This Ride Is A Wild One

“Amy no”
“BUT ALEX IT WAS HIM”
“Are you one hundred percent sure? It might just be your mind playing tricks on you”
“ALEX I SWEAR TO GOD IT WAS HIM! I’m gonna follow them”
“Amy don’t you dare”
“I’M GONNA KILL HER THOUGH. I’LL GET HIM BACK”
“AMY LISTEN TO ME”
“ALEX”
“NO STOP. You have no idea what she’ll do to you or Jack if she knows you’re following them. Think for a minute. I want Jack back just as much as you, but you need to be smart about this” Amy sighed, looking around ensuring that nobody had heard her outburst.
“I suppose you’re right” she began to silently cry. She had been crying for weeks and was almost sure that she had ran out of tears. Some nights, she would wake up at 3/4am and cry to herself. Twice Alex had heard her and had to comfort her. It worked for a short period of time before her mind would be flooded with the memories of what had happened.
“I just want him back Alex”
“I know Amy, so do I. We’ll get him back; I promise you”
“Are they still in the store?” Amy had been on the phone in her car outside the store, she couldn’t bear to be back inside.
“I think so. I haven’t seen them walk out yet” Amy sniffed.
“When they walk out, see what car they get in. Then you can get the license plate number. I’m sure it’s not hard to find someone who can track a vehicle”
“I don’t know if I can wait that long though, Lex” Amy was losing her patience. She hadn’t seen Jack in over 3 weeks, and all of a sudden he turns up at a store.
“Why do you think they’re here?” Amy asked out of the blue.
“What?”
“Why do you think Holly and Jack are here? There is no way he would willingly go to the store with her”
“She’s probably threatening him”
“SEE THIS IS WHY I WANT TO GO AFTER THEM”
“Amy, you need to calm down. If we don’t act calmly about this, then we could get into a lot of shit. Holly is dangerous. You of all people should know that. By the sounds of it, Jack is in one piece, so we need to keep it that way” Alex sighed.
“Please promise me you’ll come home as soon as you have the plate number?”
“Okay, I promise” Amy sighed.
“Wait, I think it’s them leaving the store” Amy watched as the couple left the store.
“Alex… Why are they holding hands and smiling?” Alex stayed silent.
“Alex…” the tears were flowing down Amy’s face.
“Amy? Have you got the plate number yet?”
“Why are they kissing?” Amy barely whispered.
“What?” Amy felt like her heart had been completely stomped on. Why was she sitting here watching the love of her life kiss the woman who had kidnapped him?
“Alex I can’t do this”
“Amy you can and you must! If you want Jack back, then you need to see what car they get into” Amy took a few deep breaths. She was doing this for Jack.
“Okay. They’re walking over to a black Range Rover. All the windows are blacked out. I can’t really see the plate”
“Just wait until they start to drive, you’ll see it”
“Okay, now they’re leaving” Amy shakily pulled a pen from her bag to shakily write down the plate number.
“Okay, I’ve got it” she breathed out. She watched as the car took off down the road and disappeared off into the distance.
“I’ll get him back. I swear that I will get him back. I don’t care what I have to do”

I'M BAAACCKKK! I couldn't stay away for too long. Not with the way I ended the last story. Anyway, here is the sequel to Barakat, Jack Barakat. I hope you all enjoy this story as much as the last one. I can't wait for the journey ahead :)
