Summary
Jack and Alex have a beautiful, healthy marriage. They even have a daughter named Lily who is three years old. A seven year marriage at its happiest, but soon, Jack is given the devastating news that Jack has leukemia.

Characters
Alexander "Alex" Gaskarth-Barakat
35 years old. Alex is the husband to Jack, and he is the father of Lily Gaskarth-Barakat. He also carried her. He is a music teacher at a high school which he started after retiring from All Time Low. He is Jack's main support through the journey.
Jack Gaskarth-Barakat
34 years old. Jack is the husband to Alex, and he is the father to Lily Gaskarth-Barakat. He is unemployed but still plays guitar on the side as a hobby. He is diagnosed with stage three bone cancer, but he refuses to give up in thought of his daughter and husband.
Lily Gaskarth-Barakat
4 years old. She is the daughter of Alex and Jack Gaskarth-Barakat. She doesn't understand much of what is going on with Jack, but she tries to help her fathers out the best she could. She's a lovable and playful girl, and she is very protective over Jack.
