The Council
I put my black hood over my head as I was called into the council's room. I hated being called in by them. They were just a bunch of powerful witches that were named after the zodiac signs. I could take them. I was named after the moon after all. With the help of my sister, I could probably take all 12 down at once. It would be harder to tell if you didn’t know name meanings, but she is named after the sun. Cymbeline and I are suppose to be the guardians of the chosen ones. I walked into the dark room. The only light was being shined on the council and me.
“You do realize why you are here, don’t you?” Aries asked me.
“Of course I do.”
“Then why didn’t you do it. Do you want us all killed?”
“No.”
“Then why the hell did you do it?! Are you that much of an idiot?!” Scorpio yelled at me. “I mean, only a complete moron would have done that!”
“Don’t you think they deserve happiness too?”
“Well, it would be nice if everyone was happy,” Libra contemplated, “but it could cause the end of the world. I can’t decide.”
“They want to be together. Shouldn’t we try to keep them together?”
“No,” Leo disagreed. “We can not afford it.”
“It’s already too late though,” Aquarius told them as she looked into her bowl of water. “It’s already started. They slept together. Before was ok because one was a girl, but he turned back into a guy in the middle of it last night. I can already see the demons leaving the gates of their dark world.”
“So it’s too late?” Virgo’s eyes widened. She was always one to worry.
“I’ll protect them,” I told them. “Everything will be fine.”
“They might as well stick together now,” Gemini said. “No, they need to stay apart, so they are not captured together.”
“Everything will be fine,” I tried telling them again. “Cymbeline and I are the strongest witches. With the two of us, they will be safe.”
“We still need to get them somewhere safe,” Leo said. “You need to get them to the safe house. The demons won’t be able to enter there of course you won’t be able to as well because no being that has unlocked their powers can enter there. You need to do that as soon as you can get to them. It’s not like you’ll be able to teleport there. It’s forbidden. You’ll have to find another way.”
I nodded. “Tell my sister to meet me there. I’ll get there as soon as I can.”
“Will do.”
After chanting ancient words, a purple portal appeared in front of me. I walked in and found myself in my house again. There was a knocking at the door, so I walked over and opened it. Outside stood the cause of all these problems. I grabbed them by their wrists and dragged them down to the basement.
“What the fuck?” the older one said. “Why did you just drag us down here. You could have just told us that we needed to come down here.”
“Shut up,” I calmly told him as I grabbed some bags out of a cabinet.
“What’s going on?” the taller one asked.
“We need to leave.”
“What do you mean?”
“We need to leave.” I gave them each a bag. “Start filling these bags with as much stuff as you can. We’ll need it.” I started grabbing different vials.
“What’s happening?”
“You guys are in danger.”
“Danger?” the older one questioned. “What do you mean by ‘danger’? Were you not suppose to turn him into girl and your leaders are mad or something?”
“No. They were upset, but they are upset because you two are suppose to be together.”
“What do you mean?” the younger asked.
I put everything down. “It deals with an ancient prophecy. I’ll tell you after we get everything packed, ok?” They nodded. “Good.”
I started grabbing as many different jars and other containers that had things that I would have to have for making potions of different kinds. They may have not known what we would need, but they were able to pack everything we would. They might have put it in because it was in the back of their mind or something like that. I really didn’t want to tell them what happened. We had to get going. I guess that I could just tell them on the way to the safe house.
“Are you going to tell us now?” the elder one asked when we finished.
“I’ll tell you on the way there.”
“To where? You haven’t told us anything except that we’re in danger. We are not leaving this house until you tell us.”
“You don’t understand. They’ll come looking for us here first. It’s not safe.”
“Tell us.”
“Fine. I’ll tell you the basics right now and then the rest while we leave. Alex, I’m your guardian, and Cymbeline is your guardian, Jack. You two are the ones from prophecy.”
“Wait. What?”
“I am the witch named after the moon. They knew that I was the one to be it because I was born with a silver crescent moon on my shoulder. My sister, who is the witch named after the sun, has a yellow sun on the other shoulder. We were born to protect you. You two aren’t normal people. Jack, my sister is your guardian because you are the one born from light. Alex, I’m your guardian because you’re born from darkness. You two are the strongest beings in the world, and demons will try to get you on their side. When both of you are together, you are unstoppable. That’s why you were never suppose to be together. When you slept together last night as yourselves, you basically told the whole magickal universe that you’re alive, well, and together.”
“Then why did you turn Jack into a girl? You knew this would happen, right?”
I nodded. “I’ve known all along. I just thought that it would be best if the two of you were happy because what’s the point in protecting you two if you’re going to be miserable. Hell, you might have went to the demons because we wouldn't let you together. The council may not know it, but my sister and I have known that you would have ended up together anyway. We just didn’t know when. I know this is a lot to take in. I’m going to tell you the rest on the way. Now, come on.”

I might. I'm busy right now with school which is why all of my stories are really late. I don't like the fact that I didn't finish the sequel, but I want to rewrite this. I'll put this with the other stories that I want to write for the summer.
