I couldn’t imagine how this day with Jack could get any better. He took me to this trendy strip mall, and he dragged me into any and every store. Practically anything I glanced at, he pulled out his wallet and bought.
I didn’t think he was this serious when he said he was spoiling me, I mean I love being spoiled, but I hate him spending any money on me.

He bought me a pair of jeans, two tank tops and a denim jacket. It was super sweet of him, but all of this just made me feel guilty. We nearly started arguing when he wanted to get me a new pair of shoes. He said that he was the one who wanted to buy things for me, but it didn’t keep me from feeling bad afterwards. I wish I had that kind of money, I want to spoil him. Jack deserves everything and more, and I barely give him anything.
Someday when I get money I will pay him back for all these clothes.

The both of us started to get pretty hungry, so he took me to where the food trucks were gathered around in the parking lot. I’ve never been to any food truck before, well, maybe if the ice cream truck counts.
There was mexican, italian, thai, and a dessert truck, we agreed on getting something from the thai truck.
They all had extremely long lines, because it was a Saturday, and it was near the holiday season so everyone was shopping. Even though the thai food truck had once of the shortest lines, we’ve already been standing here for 20 minutes. I leaned on Jack as we waited to order.

“Do you want a chair, babe?” he asked me sweetly.

“I broke my arm, not my leg.” I rolled my eyes.

“I just don’t want you to get worn out,” he told me with a shrug. He’s so protective!

“You’re the sweetest, I’m fine love. Stop worrying about me and figure out what you want to eat.” I chuckled.

“I already know, what do you want?”

“Chicken pad thai,”

“It’s like we have the same mind,” Jack chuckled, wrapping to arms around me and kissing me. I giggled, and wrapped both of my arms around his middle.
Jack ordered us our meal, because I was painfully awkward, and I pulled out my wallet to pay for us, Jack seemed to be doing the same thing.

“No Jack, stop, you wouldn’t even let me pay for my own clothes.” I told him frustratedly.

“Yeah, it was my treat, I wanted to buy them for you.” he told me. I knocked his hand away so he couldn’t give the cashier his card, and gave them my credit card, Jack groaned.

“But my birthday isn’t for another couple weeks,” I responded.

“This wasn’t for your birthday, I just love getting you stuff.” he told me.

“Okay, then these can be my birthday present then.”

“You’re funny,” Jack laughed. No! He can’t spend all that money on me, and then buy me even I more things for my birthday!

I gave up because I knew there was no point in starting an argument, because he wouldn’t change his mind.

We waited in the for our food to be made and now I started to get worn out. The crowd of people we were in was getting overheated and rowdy with impatient customers. People kept shoving into one another just for food. I don’t get what the big deal is, it’s just thai food, they are acting like it’s the first meal they’ve been able to have in weeks.

“Ow!” I gasped, as some douchebag acted like I was invisible, and walked into my broken arm making it bend back. Fuck, honestly the hard cast probably hurt him more than me, but he could’ve apologized. People are so rude.

“Fuck you dude! Watch where you’re going, asshole!” Jack yelled after him, pressing me closer to his body, and I felt heat rise onto my cheeks as a blush.
He always stands up for me. I felt him rest his chin on the top of my head.

“You should grab us a table before there’s none left.” he told me, but I think he just wanted to get me out of the busy crowd before I got hurt again.

“Okay,” I said, turning around to pick one of the white plastic tables. By the looks of it, it looked like there was none left.

As I walked I felt a tug on my hand, and I was pulled back into Jack, who wrapped his arm around my waist to kiss me. I smiled against his kiss, he chuckled and kissed my cheek then gave me a light push to the tables .
I shuffled away, my face bright red from a blush.

This has been the best date we’ve ever had, ever better than our first one. The first was just too awkward, even though we had our first kiss, our first kiss was nothing compared to the emotions we had for each other now.

My stomach growled, I really should’ve eaten breakfast or something. I hope Jack doesn’t think I’m a pig when I eat every bite of my lunch. I looked up to see Jack a few feet away, walking over with a tray of food, my mouth watered at the sight.

I heard an obnoxious flirty whistle, bringing my attention toward a girl in a maxi dress, and a tall guy with blonde hair, and a bright pink polo.

“Nice legs, sweetie!!” the guy shouted at Jack.

“Please fuck me and be my baby daddy! We’d make the cutest babies!” the girl yelled.

“You look like you could show a guy a good time,”

They’re saying that to Jack? My boyfriend?! That is so messed up.
Don’t they realize how degrading that is? He isn’t just some hot body people get to look at, he’s mine.
I glared after the two of them angrily, if they want to shout their opinions about me, be my guest, but my boyfriend is off limits. They need to take their stupid ducking catcalls elsewhere.

“Alex, don’t be pissed.” Jack told me as he placed the tray down, seeming unfazed by the situation. Suddenly, I seemed to lose my appetite. Just because he’s sexy doesn’t mean they could scream insulting things at him, it’s so disrespectful.

“I hate people. You’re not just some object that they can scream sexual remarks at. It’s so fucking offensive and they don’t even care.” I exclaimed. If I was brave enough I would’ve ran after them and gave them the same speech, Jack probably would’ve starting screaming insults at them if it was me.
I can’t believe people these days. So fucking rude.

“I love you so much,” Jack leaned over and kissed my cheek, I was still a bit angry.

“Does this happen often?” I asked, and he shrugged in response. He acted like it was a normal thing, that just made me more angry.

“Struggles of having a super sexy boyfriend, other people stare at you that aren’t me.” I grumbled. I wish Jack didn’t look so hot all the time, well of course I do but, I wish I had him all to myself. At least I’m the one that gets to kiss him.

“I can relate to that,” he told me, I shook my head. People don’t look at me the way they look at Jack. Whenever we’re together, I’m in his shadow and he’s practically a lighthouse, attracting people.

“I’m yours, and only yours.” he told me when I didn’t respond, and turned my head to kiss my lips.

“Good, don’t you forget it.” I smiled, he chuckled and pulled me closer to kiss him more.
