care; I just want Jack back. We’ll just have to be careful” Amy shrugged.
“Amy, this is going to be dangerous” Alex placed his hands onto Amy’s shoulders.
“I know, but I’m willing to risk it for him” Amy smiled.
“Just don’t do anything that’ll put you in harms way” he pulled her in for a hug. The pair went off to get changed into more appropriate clothing. They both met each other at the front door, ready to leave.
“Oh my god” Amy laughed.
“What?” Alex chuckled.
“We either look like wannabe ninjas, or wannabe emo kids” Amy eyed the completely black outfits that they both had chosen.
“Shush, let’s get going” they both made their way out of the door and towards Alex’s car. It was 1am and they didn’t need any unwanted attention by waking the street up.
Although it was 1am, the air was cool as it was nearing June.
“It’s nearly Jack’s birthday” Amy stated, staring out at the road ahead. Alex simply placed a hand on Amy’s thigh for comfort.

“Okay, this is where we’ll have to get out and search for this place. There’s no more road” Alex parked the car at the end of the road, the pair getting out.
“There’s the car” Amy pointed towards the black Range Rover that was slightly hidden behind some bushes.
“How the hell did they find this place?” Amy asked, looking around the creepy forest.
“It’s Holly, it doesn’t surprise me” The pair continued into the woods in search for wherever Holly was keeping Jack.
After 10 minutes of searching, they finally stumbled upon a huge manor. It was covered in moss and looked like nobody had lived there for years.
“Do you think this is it?” Amy whispered, unsure if anybody was around.
“I can only guess so” Alex shrugged, getting closer towards the house. It looked almost deserted, however they imagined that everybody was inside. They made their way towards the front door, up the huge steps. The door was unlocked.
“Ha, lucky” Amy laughed. They opened up the door revealing a huge room, with many corridors spanning off from it.
“There’s gotta be hundreds of rooms. How are we ever gonna find them?” Alex looked around.
“We split up”
“What? Amy we can’t”
“Alex, it’ll be so much quicker. We have no choice. I’ll go left, you go right. If we don’t find anything, we meet back here in 10 minutes”
“Please, I beg you, be careful. Jack would murder me if anything happened to you”
“I’ll be fine. Look after yourself” she pulled him into a quick hug before turning and walking off down a long corridor.

Alex had been wandering around the halls of the huge house. He had been in so many rooms that he had lost count. There had been no signs of anyone living there at all. He was about to round a corner when he heard footsteps.
“Oh shit” he quietly whispered to himself. He bolted for the nearest door and rattled at the handle. Locked. He wasn’t sure which way the footsteps where coming from. He had to choose between one of two ways to go. Without time to think, he shot off in one direction hoping for the best. As he got to the end of the corridor, he collided with something hard. He looked down to see Jack on the floor.
“JACK!”
“Alex?”
“Oh my god, come on get up, we need to go” he grabbed Jack’s hand, pulling him up off the floor. Alex pulled him into strong hug, patting his back. Jack eventually pulled away.
“We need to be quick before Holly wakes up. I’m trying to get out of here” Jack pulled Alex off in the right direction.
“We need to find Amy”
“Wait what? Amy’s here? Where the fuck is she? Don’t tell me you let her go off on her own”
“I had no choice, you know how she is”
“We need to find her fast” Jack picked up the pace, Alex behind him.

“I swear if I find one more locked room” Amy groaned to herself fiddling with the handle of a door. She pushed on the door, it opening immediately. She stepped inside to have a look around. She almost jumped out of her skin when the door behind her slammed shut. She instantly whipped around to see what had caused it.

“I told her to meet me here after 10 minutes if we didn’t find anything” Alex said, looking at his watch.
“This isn’t good. We need to go and look for her. I’d hate myself so much if she got hurt again” the pair took off in the direction which Amy had earlier taken. Twisting a turning around corridors in desperate search of her.

“You are so stupid; you know that?” Holly laughed as she approached Amy, gun held out firmly in front of her.
“Holly listen; you need serious help! We can sort this out” Amy pleaded with her.
“Are you trying to tell me I’m crazy? Do you know what the last few weeks have been like without you in the picture? Perfect, that’s what. Jack and I are just like we used to be. A happy couple who are in love. He’s even told me so himself. Oh you should see his face when he tells me he loves me” Holly’s mind distracted her from the current situation, which Amy took advantage of. She reached her leg up, kicking Holly’s hand that held the gun. The gun flew across the room landing on the floor. Both girls dived across the room for the gun. Holly reaching it first. Amy landed a swift kick right in Holly’s stomach causing Holly to roll over in pain. As Amy bent down to grab the gun, Holly grabbed onto her hair and pulled her down on the floor. Both girls reached for the gun, grabbing it at the same time. They rolled around the floor desperately trying to gain an upper hand.
“Just give it up Amy, I have Jack now!”
“NEVER!” Amy gritted her teeth desperately trying to pull the gun away from Holly. A finger made its way onto the trigger and immediately pulled it.
BANG.
Alex and Jack both heard the gunshot and a loud scream.
“AMY”
