They say live life to the fullest. I guess no-one understands that saying until they find out their going to die or something. Not only do you try and live life to the fullest but you see things in more detail. Like how your loved ones eyes light up when they see you after a hard day at work or how they frown when their confused or working something out. You never really notice anything really until you get news that your days are limited.
*Few months eariler*
I heard the bedroom door creak open. I pulled myself away from the sleeping body in front of me and sat up and looked at the person who had woken me up. "What's up?" I yawned loudly. "I had a nightmare, can I sleep with you and daddy?" The little voice asked. "Yeah." I sighed and lead back down and pressed myself against the body in front of me. "You have pants on?" I mumbled into their ear. They hummed in response and I pulled the covers up to check and they was. I felt someone jump on the bed and climbed under the covers. "Go back to sleep. Me and papa will keep the monsters away." They yawned. I cuddled into their back and went back to sleep.
It didn't seem to last long as soon someone was jumping up and down on the bed. "Wake up daddy! Wake up papa!" Our 4 year old daughter, Lily, laughed and jumped on Alex, my husband, which made him grunt. "Go jump on papa." He grumbled. She laughed and jumped on me which also made me grunt. "Wake up papa." She said and grabbed my cheeks and pulled on them. "Ow, don't do that Lily." I said and she laughed. "Papa awake?" She asked and sat on my chest. "Yes I'm awake." I yawned and rubbed my eyes and looked at her. "Got some serious bed hair going on kid." I chuckled. "Not as bad as daddy." She giggled. I didn't notice that Alex had rolled over it wasn't until Lily was being pulled off my chest and was being tickled by Alex she was laughing really loudly. "What was that about my hair?" He chuckled. "Messy hair." She giggled. "At least I don't look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards." He said and gently pulled a bit of Lily's hair. "Ow daddy." She grumbled and rubbed her head. "Aw I'm sorry." He said and sat up and kissed her head. "Daddy's kisses makes everything better." She said. "Yes they do." I smiled and lent over and kissed Alex. "What about me?" Lily asked. I looked at Alex and he smiled and we both kissed a cheek each and Lily smiled. "So who's gonna cook me breakfast then?" Alex asked. Lily pointed at me. I rolled my eyes and got out of bed. "We'll meet you downstairs." Alex said and Lily went running out the room. "Nice ass." Alex smirked. I ignored him and I heard him climb out of bed and wrap his arms round my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder. "You okay?" He asked quietly. "Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" I said and turned round and face him. "Just making sure. I don't want you going anywhere for a long time." He said quietly and kissed me. "I can say the same too you." I said against his lips and kissed him again. "We better go a feed piggy downstairs otherwise she'll be moaning at us." Alex said quietly and walked over to the bed and threw my pajama bottoms at me and put his on.
We had breakfast and we was just chilling. Well Alex was sat on the floor grading a load of papers. "Can I help?" Lily asked him. "No sweetie you can't. Why don't you bug papa and see if he'll take you out to the park." He said and looked at me. "Go find your coat and wellies and we'll go and see if there is any puddles we can up in." I said. Lily smiled and went running off. "Your a life saver." Alex smiled. "How lonmg do you want us out the house for?" I asked. "A couple of hours. I just need some peace to mark the rest of these. Since I couldn't do it last night." He said and raised a eyebrow. "I didn't hear you complaining about it." I said and kissed his neck. "You better fucking pay these neck hickies disappear by Monday." He said seriously. "Well at least they know your mine." I said. "I have your surname while at the school, I wear my ring. I don't need to look like some slut." He said. "But your my slut." I said and Alex chuckled and kissed me. "Too right." He said quietly and Lily showed up. She had her coat on but was carrying her wellies. "Pop your wellies on and I'll do your coat up." Alex said and I got myself sorted and Lily was just giving Alex a hug and a kiss. "You be good." Alex smiled and Lily ran over to me. "Don't get her too dirty otherwise you'll be giving her a bath when you both get back." He said seriously. "Aye aye captain." I said and kissed him and went out.
When we got back Lily was bushed and covered in mud since she was pushed over by some kid. Alex was making her tea and he looked at us. He came over and took her wellies off and helped me take her clothes off and put her pajamas on as she was slowly falling asleep. "Do you want you pizza now or not?" Alex asked quietly. Lily shook her head. "Want me to put her to bed?" Alex asked. I nodded and passed Lily too Alex. "Can you bring a drink amd some pizza up with you in case she wakes up hungry." Alex said quietly I nodded and got a drink and put a couple slices of pizza on a plate and followed Alex upstairs. Alex was just walking out the room as I quietly walked in and back out again. "Did you manage to get everything done?" I asked as we walked downstairs. "Yeah, so half my class is failing and the other half is just passing." He said and went to the fridge and grabbed a couple of beers and walked over to the sofa and cuddled into my side and handed me a beer. "Find a movie to watch." Alex said quietly. "Why can't you." I grumbled. Alex huffed and stolen the remote from me and found a film to watch for most of the night.

Hey guys, I'm Kids-in-the-dark and I'll be writing alongside krysward.tentacles. Hopefully I don't suck that much a fuck everything up.. Just a heads up I am having problems with paragraphing my stories (which is really annoying) and a new paragraph will be in bold. Unless I can get on the computer at work while doing a sleep in then there will be paragraphs. Also I am sorry for my poor spelling and grammar I'm dyslexic so you'll just have to bare with me or you can be free to shoot me...
